Call Me by My Name

Call Me by My Name
"Give him to me, my female." His voice beckons me as the shore beckons the sea to succumb. A slow soft tone emerges from his throat to linger in the depths of my mind, large lustrous emeralds rise to meet mine.

Kal propels forward in my arms screeching with irritation struggling to free himself from my bounds to get to his father who stands shoulder-deep in the river. My eyes peer inside scanning its depth and I shake my head in denial once more.

"I do not think this is a good idea, Deimos," I utter whilst taking an uneasy step backwards. "It is too deep. I do think the temperature of the water is not right for him. He could drown or get sick, he is still vulnerable." My heart pounds in fear as my mind brings forth pictures of potential disasters.

"Trust me." He mutters offering me a nod of encouragement. Hands raised he waits for me to hand over our excited male.

"I do trust you, it is this male I hold I do not trust. He is too aggressive with his eagerness to discover new things." A flash of fang is delivered to the naughty male who refuses to keep still in my arms yet he pays no heed to my act of reprimanding. His eyes and attention belong to his father only.

"I learnt the soothing touch of the waters when I was around six months, Kal is almost nine. He shall love this." He says whilst Kal's tiny fists begin to push at my chest with defiance of my antics, he demands to be released at once.

Deimos had been talking about this for the past few weeks, saying Kal should begin his training as early as possible for there are countless strengths it possesses. I had agreed but a mother's fear is quite unfathomable. Pups usually learn to swim by the age of two, Kal is not even a year old yet. I refuse to put him in dangerous situations knowingly.

"How shall you teach him?"

"Exactly how we teach the other pups. He shall learn to float first. Kal, come." The second our male hears his father playfully beckon him, he leaps out of my clutch with no warning or hesitation as a piercing scream tears out my mouth for I lose my hold of him and he falls freely into the water.

My heart rages with my difficulty to breathe for it happens in a short span of seconds where large palms catch the falling male swiftly holding him above water with ease. Deimos's chest heaves, eyes widened for he hadn't expected it as well. Placing my palm upon my chest trying to ease my palpitating heart does not help to calm the sense of sudden fright Kal evoked.

"Kal." A booming snarl of anger entangles from Deimos's lips vibrating through his chest to correct the little one. A warning of disapproval to what he just did.

Kal flinches widened doe greens meet his father's to the raise of his voice. He understands emotions and speaks through them. A few seconds pass for his lips to quiver, eyes well with tears as his mouth opens wide to release upset wails clenching his tiny fists in reaction to Deimos's response.

No comfort comes from neither Deimos nor me. We watch him bawl until his cheeks swell and turn red. This is his punishment, no comfort shall be offered.

We stay patiently keeping our eyes on him, waiting for him to calm by himself. Wolves are taught to spank the little ones after they reach a certain age yet Deimos and I concluded we shall never raise our hands on our pup ever. Perhaps during his training Kal would face painful hurdles but he would never experience the raps of submission from his father.

Our male turns his head towards Deimos nudging his nose and cheek onto his father's wet chest. He breathes in his scent seeking comfort by himself calming until cries turn to hiccups.

"He did good, did he not?" Deimos questions softly alluring emeralds scanning the beauty of his male, right thumb wiping away tears from his plump cheek.

"Yes, he did. He learns fast." I sigh whilst taking a seat by the river upon the grass. It is hard to reprimand him and watch him cry yet this is the best way to train and teach him right from wrong.

"Watch us, my female," Deimos mutters whilst relaxing his hold on our male taking him down to the calm waters. Kal's eyes broaden to the new feelings that are inflicted upon his bare flesh, yet he remains collected not protesting whilst his father introduces him to the water.

He is aware of its presence as I bathe him every night, but there is a difference as his senses are absorbing the true essence of nature. The smell, taste, and overwhelming feeling of freedom and tranquillity of her waters cannot be compared.

Deimos then turns Kal swiftly belly down plunging deep taking him beneath the water. Fear is once again quick to drag its wretched nails across my flesh to what my eyes witness. Painfully long seconds pass as Deimos dives up allowing his male to regain his breath.

Emeralds sink into Kal's waiting for his reaction. Pups primarily possess two main reactions to this training, they love it or they detest it. We wait for him to wail to show his displeasure but nothing comes.

He looks up at his father drenched with his arms and legs flailing then he peers up at me to offer a gleaming toothless smile. He loves it. I offer him a grin of encouragement whilst Deimos laughs in contentedness proud of him whilst lifting his male above his head. Kal squeals in delight, eyes observing his surroundings. He takes in the river, the trees, the sky and the fresh pastures I sit upon.

"How was he down there?" I question lifting the hem of my long skirt to bare my flesh. It is quite hot today, despite the sun bleeding to night.

"He remained in my arms calmly, he was not scared. Curious little one he truly is." Deimos chuckles whilst tickling Kal's full belly.

"That is a relief for if it were different it would have been difficult to train him with his defiant personality," I mutter. Our male is one of the most stubborn and smart pups in our pack, it gets hard to control him but he is never disobedient.

"Indeed. Perhaps this would be his place of comfort. I did not like the water when I was a pup so I never sought comfort here. But he likes it, he shall seek it." Deimos replies with enthusiasm.

"What will you do now?" I ask with curiosity. In the past in my pack, we did not teach pups to swim for the water was seen as something dangerous for them as we lost many lives, the cause being drowning. We could have taught them to swim to reduce the risk of drowning yet the wolves wished for the entire riverside to be shut for pups. They were allowed to enter after they became a juvenile.

"I shall teach him to float." I watch as Deimos places his right palm beneath Kal's head and neck and the other beneath his bum holding him over the soft waves. He begins to move backwards taking Kal with him.

"Would he learn to float by today itself?" I question whilst glancing at the little one whose eyes meet with the darkening sky. His mouth open in awe he babbles of his admiration to what he sees.

"It takes a few months, I shall make time to bring him here as much as I can." He replies never taking his eyes off his male. Deimos is gentle and highly careful when it comes to Kal, he is aware of the little things and makes sure to handle him with patience.

Deimos slowly removes his left palm from under Kal's bum and the little one is unaware of its departure. It truly is a beautiful scene to witness, your males bonding. I can sit here and watch this take place for an entire day. It takes away my concerns, my negative thoughts and brings warmth to me. It puts a smile on my face.

As time passed, our male got accustomed to the clear waters. It carried him up with ease whilst he relished in the feeling that the smooth waves inflicted upon his flesh. It was as if nature frolicked with him, it was as if she adored his presence.

Deimos took him for several rides, back and forth they went. They dived deep a few times as well, and every time Kal was brought up he would offer us his smile of excitement, an indirect way of asking us to do it again. Among the laughs and giggles, several pictures had been clicked by my camera. I shall decorate the walls of the castle of his growth soon so he shall know it as he grows, that he is loved.

"Shall we leave? The sun has set." I mutter casually whilst scooping some water to pour it over my bare legs to cool my heated flesh. Lifting my skirt higher above knees to my mid-thighs I bend lower repeating what I just did.

A sharp intake of breath is taken from a male whose heat emerging from his eyes seems to burn deeper than the sun. There is a shiver to his flesh, one cannot say if it's due to the chilliness of the water or the unforeseen passion that sets him aflame.

Deimos is always in need of me. There is no stop to his appetite, there is no end to his desire to consume every inch of me. Darkening emeralds draw in mine, to beckon what already belongs to him. He feasts on my wet flesh that glistens and seduces him.

Every natural action of mine sets him on fire, there is nothing I need to do on purpose from my side. "Deimos, stop," I whisper to him caging my need to answer his formidable call. Hopeful that my weak warning shall help subside his fire.

He takes in a deep shaky breath as though he were in pain as though he found the situation to be agonizing. My true essence tempts him, it always does. There is no end to it. His chest rises and falls back painfully slow, he swallows harshly. A lewd male is controlling his bestial impure nature.

"I cannot, my female." Voice hoarse and unfathomably deep he controls what wishes to be unleashed. He is truly an electrifying male, there is that power that he possesses. A relentless power that leaves me immobile and submitting to his sinful gluttony.

Trembling fingers are quick to pull down my skirt, hiding my flesh from his eyes. But it does not faze him for his hunger is not for my flesh, it is for what I possess within. Each step he takes towards me, he carries the saltiness of the water with him. A saltiness I would like to taste.

His chest bare water drips down his flesh with a slowness, seduction at its finest. Each drop that slides down his skin adds to my thirst to drink him in. "Come here, my female." He calls me as a siren would, voice manifests to a raging beast. A fervent need pokes at him, he cannot think he cannot speak. Only find a way to cage me.

My weak steps falter backwards, I stumble and fall. His eyes take in everything, from the surging flush of my cheeks, my heavy breasts to the wetness of my skirt that clenches tightly around my flesh. A prey. That is all he sees in his eyes.

Unfaltering, unwavering he walks towards me with purpose. To eat, to digest.

Our male is the first to break our surging dangerous ardent connection. He wails of his hunger, his belly pulling at him asking to be fed. Deimos is brisk to halt his need, retaining his male to his chest. Peering down at me, he scans my burning flesh once more. His wolf retreats with a flash of teeth towards me, not in aggression but a promise. A promise he shall devour later.

He gives me his hand which I quickly take, "We shall feed him first." He says jaw clenched as he guides us back to the house. His hunger still simmers and sizzles beneath surface. No matter what our male comes first. This shall never change.

The path back to my house is quiet, I do not dare to open my mouth as to not say anything that shall fuel his craving. Kal weeps the entire trail back, in demand to be fed. But he calms as he takes in the scent of the emerging house.

Deimos prepares to give our male back to me drying our pup's flesh with the towel cleaning him before I take him in. I peer up at the house I built taking in its outer layers, yet the heart of the house remains void waiting patiently for not two of a family but three. It is time.

"Here, take him." He mutters leaning towards me handing our male who has now begun to suck on his thumb in hunger.

"Deimos," I whisper eyes drawing his own to mine. I call his name, not as a stranger but as my own. My voice is faint as he frowns with confusion as to why I am not receiving our male whilst trudging closer to my heat.

"What is wrong, mate?" He probes eyes submerging deep into mine. He wishes to discern my mind, he wishes to know the sudden change of my aura.

"Come inside."

Silence. Pure lasting silence slips through us enveloping our bodies in a cloud of surprise. He blinks a few times yet he never takes his eyes off mine, nestling deep into my heart to visualize my truth that slipped past my lips.

"May I?" Insecurity is swift to sink its teeth down his core. He is confused, unsettled yet also mildly happy. For this is the very first time he shall enter the house I built meant to keep him away. He panics to come in for he thinks he shall filthy the purity of the place with the mistakes of his past, he finds himself unworthy to enter my heaven.

"I would like that." I reply whilst I saunter ahead to open the door. Startingly vivid greens peek up at the entirety of the house then falls to meet mine as I stand still having the door pulled wide open for him to enter. I welcome him.

Slow steps he takes to where I stand, he swallows trying to calm the nervousness that floods him. Feet bare he raises his right foot upward and glances up at me to see my emotions of this. He asks me with those pale and watery eyes if I am sure of this.

"Come, Deimos." I urge him with a smile of encouragement, this is no Alpha male that stands by the door. This is a father, a mate who is trapped beneath the guilt of his past. This is an insecure male who is in want of being loved, in fear of being hated and left alone.

The floorboards creak and groan to the weight of the male who takes his first step into my empty house. His scent blooms as a flower spilling its freshness against the cold walls. My eyes enlarge to understanding that sets in. This was it. Only he could do it for me.

Only he could change a house into a home. Only he could melt my coldness.

He scans the interior from the low ceiling that is barely able to accommodate him to the tiny open kitchen that lays before his eyes. I take Kal from his hands allowing his father the freedom of absorbing what I had built.

Whilst I prepare some grounded lean meat to feed the little one, Deimos wanders through the house fingers brushing past everything he passes by, he wishes to feel it. To listen to what the house says to him of my life here void of his presence.

He strides towards the closed bedroom but he does not open it merely stands in front of it placing his palm atop the wooden door. "You can go in, Deimos," I whisper swaying Kal upon my hip whilst feeding him with a small spoon. He swallows eagerly savouring the tenderness of the meat whilst opening his mouth wide for the next bite.

Deimos startles to my voice that eases his anxiousness yet he ponders over whether to enter or not for he does not wish to barge through my personal space. He understands and respects my boundaries, he does not wish to overstep them. I leave him by himself to do whatever he pleases, just as Kal calms his own storm so must Deimos.

Sitting upon the chair by the table I focus on finishing feeding the little one for with his belly full his eyes will close naturally with drowsiness and I shall put him inside his crib to sleep after.

Deimos roams further the miniature house over and over through the same places, it is as if he is engraving its features in the depths of his mind. This was something he truly yearned to see and be a part of. Yet he never enters my room, he finds an invisible barrier that lies in front of his eyes.

Whilst time passes, I gather the tired pup in my arms taking him into the bedroom. Seizing Deimos's hand I guide him in as he stumbles with a surprise of my suddenness behind me. "This is where I sleep with Kal," I say while laying the little one gently in his crib. He does not protest merely rolls up in the blankets as his eyes flutter close losing himself to the deep slumber that calls him.

Slightly dazed emeralds peer through the small but warm room taking in the ambience of its entirety. A delicate smile paints his face, whilst he takes weak steps towards the bed. Trembling fingers touch the mellowness of the mattress lifting it he brings it to his nose. Eyes closing shut he pulls in a deep breath.

"I see the lonely nights. I see the hard nights. I see the nights you laid awake right here, your heart mourning my mistakes. I see you, my female." He murmurs voice drowning in the pain of what his mind reveals to him.

"But I also see the happiness this house brings you, the warmth you feel. This house is the speaker of your soul. I feel you strongly here as the blood that runs in my veins. What you have built is truly divine." Deimos utters picking up the photo frame that laid upon the bed table. A gentle smile comes alive as his eyes scan through the picture of me kissing Kal's plump cheek. He doesn't need to say it for his soul shows it for me. His overflowing love and adoration for Kal and me.

"Deimos." Almost luminescent forest greens meet mine, the photo clutched tightly over his chest. He shall treasure what he has seen.

"Yes, my female."

"Call me by my name."
