Chapter 133: William, Amelia Really Knows How to Have Fun!

Chapter 133: William, Amelia Really Know How to Have Fun!

William remembered that he had promised Isabella at noon that they would have dinner together.

So he replied, "I'll come later. I need to have dinner with Isabella."

Harold responded quickly: "Alright, alright, Isabella comes first. I've booked a private room at Moonlight Bar waiting for you. First day of divorce, cheer up!"

"Okay," William replied.

But after putting down his phone, another thought popped into his mind.

First day of divorce—what was Amelia doing?

William checked the time.

Right now, Amelia should be picking up Briar from kindergarten.

Then she'd take Briar back to her rented place and cook dinner for her.

What would they eat?

Without thinking, William pressed the intercom. Rhys walked in.

"Mr. Brown," Rhys said respectfully.

"Look into the collaboration terms for Cinnamoroll merchandise and buy some products to study," William said calmly, tapping his fingers on the desk.

Rhys opened his mouth but swallowed his words, only saying, "Yes."

"Then, after you've studied them, send them to the kindergarten—the one where Briar is," William said. "Got it?"

"Got it, Mr. Brown. Making the most of it by giving the merchandise to all the kids at the kindergarten is the best approach," Rhys said.

Only then did William nod.

Briar wouldn't accept anything from him, so if he wanted to give her something, this was the only way.

Even now, William still felt a bit dazed.

Just like that, they were divorced.

He had thought Amelia would cry and make a scene, or refuse to divorce, and it would take several rounds of back-and-forth before it was finalized.

He scrolled through his phone looking for his chat with Amelia, but the last message was still the ones he'd sent her that she never replied to.

He remembered last night when he asked if she loved him, and she answered "yes."

So was she learning to be sensible, or was she being stubborn?

...

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Amelia had already picked up Briar and brought her home.

The two were having dinner.

When Isabella went to find William for dinner, Amelia was giving Briar a bath.

When Isabella and William sat down at the restaurant, Amelia finished getting Briar ready, carried her to the car, and drove her to the location.

Then Amelia drove the car back to park it and took a taxi to Moonlight Bar.

She might drink a little tonight, so driving wouldn't be convenient.

Because she had to take care of the child, Amelia arrived a bit late.

When Amelia pushed open the door, Mia was singing hysterically.

This actually startled Amelia.

Dash was frowning on the side, looking at Mia helplessly.

"Amelia, you're here!" Mia saw Amelia. She stopped and walked over with a big smile.

She even pushed a few good-looking guys Amelia didn't know toward her.

"I got these handsome guys for you," Mia said with a smile.

Amelia was speechless.

Jeffrey on the side was also speechless.

"Mia..." Before Amelia could say anything, Mia had already pinched her.

"I thought Dash wasn't coming," Mia said in a low voice. "I heard he had night shift, but I didn't expect him to switch shifts with a colleague. Amelia, help me out, or Dash is going to kill me!"

"Mia!" Dash was really furious. "You're holding the microphone and still lowering your voice—do you think I'm deaf?"

"I'm done for, Amelia. I'm going to get beaten up!" Mia wailed.

Amelia found it amusing.

Dash chased Mia all around the room. Soren took her microphone and started singing.

Hawk couldn't make it today because of something and had Soren apologize to her.

Jeffrey walked over from the side and poured her a drink.

"How is it? How does the first day of divorce feel?" Jeffrey said with a smile.

"It's just..." Amelia took the drink and took a big gulp, saying, "Fantastic!"

Everyone laughed together.

The few young guys also stayed, since they'd already been called over anyway.

Having them perform and liven up the atmosphere wasn't bad either.

"I was just curious!" The room was filled with Mia's wailing. "Dash, I'll never dare do it again."

"You still dare talk about next time!" Dash chased Mia around the room.

While they were fooling around, Harold happened to pass by outside.

The door wasn't completely closed, leaving a small gap, so the sounds from inside came out.

Hearing the noise inside, Harold said to the person beside him, "Pretty lively in there."

The person next to him nodded and smiled in agreement.

Harold didn't pay much attention and just led the person to the next private room.

While walking, he was checking his phone, wanting to ask if William was almost done with dinner.

But before he could send a message, a gossip notification popped up—

#William, Isabella Candlelight Dinner#

Harold clicked to look and smiled, "Pretty romantic."

...

In the other private room.

Amelia watched them fool around. She closed the door properly, sank into the sofa, and let out a long breath.

"It's so rare to relax today," Amelia said, taking another sip.

The weight she'd been carrying in her heart was finally lifted, and she could temporarily forget some troubles.

Jeffrey nodded with a smile, sitting next to her. "I was thinking the same thing, but today is just temporary. After The Sound of Heaven finals, let's take Briar out to have some real fun."

Amelia nodded, indicating it was a good suggestion.

But first, Briar needed to have her surgery and get better.

However, she didn't want to think about these things today.

She'd set aside all her worries for now. Tonight, she wanted to be happy.

"Let's go have fun," Amelia said.

Jeffrey nodded and smiled. "Sure."

The two headed downstairs to the dance floor.

There were lots of people here, packed together, everyone dancing freely under the dim lights.

Around the dance floor were some booths. At this moment, someone watching the people on the dance floor spat out their drink.

"What are you doing!" the people nearby shouted.

"Look who that is!" The person pointed at Amelia, who was laughing and bouncing, and said, "Isn't that William's wife Amelia?"

Now everyone was interested.

They looked in the direction he was pointing, and sure enough, it was Amelia.

"William and Amelia really know how to have fun!" someone said.

"No kidding! William has a candlelight dinner with Isabella, and Amelia comes to Moonlight Bar to dance! Isn't that Jeffrey next to her?" another person gossiped.

"It really does look like him!"

The enthusiasm of gossip lovers is endless.

At this moment, William's car had just stopped downstairs from Isabella's building.

He planned to drop Isabella off at home and then go find Harold.

But Isabella didn't seem ready to get out immediately.

"William," Isabella called out, a bit shyly.

William looked at her.

"Want to come up and sit for a bit?" Isabella said with a flushed face, full of expectation. "You and she have already separated, so we..."
