Chapter 89 Marked
Chapter 89 Marked
Elena's POV
“Remember that day at the library when we found that scroll and we read about Alaric's line and how I was the fire wolf?”
“Yes I remember,” he said.
“I told you about Ciara but I guess you forgot about her. I wanted to too, but she has stopped Liam, she's always in my head,” I said as I tried to stop my hands from shaking.
“She sends me these dreams where I'm her but at the same time I'm not and then the visions,” I shivered as I remembered everything.
“Elena, talk to me,” Liam strokes my face.
“I need up killing everyone, Liam. You, Clara, Sarah, my sister everyone all because I couldn't control it. This power in me, it has a dark side and I feel sometimes like that day at the coffee store when I thought Ashley was dead.”
He pulled me closer as he hugged me. “Elena, why did you say anything?”
“I just didn't want to make you worried, and I was scared that maybe you wouldn't want this anymore,” I finally admitted.
“I will always want you, Elena, I wanted you when you had no power and I still want you with all your power,” he pulled away and held my face so I was looking into his eyes.
“I will always love you and I trust you, no matter what this power does to you, I know you will always come back to me,” he said.
I cried as my heart filled with love for him. “I'm sorry I hid all this from you.”
“It's okay, I'm sorry too,” he hugged me again.
We stayed there in each other's arms for for a while.
“Let's get some rest,” Liam said as he picked me up with ease and took me to our room.
“Rest Elena, I will take my baby and join you soon,” he said.
I held his hand before he could leave.
“I'm ready,” I said feeling shy now. “I want to be yours completely. But that's only if you want, I understand if—”
He crushed his lips on mine before I could say anything else. I melted into his kiss.
He pulled me closer and grabbed my waist as he kissed me more.
He looked at me and I knew what he wanted to ask so I nodded before he could.
He smiled as started kissing me again and I was lost in the moment.
I groaned as the sun was shining directly into my eyes.
I turned around as I faced Liam's chest. His scent hitting me immediately and almost causing my head to spin.
I opened my eyes and Liam was sound asleep. I began admiring him. I was still so jealous of his long lashes.
My mind went back to last night and I blushed hard.
I traced the mark on Liam's neck, my symbol in him.
It had seven moons intertwined with each other to form a circle. It was so beautiful.
Liam said he was honored to be marked by me and I didn't know what to even say.
There was no way I could stoping loving this man.
I knew his mark on my neck would look even more beautiful.
I had seen it on most pack members but I knew every one was a little bit different, I couldn't wait to get a proper look at mine.
“You can stop admiring me, I'm already yours,” Liam said as he opened his eyes.
“Look who is finally awake,” I said as pinched his arm.
“Well I needed to rest well, it was a long day,” he said and I slapped his arm.
He pushed my hair out of my face.
You are so beautiful
My eyes grew wide in shock.
I can hear you!
He smiled. Of course you can. Now that we have marked each other our connection is clearer than ever.
I opened my mind and reached out to him and immediately I felt a strong sense of love, happiness and pride from him for me.
How could have ever doubted him? I thought.
I really don't know. He smirked.
Hey, stay out of my head.
“Sorry,” he said but I knew he wasn't.
“Liam,”
“Yes Elena,”
“What did you really go out to do yesterday,” I asked, knowing he could feel my curiosity now.
“I wanted to gather more information about your power, we don't know much about itand I wanted to know what exactly Lady Grey might need you for,”he said.
I nodded. “And your friend, he has answers? He can help?”
“Yes, Frank might not look like it but he's very old, ancient even,” he said trying to hold back his laugh. I could tell he liked Frank a lot.
“So I was hoping he could help us get any information about you, I couldn't do it by myself, I don't want to raise questions especially now that the elders have finally left us alone.”
I nodded, understanding everything now.
“I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just didn't want you to worry,” he said.
“It's fine, I know you and I trust you to have my back,” I said.
“So what happened last night with you and the young vampire?” he asked and I could feel a ping of jealousy coming from him.
“Are you jealous?” I laughed.
“No! He's a boy, how could I be jealous when you are mine,” he scoffed.
“Sure,” I said but I wasn't buying it. “Are I finally came back to my senses after everything with Ciara, he was just standing there and that spooked me out at first but I realized that he didn't want to harm me.” I said.
Liam nodded.
“But the strangest thing was that, he said he felt me, like he was drawn to me,”. I said remembering his exact words. “I didn't know what he meant by that and he didn't explain,”
“Interesting,” Liam said.
“Do you know something?” I stared at him suspiciously.
“No, not that's it's important,” he said.
“Okay,” I wrapped myself around him as I breathed in his scent, sandalwood. He smelled like home.
“Liam,”
“Yes,”
“Can we go home today? I'm starting to miss everyone,”
“Sure Elena, for you anything,” he said as he kissed me and wrapped me in his arms tighter.
I had never been more happier.
