Xena shook her head as she remembered Seth's defending her earlier through Zimon and the way she had sniffed his scent. the rough hand of Seth as they shake hands. Makes her feel like flying. Butterflies in her stomach begin wilder.

Seth has calm, smoky eyes. His voice sounded appealing, yet it was rather cryptic. like the guy the vocalist in the band Xena enjoys listening to.

Xena couldn't believe that she could like a guy instantly.

Xena couldn't help but smile, despite the fact that there was a lot going on at school that day.

Seth's lovely face had even wiped away the strange creature Xena had seen.

Seth's presence had the ability to make her day better.

When Xena returns to their classroom after that encounter, she expects to see Seth, but instead finds her classmates chatting in class about how the school's jerk-son owner was sent to the hospital. Seth was not to be found, either.

Xena lifted her head, then wrinkled her brows. The thoughts of a gloomy path Xena was seeing ahead disappeared.

After Seth brought her to the rooftop, he ran down the stairs, leaving her stunned.

She was heading back to my home when Noah, her friend and one of the sons of the owner of the house that her family was renting, came into view.

"Where is your twin jerk brother?"

Liam is a serious type of guy, and it's hard to get close to him. Noah was the kind and jolly one, so they clicked together as friends.

"He was just behind us." "Don't look at him too much; he might scold us again."

Noah spoke to Xena in quiet tones. Xena smiles because, based on Noah's voice, he seems to be scared that his brother may get angry again.

"You seem worried."

Xena chuckles, then shakes her head. As she turned around, she found out that Liam was just a few steps away.

"Don't worry, I am your backup." Xena chuckle

They both chuckle, even though they know that Liam would surely be annoyed again by the way they act.

"So what good has happened to you again?"

Noah asked once again. Xena should remember once again what happened earlier.

"Nothing; it's just that I'm happy."

Xena stated. Noah was Xena's only friend when she first came to La Carolina, despite the fact that he was a boy.

Noah became Xena's immediate best friend. He was not just gregarious but also overly polite, unlike Liam. Noah is well-versed in many cases.

"I think I started to love this town."

"I think I know what the reason is now... "Is it the guy?"

Noah and Xena both burst out laughing.

"So that's why you didn't pick up your phone because you've been very busy with that man, huh?"

Liam suddenly interrupts. Xena's focus turned to him.

Xena could see that Liam was annoyed in certain ways.

Liam's forehead furrowed, and his little eyes gleamed, though he wasn't looking directly at Xena. She knows those glares were aimed squarely at her.

"You called me?"

Xena was surprised. Liam never bothered to call or text her. Xena had no idea he had her phone number.

"really? "You have my number?"

Xena looks at Noah, and then her friend just shrugs.

Noah was the only one who called and messaged her around for the whole summer.

Xena quickly grasped the zipper on her bag to unzip it. looked for her phone.

"Why do you call me?"

"Sorry to burst your bubble. However, I just called you because your dad was concerned about you. So, when it came time to go home, he asked Noah and me to walk with you.

While Xena was listening to Liam, she quickly searched for her phone inside her bag.

But before Xena could grab her phone, she was startled and tossed her bag because she saw something in it.

"What was he doing in my bag?"

Xena's not sure what her reaction was, but Liam immediately hugged Xena from behind while covering Xena's eyes. as if he could hear the strange creature's voice, which sounds as if it's coming from deep underneath.

Every hair on Xena's body rises up because of the terrible voice.

"What was wrong?"

Noah raised his hands while looking around as though to protect Xena from whoever she was afraid of.

"Nothing, it's just that I think I saw a cockroach in my bag."

Xena seems to be asking yet, smiling. She didn't show what she truly saw.

"It was just a cockroach."

Xena says it's final. Although Liam could see through Xena's eyes, she was lying.

After Xena explained, a man came out of nowhere. He was a little older, but he was still a handsome man. His sparkling blue eyes were smiling, but Xena could see he was serious.

"Who is that man?"

Xena asks in whispers.

The new guy was staring at Xena like she had done something wrong.

Xena was worried because she was afraid that if she did something wrong, the guy's massive bulk would crash into her and crush her. She saw the guy pick up the creature in his hand with her own eyes.

"What the heck?"

The Monster shouted in pain "ahhh! "Please don't kill me!"

Xena assumes this twin was unaware of the man's actions. as if nothing had occurred. The guy picked up the bag and gave it back to Xena.

As the monster burned and faded away, Xena kept her gaze fixed on the guy, but she didn't try to look at the monster slowly fading.

Xena thought the guy was in his early twenties since he was bigger and older than the twin, but the guy was still gorgeous.

The man's sex appeal was enhanced by his shoulder-length red hair.

"Thank you."

Xena whispered, but Liam was the one who took the bag.

"Let's go,"

Liam said as he took Xena's hand. Liam held Xena's hand tightly in his.

"You don't have to hold my hand if you want to squeeze it that tightly." "You seem angry over nothing."

Xena remembers Liam telling her that he had called her but had not received a response.

"You're still shaking," Liam said.

Xena turned her eyes to the guy who had left instead of looking back at Liam's angry face, and she noticed that the guy was glancing at them as well. like he was curious about something.

"Stop staring at a person we don't know."

Liam stated. He seemed to be much more agitated than before.

"Get off of Xena; you hurt her if you didn't notice." as if you really care for her." Noah said

Liam opens his mouth, yet closes it back. It seems he wanted to say something but stopped himself anyway.

Xena's confused mind was added to by Liam 's behavior.
