SPECIAL CHAPTER: A REV DYLAN POV

“Rein, what’s our problem?” I followed my wife inside our room and tried to stop her by the arm but she just shrugged me off and went straight to the bathroom. She locked the door so I knocked outside. She ignored me. “Hon.”

She answered me with silence.

“Love. Sweetheart. Honeybunch. Cookie. Babe. Darling. Sugar. Pie. Strawberry. Watermelon.”

I know she must find it funny because I already used all the endearment I can think of. Honestly, I am confused with Rein’s behavior recently. She’s always irritable. Is it possible that she is losing her interest on me already? I felt anxious at the thought. She’s been cold to me lately, but I wish she’s not losing interest.

“Just go away, Rev Dylan Montenegro! Leave me alone!” she shouted from behind the door.

“Mrs. Rein Montenegro, let’s talk about it. Why are you being like this?” I plead.

“I don’t know, you’re too oblivious!”

I stepped back. Me? Oblivious?

I stopped to think. She is still annoyed with me even though I already did what she wanted.

“C’mon, love, I already did what you wanted me to do, right? You wanted me to talk to Jean and have a proper closure, I did.”

“I SAID TALK TO HER. I DID NOT SAY TO TAKE HER OUT ON A DATE!” she sounded furious. I blinked twice. Is that our problem?

“Rein, it’s not a date. Why would I date her?”

“Well, you tell me. Maybe you still have lingering feelings for her!”

“Please open the door, love. Let’s talk face to face.”

She did not answer, so I coaxed her. She’s jealous. She’s acting like this only because she’s jealous. It means she still loves me. I can’t help smiling.

After a while, the door cracked slightly, and I pushed it carefully to completely open it. I was greeted with a frowning face.

I went to her and caught her face with my hands. Even with all those irritation creasing her face, she’s still the most beautiful woman in my eyes.

And she’s mine.

And she’s jealous mad.

Shit.

“Rein, sweetheart, I love you,” I whispered as I look into her clouded eyes. Her eyes are brimming with unshed tears, and it tears at my heart. I don’t like seeing her crying.

Even now, almost a year after our wedding, I still haven’t fully grasped the fact that she really married me. And from time to time, I still worry that she might find someone else and leave me again.

Despite the fact that she’s been my bestfriend for many years, I’m still having difficulty dealing with her. You’d think it would be a cinch, but being a bestfriend is one thing. I realized that it’s harder to deal with her now that she’s my woman. No, scratch that. MY WIFE.

“I hate you,” she hissed.

“Don’t say that, baby. That wounds me,” I murmured against her cheek. “Love, I didn’t date her. I just talked to her, like you said. I just did what you wanted,” I explained.

“Why did you have to bring her to that fancy restaurant?!” she almost yelled, pushed me away and dashed back to our room.

I followed her and hugged her from behind.

“Because we needed a place where we could talk properly. It’s not a date. Don’t call it that. You’re the only woman I want to date.”

“You could have talked to her somewhere else!”

“Where? In her place? That would be worse, right? And besides, I owed her a treat because I also asked for a favor.”

“What favor?” she asked, wary.

I mentally slapped myself.

“It’s.. confidential for now.”

“Wow!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with sarcasm. “Now you’re talking about confidential things with her. And I am supposed to be your wife.”

“It’s not what you think it is,” I tried to explain. Shit, me and my big mouth.

“Then, what is it?” she probed, accusation in her voice.

“Baby, not now. Not yet.”

“Then we have nothing to talk about! Leave me alone!” she pushed me aside and lied on the bed, her back turned towards me. I can hear her crying.

I stared at her back, unable to decide what to do. What did I do to warrant this reaction? She asked me to talk to Jean so that I can properly ask for forgiveness, and in a way, help her move on. I did even though I thought it was no longer necessary. And then, there’s our upcoming anniversary, and I thought I’ll ask for Jean’s help to prepare a surprise for Rein.

“Do you want her back?” her faint, scared voice cut through my thoughts.

“What? NO!” I immediately climbed up the bed and touched her shoulder. They are now rocking as I hear her sobs. “Rein, sweetheart, why would I want her back? I only want you. Baby please, I love you so much. I will not exchange you for anything or anyone in this world.”

I lied beside her and embraced her but she pushed my arms. I closed my eyes tightly and made a decision.

“Okay, I’ll tell you what I talked to her about,” I said. It doesn’t matter anymore if I blow my surprise. What’s the surprise for if she is mad at me?

She stopped crying and stilled, obviously tensed about what I’m going to say. She’s obviously expecting the ugliest thing she can think of.

“I was planning on a surprise for you for our anniversary. I just asked for her help.”

There. I said it. I hope we’re fine now?

She suddenly sat up and turned to me, her eyes blazing in anger. I was taken aback at her reaction.

“You liar!”

“What? Rein, I’m telling the truth,” I was confused, running my fingers through my hair in frustration as I sit up, too.

“You pretend to ask for her help, but you just want to spend time with her! You did that before, remember? You kept on pretending to ask me for help in surprising her. Now you’re doing it again! Only, it’s the other way around this time!” she accused.

Honestly, where is this coming from? I admit I did that when we were in college. I kept asking her to help me set up plans for Jean, but the truth is I just wanted to be with Rein.

But it’s only because I loved Rein even then. I don’t love Jean and I don’t have any hidden motive for asking her help.

Shit. Why is something this petty going out of hand?

“Rein, why are you making this difficult for both of us?” I asked calmly.

She smiled sarcastically.

“Now, I’m making it difficult for you. Fine! Do what you want. Spend your time with her as much as you like!” she stood up and marched outside the room, slamming the door behind her. I rubbed my hands on my face, groaning in frustration.

I spread my body on the bed and covered my eyes with my arm. I stayed still for a while, wracking my brain for a way to make things right.

“Rev!”

I jumped up when my mother burst into the room.

“Ma.”

“What did you do to Rein? Why is she crying??”

I looked at her helplessly.

“I don’t know. I don’t understand her. She’s being mad at me for nothing.”

“She can’t be mad at you for nothing!” Mama snapped at me in irritation. Ugh, they really make me out to be the antagonist.

“But, Ma, I really don’t understand why she’s mad. She asked me to talk to Jean so that we can have a proper closure. When I did, she got mad. And she’s mad like hell just because I asked Jean to help me plan a surprise for her on our anniversary.”

“Now, that’s why. Who won’t get mad if your husband went into a date with his ex? And why did you have to ask favor from Jean, I am here,” Mama’s voice sounds upset.

“Ugh, not you, too, Ma. Please!”

I can hardly keep up with one jealous woman. Make that two and I’ll go nuts.

“Ma, I will never cheat on Rein. I love her!” I insisted.

“Granted you do. But what I’m saying is, a woman is naturally jealous of her man’s ex. You should have been a bit more sensitive.”

I rubbed my face.

“Then what should I do? Where is she?”

“She went to the guest room. I think she’s planning on sleeping there.”

“What? No. I’ll just sleep in another room if she didn’t want to sleep beside me.”

“Let her be for now. She’s at the height of her emotion. Just carry her back her when she’s already asleep.”

I sighed and nodded.

“The two of you should talk calmly about it tomorrow. Explain everything to her and say you’re sorry.”

“But I didn’t really do anything wrong,” I protested.

“So you prefer that you’re not in good terms?” she raised an eyebrow.

“No, of course not,” I answered promptly. “Okay, I’ll say sorry. I’ve been insensitive.”

“Good,” Mama answered and left me. I took a deep breath and shake my head.

Women. Will I ever really understand them?

I let half an hour pass before looking for Rein. I found her in the farthest room, curled like a ball while sleeping. She did not even bother to cover herself with a blanket even though she’s shivering from cold.

It’s like she’s punishing me by neglecting herself.

I scooped her in my arms and gently lift her up, then I carefully brought her back to our room. She whimpered when I laid her on our bed and my heart constricted at the sound.

Even though I know there is nothing she should be upset about, or be jealous about, the fact that she’s hurting because of those jealous thoughts squeezes my heart painfully.

I pulled the cover up her waist and watched her tear-stained sleeping face. I brushed aside several strands of hair on her face.

“I love you, Mrs. Montenegro. You should not worry about anything, you’re the only one I will ever love,” I murmured to her as if she would hear me.

I leaned in and kissed her on her forehead, before my lips lingered over hers. I wanted to claim them, those luscious lips I love kissing.

I didn’t want to wake her up, so I settled for a smack and stretched beside her, cradling her in my arms. I fell asleep embracing her.

When I opened my eyes in the morning, a hysterical Rein met my sight.

“Go away!” she pushed me hard.

“Good morning, too, sweetheart,” I smiled cheerfully, trying to dispel the early morning tension.

“Why did you sleep beside me?! I don’t want to see your face! I don’t want your smell!” her face is red in irritation and I don’t understand what’s gotten into her?

‘Good morning to you, too, Rev.’ I thought to myself.

Rein quickly left the bed.

“Don’t get near me, if you don’t want me to leave you!” she warned before entering the bathroom.

Okay. It’s really gotten out of hand. What do I do?

She came out of the bathroom after taking a shower.

“What are you still doing here? Do you really want me to leave?” her face is contorted with distaste.

“No, love. I won’t come near you, alright,” I raised my hands, telling her that I will not go anywhere near.

“I said I don’t want to see your face!” she screamed.

“But, Rein.. please, sweetheart, let’s talk it out,” I plead. She ignored me and turned back, rummaging through our walk in closet. She got dressed while I watched her longingly. I wanted to run my fingers on her skin. I wanted to touch her, embrace her, kiss her senseless.

Damn it. I’m getting turned on, but I can’t hope for that now, can I?

After getting dressed, she went in front of her vanity mirror and started combing her hair. Oh, this is torture.

“Don’t you love me, anymore?” I asked, crossing my fingers and hoping she’ll assure me that she loves me.

She froze and stared at me from the reflection. Then she slammed her hair brush on the counter, abandoning her hair and stood up abruptly.

With big strides, she almost ran to the door and left the room.

I blinked.

She didn’t answer me. I bit my lip, my unease and fear growing by the minute.

No. She loves me. Rein does.

I stood up to look for her, and when I can’t find her, I looked for my mother. I need her help.

Her door is slightly open, and I started to knock when I heard someone crying. I froze.

“Shh.. calm down, dear. What’s the problem? You know you can tell me,” it was my mother’s soothing voice.

“I don’t know, Ma. I am irritated just looking at his face, and I know I’m being irrational. But I can’t stop my irritation. I can’t stop myself, I want to hit him whenever I see him. I don’t even want to smell him.”

“Don’t you love him anymore?”

I held my breath, waiting for the answer eagerly.

“I LOVE HIM!” she exclaimed. “Of course I still love him, Ma. That’s why I don’t know why I’m being like this. I get jealous irrationally. I get pissed just looking at him. But I still want him to woo me. But when he does, it irritates me. I don’t know. I don’t know why I am being like this. Ma, what will I do with myself? I don’t want to ruin our marriage.”

I smiled at what I heard and exhaled in relief.

That’s good. She’s just having her mood swing. I can endure that until her sour mood passes.

“Okay, let’s go out, Rein. I think I know what you can do. Change your clothes and we will go somewhere.”

“Where are we going Mama?”

“You’ll find out.”

I kept my distance from the door before Rein could come out of it and pretended that I just arrived.

“Love..” I called her.

She glared at me and passed me by. I shrugged my shoulders and smiled to myself.

“I love you,” I called out even though I know she won’t even answer me. I was surprised when she stopped from opening the door and looked at me, hesitating.

She swallowed and forced a smile.

“I.. I love you, too,” she said and quickly went inside our room. I smiled broadly. That’s all I needed to hear.

It felt like the first time I heard her say that she loves me. I can’t help but feel this lightheaded giddiness and I can’t wipe my goofy grin off my face.

When Rein and Mama left, I called Jean.

“Rev,” she greeted me. “What time are we meeting today?”

“Ahm.. Jean, I’m sorry that I wasted your time. Mama is jealous because I asked help from you and not her, so to make it up to her, maybe I should not bother you with this anymore. I’ll just engage her help, instead. I’m really sorry.”

“I-Is that so..?” she went silent for a few seconds.

“Jean..?”

“Yeah. T-That’s fine. Okay Rev. Good luck on your anniversary project. I’m sure Rein will be very happy.”

“I hope so. And Jean..”

“Yes?”

“Thank you. You’re the most understanding person I’ve ever known.”

“Hmm.. Wow, at least in that aspect, you consider me the ‘most’,” she laughed.

I joined her in laughing.

“I was just saying that. My mother and wife might get jealous.”

“Hahaha! Rev, I didn’t know you can be easily dominated?”

I grinned.

“Of course not. I just don’t want her upset. I love her too much to make her feel inferior to anyone.”

“Wow, now I believe that you are a really sweet guy. Just that, your sweetness focuses only to one person,” she teased. I just laughed it off again.

“Take care of yourself, Jean. Good bye.”

“Good bye, Rev.”

------

Rein was quiet when they returned. I wanted to ask her about her day, but she wouldn’t meet my eyes. Even Mama seems to avoid me, and I’m getting more curious.

“Ma,” I called her when I saw her sitting alone on the bench in our garden.

“Yes, son?”

“So, will you help me prepare my dinner date with my wife?”

“Sure!” her eyes lit up and she almost jumped out of her seat.

“I need you to take care of the decoration, perhaps?”

“Alright. When do I work on it?” she asked excitedly.

“Here,” I handed her a paper with an address. “I will ask our friends to keep Rein busy tomorrow while we work on it together.”

The truth is I already talked to Noelle and Rina. We’ve reserved their spa and beauty salon appointments. They will also go shopping, under the pretense that Noelle is the one who needs it.

I hope Rein’s mood improves tomorrow.

Rein was lying on the bed when I entered the room.

“Are you asleep?” I asked because she was not moving. “You still don’t want to see me? Are you still mad at me?”

She remained silent.

“Okay, I will just sleep in the other room,” I stood up to kiss her but she hooked her arms on my neck, surprising me.

“S-Sleep here. Just put some distance, and don’t mind me even if I turn my back on you. I just need some.. I just..”

“It’s okay. You don’t have to explain. I know you have your moments. I love you. I am just here. On the other side of the bed,” I told her in a light tone. I don’t want her to feel bad and heavy. “I love you.”

“I love you, too, Rev.”

“That’s all I needed to hear, sweetheart. Sleep.”

“Good night.”

I gently climbed up the bed, making sure we have distance between us.

This will be a difficult night, but I can endure this for her. I fell asleep in no time.

I woke up early the following morning to avoid having her see me when she wakes up. I left for work earlier than usual. The truth is, I’m meeting my mother later so that we can work on the decorations.

By lunch time, I received a message from Noelle.

[Rev! Your wife’s too difficult! She’s so grouchy! We ask her what she likes, she keeps on snapping at us. Ugh, I think she’s releasing all her irritation on you. Did you greet her today?]

[N-Nope.]

[Hmpft! That must be why she’s so grumpy. She must have thought you forgot.]

[Oh! I’ll send text her. I’m sorry, Noelle. Please bear with my wife for a little more time.]

[It’s okay, she’s my friend afterall. I can endure her. But please text her or she might cry any minute now.]

[Okay, okay.]

After exchanging messages with Noelle, I sent Rein a text message.

[Hi my beloved. How’s your day? Happy first anniversary, love. I love you. Let’s have more years to come, alright? :)]

She did not respond. Ugh.

I spent the afternoon a bit distracted. She really did not text me.

By five in the afternoon, I couldn’t contain my anxiety and called Noelle.

“How’s her mood?”

“She’s a little better. We’re in a salon now, having make over. Are you excited?”

“Yep.”

“Tss.. It’s not your wedding day anymore,” Noelle teased.

“I’m just excited, what’s wrong with that! You go and get a husband and you’ll understand what I am feeling right now!”

“Ugh, no thank you! I don’t like the headache.”

“You don’t know what you’re missing, Noelle. Anyway, I am going to get ready now. We’re done with the preparations here and I am already sweaty. I need a quick shower.”

“We’ll bring her there in an hour max.”

“Alright. I will look forward to it.”

When I dropped the call, I heard my mother call me.

“Everything’s done here, so I will leave you now. You sure you don’t need any crew here?”

“No, Ma. I’ll take care of everything. I want to keep my wife to myself tonight. You know,” I winked.

“Okay, you don’t have to go on with the details. Bye, son. Have a great night with your wife,” she grinned at me before she kissed me and left.

“Thanks, Ma!”

“No problem, son!” she waved without looking back.

I fumbled with the buttons of my polo while heading to the bathroom. I cleaned myself and chose what to wear. It felt like the first time going on a date with her. And I’m so excited I almost can’t contain it, I’m grinning from ear to ear.

My instruction to Noelle is to bring Rein here in the pretense that they will have dinner. Then they will make a discreet exit. Some staff are still here to pose as waiters but they will leave one by one when everything is in place.

And that’s when I would appear.

[Rev, we’re inside] Noelle said through a message.

[Okay. Thank you Noelle. You can slip away now.]

[Aye aye captain!]

After a couple of minute, Noelle sent me a message again.

[Exodus successful. Your turn. Good luck and enjoy!]

[Thanks! I owe you and Rina a lot. Will return the favor someday.]

[No worries.]

I smiled to myself and put the phone back inside my pocket. I picked up the guitar on the bed and went out of the room, careful to keep out of Rein’s sight.

I looked at the sea and smiled when I saw the clear evening sky. Then I pressed few dials and the place I’m standing in started moving.

We’re in a yacht. Rein and I alone.

And we’re heading out into the sea, where we will spend the night together.

I set the engines on automatic mode and went to where Rein is.

I looked at her from behind a curtain.

She’s sipping her wine, looking around, probably wondering what’s keeping Noelle and Rina so long.

The meal is already served in front of her. She did not need to order because I already instructed the staff to serve as soon as Rein is seated. And then they left afterwards.

Slowly, I walked towards her while strumming my guitar.

She swiveled abruptly and stood up when she saw me.

“Rev!”

“Hi wife. Happy anniversary.”

I gave her a gentle smile and continued with playing some music.

She’s looking at me strangely once I am in front of her.

“W-Where are Rina and Noelle?”

“They already left. It’s just us, two, now,” I informed her. She gasped. “I kidnapped you, wife. And I plan on doing many things to you tonight,” I winked at her and she blushed. I love it when she blushes. She looks lovelier.

“What’s this all about?”

“Hmm.. A dinner date with my wife, of course.”

“In a yacht?”

“Yeah, why not? I’m a millionaire, afterall.”

She shot me a pointed look and let her eyes roam around, admiring the view. There are small bulbs scattered around the place, creating a romantic ambiance. There are also rose petals scattered on the floor. Balloons hang from the ceiling.

“This looks.. familiar..” she murmured.

“Yeah. Looks like the things we used to prep together when we were in college? I cherished those moments. The moments you were with me.”

She looked down and bit her lips.

“Yeah, preparing something like this for your then girlfriend, Jean.”

“Nope. Preparing something like this so I can spend time with you,” I corrected.

“Hmm.. and you spent time with her preparing this?” jealousy is written all over her face.

I smiled with assurance.

“Nope. Mam helped me prepare this. I don’t want you to get jealous of anyone, Rein. You’re the only one I love.”

She pouted. “Really?”

“Of course, sweetheart.”

“I think this is kinda cheesy. Like, straight from a teenage romantic drama,” she commented while assessing the decorations.

“It’s been my frustration since we were in college. I’ve always wanted to prepare something like this for you then. But I couldn’t. So let me do this, please.”

She smiled. “Okay.”

“Let’s eat?”

She agreed and I filled her plate with food. Then I poured wine in our glasses.

“Hmm.. tastes good,” she commented. “Their food is delicious.”

“I.. I cooked it,” I said. Her eyes went round.

“Seriously?!”

I nodded.

“Oh! You were here the whole day?”

I nodded again. She bit her lip and gave me an embarrassed look.

“And I was cursing you the whole day,” she admitted.

“Because you thought I forgot today?”

“Because I thought you didn’t care about today.”

I shook my head and smiled.

“Now you know better.”

She nodded and gingerly smiled at me.

“I’m sorry about being unreasonable.”

“Forgiven, love.”

After eating, I asked her to stand up.

“Where are we going?”

“I have a gift for you. I want you to see it.”

I extended my hand to her and she took it. I led her towards one side of the boat.

“Uhmm.. What’s that?” she eyed the jet-ski.

“That’s a jet-ski, darling.”

“I know, but what’s that for?”

“We will ride that.”

“Y-You know how to drive that?” she looked at me suspiciously.

I laughed. “You have very little faith on me, my love. Come here, trust me. I won’t put you in any harm.”

She swallowed but accepted my hand. I helped her to the jet-ski. A moment after, we are skiing away from the yacht. Then I turned it around and killed the engine.

“What now?” she asked in confusion.

“This is my gift for you,” I told her.

“Uhm.. Skiing? Or the jet-ski?”

I turned to look at her and held her face, gently turning it towards the yacht.

She gasped. Across the side of the yacht is a phrase in big bold letters:

REINA, Queen of My World

“Oh. My. Gosh.”

I felt her arms tightening around my waist and I smiled broadly. She liked it.

“I love it. Oh gosh, I love it, Rev!”

“I’m glad you do, sweet. I love you.”

“I love you, too. Oh! The perks of marrying a millionaire!” she teased and laughed.

“At least kiss me to show your gratitude, Mrs. Montenegro!” I feigned a disgruntled expression.

She giggled and give me a loud smack on my cheek.

“That will do for now. But I will have to claim the lips later,” I said. “And more.”

“And more..” she whispered, her voice full of promise.

I quickly restarted the engine and headed back to the yacht. I can’t wait to claim her ‘more’.

“Excited, husband?” she teased once we’re inside the cabin.

I just grinned and took off the coat I achingly put on with care earlier. I almost tore my shirt off just to be quickly rid of every piece of cloth in my body.

“Whoa!” she exclaimed.

“It’s your fault, Reina! You were ignoring me for the past two nights.”

She giggled. I grinned and pulled her face and crushed her lips with my own. I want to drink her. All of her.

“Whoa, wait wait!” she stopped me. My forehead creased.

“What, babe? You’re still upset with me?” I asked, worried.

“Nope. I also have a gift for you.”

“What’s that?”

She rummaged in her purse and took out a small envelop.

“Open it.”

I glanced at her first. Her face is flushed with excitement and eagerness to see my reaction. I slowly pry the envelop open and pulled out a sheet of paper.

She watched me with anticipation, biting the corner of her lip as she did.

I open the folded paper and frowned when I saw the letter head. It’s a medical document.

No.

It’s a pregnancy test result!

My eyes grew wide as I looked at her. My eyes holding the silent questions that I can’t bring myself to ask as emotions filled my heart.

“Mama accompanied me to OB-Gyne yesterday. She said I was acting like someone who’s in the early stage of pregnancy because of my mood swings.”

“Y-You’re pregnant! I’m going to be a Daddy!” I almost shouted in happiness. I grabbed her and lifted her up, laughing. She giggled.

“You’re over acting, Sir,” she said when I put her down.

“I’m not over acting!” I protested.

“Uhm.. here’s a bit of a bad news,” she said and chewed her lip.

I stopped and stared at her.

“Is there.. any complication in you pregnancy?” I asked nervously.

“No, no! it’s not that. It’s just that.. I think I’ve developed a temporary aversion to you because of my pregnancy.. I just.. get irritated with you out of nowhere and for no reason.”

“Oh!” I sighed in relief. “It’s okay, baby. I can endure that. So what if you keep on kicking me out of our room every night, and what’s it if you will make me your slave in the nine months that you will carry our baby in you abdomen.”

“That’s too much. Mama said this is just a phase. Maybe after a month, this weird behavior will already subside.”

“Uhmm.. how about tonight? You don’t feel any particular repulsion for my presence?”

“I’m.. actually, I really want you out of my sight right this very moment,” she grimaced. My face fell.

Oh, my plans for a steamy night!

“But.. But.. can’t we put a temporary restraining order to your weird behavior? Just for tonight?”

She smiled.

“Don’t worry, my love for you overrules my repulsion tonight.”

My eyes lit up.

“I will endure your face,” she added.

“Ouchie.”

She giggled. I gently guided her on the bed.

“In short, TRO is in effect tonight. I better make the most of this evening, because I just might not get laid in the next few months.”

She giggled.

“Then, why don’t you start with what you wanted to do?”

“I want to kiss you. And take you. Again and again.”

“Hmm.. sounds like a promising night,” she looked at me seductively and trailed her fingers on my naked torso.

I followed her on bed and pushed her down, claiming her lips once more.

“Uhmm.. Rev..?”

“Hmm..?” I continued nuzzling her neck.

“I love you.”

“I love you, too, Rein. So much more than you probably think,” I answered as I continuously explore her body with my lips, leaving wet kisses all over it.

“Uhmm.. Rev..?” she called again.

“Yes, sweetheart?”

There was a moment of silence.

“Uhmm.. Can we..?”

“What is it?”

“Can we cover your face?”

“MRS. REINA MONTENEGRO!”

In that same moment, all the lights turned off.

I forgot, the power saving feature of the yacht was on!
