Chapter Thirteen
Chapter 13
The tent was comparted with different resources, that was when he heard the voice of his slave, she was shouting with so much vigor, quickly, he went closer to the tent, the smoke in the tent prevented him from seeing clearly, using his werewolf ability, he saw his slave surrounded by four vampires.
When he walked closer to them, he saw his slave was coughing out quite loudly, almost getting choked by the smoke.
She staggered lightly as she fought with the vampires.
He growled, his growl sounded more like thunder, and he ran, towards the vampire who was about to sink his canines into her flesh.
Aiden smashed the vampire with full force which sent the vampire staggering, as Aiden turned round, he saw his slave was on the ground, and just as the next vampire came using a sword, ready to stab Aiden, Sharriah gave a loud scream, and the whole vampires held their ears in pain, her scream was loud like a siren, loud and high that it affected only the vampires around her.
As she opened her eyes, she saw the four vampires were dead, as if they bleeded to death.
The tent waa quiet, what had she done, how was she able to kill this men only with a scream.
Slolwy her eyes diverted to a figure, who laid six feet away from her, a gasp escaped from her lips, her master laid six feet away from her and he looked weak lying on the ground.
He seemed to be unaffected by her scream, even though she do not know why her scream affected the vampires, but that would be a thought for another time.
She came towards him, bending down slowly, she saw some dark substance growing in his veins, they looked like poison.
Suddenly she saw her master moved his body, holding unto her hands.
A noise was heard in the background, when she looked up, she trembled with fear, she wasn't expecting to see him, but he stood at the door of the tent, the man who bought her friend Margret, whom she had come to know as the vampire king.
Her heart skipped at that moment, the vampire king looked bloody, his mouth was filled with so much blood and then she regretted running away from her Master.
The vampire king ran towards them, ready to attack them, quickly she turned to stare at her master.
"Close your eyes."
She heard her master whispered, she looked confused, but reluctantly she closed her eyes, ready to die, ready to get killed and hoping her Master forgave her in the other realm.
She waited for the pain, expecting to feel her head detached from her body, but what she felt was different, she felt a wind blew right through her body, it came once and then it stopped.
When she opened her eyes, she found her self on a smooth floor and she felt something holding her hands, she turned looking at what held her hands tightly, that was when she realized it was her master's, she gasped, where were they, they supposed to be in the camp, the vampire's tent, and they shouldn't be alive.
As she looked around the room, the room was fixed as if it was made for a king, the marble walls were decorated in a fine way, which left her mesmerized at the beauty, the curtains were weaved with silk, making the room free from the cold.
She saw a fireplace, where some woods were kept, just as she was about freeing her self from her master's grip, her Master held unto her hands tightly, preventing her from leaving, that was when it then dawned on her that her Master was extremely sick, she remembered the poison in his arms, as she lifted his arms up, she saw the poison were moving slow towards his shoulders, without been told what will happen if the poison reached his heart.
With all the strength left in her, she left his grasp, quickly standing up, she saw him shivered as if he had caught a cold yet balls of sweat fell off from his face.
Quickly walking to the fire place, she added more woods into the fire, the woods caught fire immediately which added more warmth to it, she went back again to check on her master, she noticed her master had stopped shivering.
She bent down slowly, trying to support his body on hers so she could at least take him to lie on the huge cushion before her, but she failed miserably on her butt. He was too heavy for her to lift up.
Sighing with defeat, shw stood up, she looked around wondering where her master had brought her.
"Perhaps he had brought her to his castle."
Sharriah whispered to herself.
She decided to check around and seek help from anyone at sight.
As she walked closer she saw a door, a huge iron door, she breathed in slowly, her Master did not bring them to another hole, she thought.
As she made way to the door, she opened the door slightly, she poked her head, all she could see was a long corridor, and lamp at each corner of the walls.
"There must be humans leaving here, ghost cannot light lamps in the middle of the night."
Sharriah whispered to her self again, as she stepped out from the room, she took one lamp from the wall, walking to the direction of where she saw more lights reflecting from.
As she walked, she saw a stairs, she went down the stairs, again she saw another hall, she followed through the long hall, she wondered if this was a lonely castle. She had heard of stories about great kings who live alone in their castle, she hoped her master wasn't one of them.
She stopped walking when she saw a door, no two doors facing her, she stopped in between the two doors, wondering if she should knock at one of the door, it was night already, but yet, someone should have heard her or was she in a lonely house, she decided to brace herself ready to interrupt who so ever was living in the two rooms.
Slowly she knocked carefully on the door, it was as if the owner of the door knew she was there, standing and waiting for her to knock, because just as she had knocked on the door, the door opened with quick speed. Sharriah's eyes widened with fear, a woman stood in front of her, but again she was baffled, as the door opened quickly at first, the woman closed it back with a loud bang.
She stood shocked, what was she going to do, she was about to knock again, when she heard the sound of another door opened; it was the second door, Sharriah turned back, to look at the second door which just got opened but the first door opened back again, Sharriah turned back again, to look at the first door which had previously banged on her face.
'The occupants of these rooms might be insane, they want to make me insane.'
Sharriah thought, she felt divided already with their outrageous behaviors.
