Chapter 33 A Moment To Be Remembered Forever

Chapter 33 A Moment To Be Remembered Forever
Dixon led her to a corner of the hut shielded by a woven screen. “Let’s get you clean…”  He whispered, his voice soothing.

Behind the screen, a large wooden tub sat, steaming water filling the air with the scent of pine and herbs.

His hands went to the cloak wrapped around her, and he slipped the clasp open, letting it fall to the ground.

His gaze swept over her with tenderness, his eyes filled with a deep affection. “Hold still for me,” he muttered.

She stood still, trusting him completely, her vulnerability palpable as he scooped her into his arms and gently placed her into the tub.

The warm herb enveloped her, and a sigh of relief escaped her lips as her muscles relaxed. While he knelt beside the tub, dipping a soft cloth into the water.

"It's okay now…" He murmured, washing away the dirt from her skin, carefully working out the tangles in her hair. "We wash it all away. Just breathe.”

It was a quiet, intimate moment that seemed like a ritual. One Izzy enjoyed, but couldn't wait for it to be over. She wanted something. Something more intimate than that.

When the water was finally clear, and her skin shone clean beneath the steam, she looked up at him. The uncertainty in her eyes was replaced by a flicker of fire, fierce and demanding. She leaned forward, pressing her clean forehead against his shoulder.

He understood the message. “I want more.”

He lifted her out, wrapping her tightly in a huge, soft linen sheet, and carried her back to the bed.

The moment he lowered her, she reached for him, her hand fumbling awkwardly with the leather lacings of his Jerkin.

He chuckled, a low, rough sound, and took over, shedding his tunic  in a swift movement, tossing them aside.

"Patience…" He breathed, but his own movements were urgent now as he discarded the rest of his clothes.

He knelt over her, a shadow in the dim light. He leaned down, and their mouths met. Their kiss instantly deepened, no longer gentle, but a searching, raw plunge into mutual need.

Her back arched off the bed, a soft, breathless sound of pure want escaping her.

“Ouh!”

He shifted, pressing kisses down her throat, toward the curve of her collarbone. He paused there, his breath hot against her skin, pulling back just enough to look into her eyes, which were glazed with a shared, desperate need.

"Izzy…" He whispered, his voice strained, "you're sure? Everything's so new. I don't want to regret this."

She didn't speak. Instead, her clean hand slid down his chest and closed around his dick, a silent, unequivocal answer.

His restraint shattered.

With a ragged groan, he settled between her legs. He eased the tip of his cock against her, then pushed, slowly, carefully. He felt the sharp resistance, the sudden, painful wall.

“Ouhhh!” A sound of pain, sharp and immediate, left her lips, and she tensed violently, instinctively trying to pull away.

He froze, his body rigid, his jaw clenching. He was deep enough to be caught, and the raw sound of her pain instantly killed his lust.

"Shit!" He choked out, his voice thick with immediate regret, his forehead resting against hers. "I'm sorry. I have to stop."

He began to pull back, his muscles shaking with the fight against his own body. But her hands locked onto his hips with surprising, desperate strength, holding him captive.

Her breath hitched in shallow, rapid gasps, and though her eyes were squeezed shut, she shook her head fiercely, pulling him down, into the friction.

"No! Don't. Please…"

The word was torn from her.

“Blast it…” He swore under his breath, a desperate sound of surrender. He couldn't refuse the absolute command in her grip.

He pushed again, a slow, agonizing slide that tore through the final barrier.

She cried out—a small, muffled sound—instantly swallowed as his mouth crushed down onto hers.

He kissed her through the sharp wave of pain, punishingly deep, forcing her to focus on his tongue, the warmth of his need, not the tearing below.

He held perfectly still, waiting for her body to stop fighting, waiting until her ragged gasps softened, until the fierce grip on his hips loosened, transforming into a desperate clasp.

"It's okay now," he whispered against her mouth, a lie that felt like a truth. "Just hold onto me. You're okay."

Then he moved.

He started with slow, shallow thrusts, waiting for her body to welcome him.

A whimper from her throat turned into a moan, a shudder into a desperate, needy arching against his rhythm. The pain was receding, replaced by a growing fire he fanned with every deep, powerful stroke.

He sped up, his body taking over, demanding a pace only a mate could match. Each thrust was a hammer blow of possession and belonging, driving them deeper into the newly forged bond.

Her legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him further, urging him deeper.

She was a tangle of raw, untamed passion beneath him, utterly undone. She didn't have the language for this, only the need for more, more of the scorching fire he was building inside her.

He felt the explosion building inside his core, an urge to spill himself inside his mate, to claim her completely. His vision tunneled, the climax imminent, a crushing wave of pleasure that threatened to overwhelm him.

He braced his hands on the bed, pulled back sharply, and with a guttural grunt, he ripped himself out of her body, his hips still slamming toward her.

He twisted away, clutching himself, his breathing harsh and broken. He worked himself furiously with his hand, staring at the ceiling, his jaw clenched, determined not to soil her.

His relief came with a violent spasm, the cum splattering onto the damp ground beside the bed, a hot, thick mess.

A soft, confused cry left Izzy’s lips, a sound of sudden, bewildered abandonment.

He immediately collapsed beside her, pulling her close, resting his forehead against her shoulder, his heart hammering against her ribs.

"Never," he choked out, his voice raw with spent emotion. "Not the first time. Never."

He held her close, tracing the curve of her spine, a silent promise to make it perfect next time.

“You’re not just a moment to me. You’re everything I knew my heart was waiting for. I'll never take this moment or you for granted.”

She didn't speak again, simply melted into his embrace, her ragged breath slowing with exhaustion.
