Star Gazer Venus's projection suddenly disappeared before Charlotte could speak. She came out of the cave and saw Alexander approaching with a basket in his hand. Charlotte was excited to meet Alexander and intercepts him.
"Where did you go, Alexander?"
Alexander gave the basket to Charlotte. "These are breads I bought, eat them so you can have strength for our quest!"
Charlotte felt that the bread was still warm and the aroma was very delicious.
"I went to the warriors of King Barholomeo and explained what happened yesterday night. They believed what I said and I found out that there are complaints about the old pervert who tried to take advantage of you!"
Charlotte bowed again. "Sorry, I was gullible enough to trust and believe what Felipe said. Don't worry, because it won't happen again!"
"No problem, I watched over you the entire time yesterday because I knew your beautiful face would attract pervert warriors!"
Alexander heard Charlotte's stomach growling and he grinned. "Go ahead and eat, I know you're hungry. We're going on a trip to the Alabama island called windburg"
Charlotte ate bread as they walked. After a while they reached the shore of the sea of Alabama. They both boarded the wooden boat and pedaled together. The space is so small that their bodies almost touch. Alexander and Charlotte did not have any problems with their bodies close to each other.
"I am sorry, the small boats are only free here in our areas!" apologize Alexander.
Charlotte smiled at Alexander. "I have no problem with this. In fact, I'm more secure with you by my side so I don't get hurt!"
"That's fine, but why did you decide to flee your kingdom and dare to go to Alabama when there is still a conflict between the two kingdoms?"
"I saw two magicians and I followed them as they fled, but spears flew and hit them both! I was confused and I stumbled upon this place, it seems that I'm meant to live in this place for a while!"
"Don't worry, I won't report you, but be careful not to expose yourself because if the king discovered your real identity, I'm sure he will toss you out of his kingdom!"
"I will, so that's why the warriors in this place are disciplined. Maybe they're all afraid of being punished by your King!"
"King Bartholomeo is kind, in fact he treats his citizens well. What is your magic by the way?"
"I can only control things at will with my magic wand, but the more I use it, the easier it is for me to get weak and run out of stamina. So I don't know if this will help you!"
"Don't worry, you can use that to control your katana from afar. Let's find a way to defeat the sea monster more easily. But don't try to show off your skills to any warriors in our kingdom!"
"I understand, in fact I already know a lot about your kingdom. I happened to read a lot of books so I gained knowledge about Alabama, pretty convenient right?"
"That's good to hear!"
Suddenly the sky turned black and heavy rain gradually poured down. Charlotte uses her magic wand to speed up their boat until they land on the other island with the river in the middle. They are both wet and their armors became heavier to carry.
Alexander was the first to arrive at the shore, and he extended his hand to help Charlotte get off the boat. A giant creature with light brown scales, white belly, and brown-red spots all over its body emerged on the river, before sinking down again. Its weight as it slammed on the river splashed them with water.
"That monster is so damn terrifying!" Charlotte said as she saw a jaw-dropping creature.
"Yes, that monster has been in this place for almost two weeks and everyone who tried to kill it was swallowed alive. As I said, its name is Hydra and we have no idea where it came from!"
Alexander drew his celestial sword to prepare himself. Charlotte also unsheathed her katana and it was obvious that she was not used to handling it.
"Just use your magic to control your katana from this distance, it's too dangerous if you approach that sea monster!"
Charlotte immediately took out her magic wand to control her katana. Alexander put his two finger to his lips and whistled. The sea monster popped out again and opened its mouth to devour them. Alexander grabbed Charlotte by the waist and quickly ran away. The fish jumped into the sea.
"How are we going to defeat that colossal monster?" Charlotte wondered. "Our weapons are no match for its razor-sharp teeth, and we only have a few seconds to strike that monster while it's in the air!"
"I have a splendid idea, what I want you to do is to target its eyes so it can't see us, then I will attack it!"
"Leave it to me!"
Alexander ran and whistled. When Charlotte saw the sea monster, she immediately used her magic to control her katana sword but missed to hit its eyes. Alexander jumped up and quickly sliced the sea monster's body and its green blood splattered in his face.
"Amazing, Alexander's weapon is strong!" Charlotte said in amazement. "Maybe I should try to move that monster in the land so I can easily hit it with my Katana!"
Charlotte raised her magical wand and cast in incancentation. "Manipulation magic activated, magia de manipulación activada!"
Charlotte managed to lift the sea monster and put it on the ground. She stabbed its eyes with her katana sword and gazed at Alexander seriously. "Hurry up and kill it, I can only use my magic for a short span of time!"
Alexander immediately ran closer and slashed the body of the sea monster into two. He was amazed at what Charlotte did, and he hugged her. "I am really impressed you managed to lift that fucking creature on land!"
"Yes, but I feel weak all of a sudden. I need to rest again to regain my strength!"
"Maybe you just need training to maintain your stamina!"
"I never dreamed of becoming a warrior, so I don't think I need to train!"
The rain stopped for a while.
"I see, I truly respect your decision. Anyway, let's go back to Alabama!"
Charlotte removed her katana from the eyes of the sea monster and they boarded the boat again. Charlotte became clumsy as she pedaled. She leaned on Alexander's shoulder and mumbled. "I feel like I am about to pass out, Alexander!"
Fortunately, they saw a large boat approaching Alabama as well. Alexander screamed at the top of his lungs while waving his hand at them. "Hey, we need help, we are heading back to Alabama!"
The warrior in the big boat heard Alexander's voice and generously helped them to get back to Alabama. Alexander thanked the kind warrior for rescuing them. They went straight to the guild hall and everyone was surprised to see Alexander with a beautiful woman with an attractive face. The warrior approached Charlotte but Alexander grabbed his celestial sword causing them all to retreat.
"She is a newcomer, please don't try to approach her, perverts! She will be working alongside me when I don't have training!" Alexander said as he rolled his eyes at the warriors. He put his arm around Charlotte's shoulder and they went to the front of the guildhall where a quest master in armor was standing. She frowned in jealousy upon seeing Alexander with another warrioress.
Alexander smiled at Isabella. "Hi Quest master, Isabella, we are done with the mission to kill the sea monster! By the way," Alexander looked at Charlotte and introduced her excitedly. "This beautiful warrioress' name is Charlotte, and she is my new friend!"
Charlotte bowed to Isabella. "Nice to meet you, Quest master Isabella, I like this guild hall of yours!"
Isabella fixed her gaze at Alexander. "You are the only one who will receive the reward because you are the only one assigned to kill the sea monster regardless if you were accompanied with some lousy warrioress!"
Alexander raised his voice at Isabella because she hurled insults at Charlotte. "Charlotte helped me a lot, I will not allow you to disrespect her, not in my face!"
Charlotte turned to Alexander. "Isabella is right, I have no right to share your reward. Let's respect your laws!"
Alexander fixed his eyes at Isabella. "Alright, I will take my reward and give some to Charlotte. But in the next quest, she'll be my companion!"
A warrior walked over and kneeled down to Charlotte. "I am willing to accompany you on the quest if you wish!"
There were many warriors who also kneeled down to Charlotte, as they also wanted her to join them on the quest.
Isabella punched the table in anger, and everyone was stunned in shock. "Please get out of this guild hall, Charlotte! This is the first time I've experienced seeing warriors going crazy over some stupid warrioress like you!" she yelled.
"We'll only leave when you give me the ten gold coins reward," said Alexander.
Isabellla opened her drawer under the table and took out the ten gold coins and gave it to Alexander. "Please stay here and let that friend of yours get out of this fucking guild hall!"
Alexander took the ten gold coins and immediately put it in his pocket. "No, Charlotte is my friend and I won't let her leave this place without me. Do you have another quest to give me?"
"I have no more to offer you, leave the easy quests to the warriors who are weaker than you. Again, don't forget that my birthday is tomorrow and it will be held at night after your training with the Prince!"
Alexander grabbed Charlotte's shoulder. "Can you invite her as well? She's a nice warrioress, I am sure you'll like her charming personality!"
Isabella immediately objected to what Alexander said. "No, there's only enough food for thirty guests and I am not interested in knowing her either!"
"Then I won't go tomorrow on your birthday. I'd rather sleep than go to your birthday party alone!"
Isabella's face bulged and she looked at Charlotte as if she wanted to strangle her.
"I'm fine, you don't need to fight anymore. I'll just hide in the cave again," said Charlotte.
"Fine, go to my birthday celebration as well! But don't you dare to dress, you might even steal the attention of my guests!"
"I understand what you want to happen, I have no intention of doing anything bad. Thank you very much for inviting me!"
"Don't thank me first, because you'll just watch while my guests dance with me, especially Alexander!"
"Wait a minute, I thought I was just a guest too? You didn't tell me anything about dancing!" Alexander said in shock.
"I'm sorry, one of the warriors who was supposed to dance with me won't be able to come, so I thought you'd be the perfect to replace him. I'm sorry, these things can really get out of hand!" Isabella explained. "I hope you agreed coz I look forward to dancing with you, Alexander!"
Alexander sighed. "O-okay, it's fine... as long as Charlotte is invited, I am beyond happy!"
Charlotte notices Isabella's seductive look at Alexander and realizes that she has a crush on the handsome zodiac warrior.
Charlotte felt dizzy and suddenly passed out. When she woke up, she found herself inside a room made of brick stone. Alexander entered with a basket of food in his hand and placed it on the table. He was happy to see Charlotte finally woke up.
