Chapter 30

Ace wasn't stupid, even if he was surprised by the attack. Ace managed to dodge deftly, but he wasn't completely safe. The silver spear missed Ace's arm, instantly blood flowed from his hand.

Theresia shook her head, then said, "No, let's go home. Don't talk too much."

After the three of them entered, Lilia sauntered off to the kitchen to get a drink. He felt his throat dry, from screaming too loudly for Theresia's name earlier. While Ace and Theresia remained in the living room.

"Sit here, Ace. I will treat your wound," said Theresia pulling Ace to sit beside her.

Ace smiled, she happily complied. After that Theresia started to check Ace's wounds. The man couldn't take his eyes off Theresia's face.

"Beautiful," Ace muttered still with his gaze fixed on the beautiful woman in front of him.

Theresia glanced at Ace, a lazy look she gave him. Then Theresia got up from her seat, saying, "I'll be right back, you just sit down and don't go anywhere."

Ace nodded obediently like a child, he looked at the wound that was still wrapped in cloth. It still hurts, but he's also happy that because of the wound he can enjoy more time with Theresia.

"I'm sincerely hurt, as long as I stay close to you, Theresia." Ace said something so ridiculous it was even possible for Smith to laugh when he heard it.

On the other hand, Theresia went to meet Lilia in the kitchen. He planned to have Lilia make medicinal potions with his magic, in the past at the magic academy they were taught to make medicinal herbs that can heal wounds quickly.

"Lilia, can you make medicinal herbs for Ace?" asked Theresia lowering her voice slightly, afraid that Ace would hear it.

Lilia frowned, placing the glass she had just used on the table. Then he said, "What for? Wouldn't it be good if he died?"

Theresia suddenly hit Lilia's arm violently, that's how Lilia is when she's angry or upset with others.

"Don't be like that, Lilia. After all, she saved me earlier," said Theresia.

Lilia folded her arms over her chest. "What about me? Did you forget that I came looking for you," he said with a sour face.

"That's not what I meant, Lilia. Come on, make some medicinal herbs for Ace," Theresia said a little forcefully, she pulled Lilia and pushed her to Hurry up and make the medicine.

Lilia chuckles in annoyance, even though it's late at night. But he couldn't refuse Theresia's request, finally he got up from his seat saying, "Yes, fine. I will make the potion, are you satisfied?"

"What potion?" A deep voice suddenly sounded, who else if not Ace who is now standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

The two women suddenly turned to look at Ace, then looked at each other as if to say 'how is this?'. Theresia doesn't want Ace to know that she is a magician, according to her promise before moving on. If everyone found out they were a magician, then things would get complicated right?
