Chapter 105

Chapter 105
Calista pov

The fact that my husband and both of the families thought of me going to hurt a child without considering my best victim would be his insufferable mother blew me away.

"Bella, can you tell me what it would take for you to leave me alone?"

I asked her and she just looked at me as if I was the only one that had troubled her in her life and that she had to treat me this way all the time and she was close to snapping my little patience for her and her antics.

"I'm just making sure that you are doing well and this is a great pain for me you know…"

She said as she brought even her clean clothes and claimed that they were going to be really dirty if she allowed them to carry more dust and she was not joking at all.
So with her clothes packed to the brim, I decided to go back to Grey's room to make sure that I didn't miss anything initially when he saw me and the mountain of clothes it looked like he was ready to spill a little bit of pity for me but I was reaching out to an impossible dream as he was focused on a book and ignoring me as if I was not even real at all.

Well at least I have a bit of a sense of peace knowing that he won't be hovering over my shoulder and poking in whatever I did, I did a little search and found some other messy clothes thrown around and so I brought out the pile in the basket and that was the moment that I was able to notice it.

A boxer in Bella's clothes, when I saw it my heart initially sank thinking that Grey was now having a sexual relationship with that woman but then it hit me that I was probably wrong because I knew all of his underwear and this one was not his style at all and it looked old and worn out from every side with holes.

"What have you been looking at for so long?" Grey asked coming from behind me and I quickly rushed and hid it before his eyes were able to catch up with what I was looking for and then I packed up the rest of the clothes and then I got to leave at that very instant and I was trying to catch my breath since I didn't expect him to come up like this.

I did the laundry but I didn't even get a chance to focus on the first thing I had a problem with that was not the case for the boxer incident.

Why was it in Bella's room?

If they were sleeping together Grey may keep it a secret for at least a few months with little respect for our marriage.

But Bella would have gotten it announced publicly no matter how embarrassing it was going to be she would have not cared at all.

The more I think about it, the more I think the best conclusion is to ask Bella.

It was almost something that was about to be thrown out so I was going to be doing it a favor and myself as well but then I had the chance to think about it because something terrible happened.

I threw on a pink gown with some whites and the result was the hot pink staining the whites and I was not qualified to say that this was not my fault because I was so distracted that this happened.

I knew that the owner would have to make sure that she was going to go ballistic as if I had tried to kill someone.

But I had no other choice other than to deliver her clothes to her and just like I had expected she lost her marbles when she saw the clothes and the state they were in.

I told her that it was an accident and I was trying to control everything so it wasn't going to happen again but she was not listening at all to me.

"Just wait till I tell Grey about this he will…" As she was leaving I saw that desperate times called for similar measures to help the situation.

I threw the boxer to Bella and I saw how she was battling to hide the look of excitement in her eyes that were soon filled with worry.

"How did you get this?"

She asked me and then I told her that I found it in her room. She looked like she was going to faint at the moment I said that then she threw it on the bed.

"You will not be telling Grey about this…" She hissed as if the only reason Grey was tolerating her was just to make sure that we have bitterness against each other but I guess that deep down she is not as blind as she was trying to be and was painfully aware of the situation and she was not listening to her voice at all from the looks of things.

"Then let's make a deal…" I said to her and she didn't respond with anything more than a few bitter looks and I was trying to control myself from slapping her across the face and she was not seeing it at all.

"You do your own laundry and your own petty chores by yourself and I keep your secret…"

I was not even sure what her secret was exactly but it made her scared enough to agree to the deal I made with her and that was more than enough for me. The way I would live would be a little bit more tolerable now for me.

With that thought in my mind, I left not minding the dirty looks that I was getting from her at the moment and I was trying to focus on the future that I had ahead of me.

If only I knew what came next.
