Chapter Fifty - Epilogue And Ending: The Ego Behind The Curse.

Kimberly and Charles Leo have returned to their pack and now Festus and his former Betas are now his gammas as they have been employed by the moon goddess.

They hope the moon goddess will bring their sons, daughters, and or friends home one day.

Kimberly is sobbing in her room when she remembers that they might not come home anytime soon. She has driven her car back into the pack house and in front of her house. Alpha Martin has taken Festus as one of his good Betas because he now proves his innocence through his actions.

"Kimberly, what's wrong?" Charles asks her as he drops a mug on a stool in the room. "Why are you crying?"

"Ain't." She changes her voice.

"Then, you shouldn't be... Your face should not look grimaced." Charles retorts. "Alpha Martin promised to make George and Kellie a pack house once they finish with school."

"Have you even contacted them?" She pouts her lips. "Don't use mind link. Just use your WhatsApp."

"No!" Charles chuckles. "Just let's have fun and die in bed."

"I don't get?"

"Don't you wanna be naughty?" Charles' eyes seem red. "Let's fuck till dawn. We lost our pup."

"I guess you're high." Kimberly rolls her eyes at him and soon, he dozes off.

A knock comes on the door and Kimberly springs up from bed, not wanting Charles to wake up and force her to do it.

She jerks the door open since it's on latch as she sighs on seeing Alpha Martin with Festus, his Beta, smiling.

"Alpha, I hope everything is... okay?" Kimberly smiles as well and she follows them downstairs, slowly shutting the door behind her. They saunter down the staircases and move to the sofa.

"Festus told me there's a goodnews." Martin tells Kimberly once they are all seated.

"Oh, our Beta! The first gamma in the Association of Wolves' pack." Kimberly hails. "What goodnews? About George? About Kellie?

"Not really." Festus sniffles.

"Oh, then talk..." Kimberly slurries since it doesn't concern her.

"A pack house would be built for George and Kellie once they return." Festus says and smiles sheepishly.

"I heard that." Kimberly deadpans. "Anything else?"

The smiles on Martin's lips disappear once he hears that but those on Festus' don't, since he got a second goodnews! Good new?

"George will successfully find Kellie and bring her home." Festus tells her.

"Wow. Moon goddess told you?" Martin asks and he nods. "You didn't tell me you have that information with you earlier."

"I wanted to make it a surprise, that's why. I apologize." Festus replies.

"When, and how will they come back?" Kimberly scoffs, disbelieving the message from the moon goddess.

"It's from the moon goddess. They'll surely come."

"That's after a year."

"But there's hope."

"She would get lost again."

Festus doesn't reply.

"Any hope for that too?" Kimberly scoffs. "Wasted pup. Trash!"

"No." Martin replies. "I'm sure moon goddess will lift the ego but ensure you confess everything you need to, when they return."

Then, there comes a knock on the door. It opens freely though locked earlier and that's to say a white wolf is at the door post.

"Who's it?" Kimberly asks. "Come in."

Then, Kellie, Kelvin with Clarissa and George walk in, majestically.

Kimberly shrieks on top of her voice as she runs up the staircases. Festus falls behind the sofa as he keeps shivering and claiming he saw ghosts while Alpha Martin hugs the pillow and sniffles as his lips quaver and cold catches up with him, unexpectedly.

"Alpha, it's me! It's Kellie, for real!" Kellie yells as Kimberly comes downstairs again while Charles follows behind.

"Am I still drunk, Kimberly?" Charles asks her as they both head to them to hug them.

"No, you're not." George says as he moves to Charles and hugs him. "Dad, it's me!"

"How??" Kimberly yells with her voice breaking as she hugs Kellie tightly while Alpha Martin greets Kelvin and Clarissa.

"I guess these are your friends." Charles tells George. "They look new. Hi, guys!"

Then, Festus creeps out and gives his own hugging as well.

"Where are you going to?" Kimberly asks him as he jerks the door open and yells as he moves out.

Soon, he returns with Alfred, Austin, Mike, Douglas and Henry.

They all are surprised to see Kellie and everyone.

"It's great to see all and sundry witness this today." Kellie speaks up, still in her mum's arms though.

"Great but we ain't complete." Festus sobs.

"What!" George retorts.

"Richard went for it." He breaks down and sits on a chair while his former Betas do, too.

After few minutes, they all lift their mood and start to laugh again.

Kimberly chuckles and asks, "why did you leave school, you kids?"

"Did you do it conveniently with her?" Charles asks George, hitting his own s*t*u*f*f*.

"You didn't know what they went through." Kelvin says. "Before we could come here. Kellie got lost and it almost took our lives especially George's, to save her."

"Wow, my God." Charles exhales.

"The moon goddess asked Kellie to get an object to know her time of getting lost, right?" Clarissa asks.

"Right." Martin clips.

"Did she get it?" Kimberly asks.

"She did." Clarissa replies. "It seems like a summary now since you didn't encounter the hell."

"We almost got into the hellhole." George adds.

"In fact, I got there but was saved by George who got Seriously burnt." Kellie adds and her mum tickles her armpits making her chuckle.

"I'm so sorry for this but George, we all know that one can't heal the hellfire bruise or hellhole's except the person is a demon."

"Dad, come off that." George replies.

"We all have it. We four. And you seeing us and having a connection with us have already become a part of it whether you like it or not." Clarissa explains.

"Aah..." Kimberly wants to talk but Martin comes in.

"It's all good." He says. " Moon goddess has done us a great thing. That lost wolf, Kellie, has been found. Only that we are yet to beseech her on knowing if her fate could be taken away."

"Can't we summon her right here?" Alfred tells George and he tells all of them.

"No." Kellie says and before anyone can ask why, she brings out the gem

"Here is the object." She says and everyone moves nearer. They all give different kinds of excitement tones.

"It makes you remember what you have lost or need to remember." George tells them. "Kimberly, is there anything you wanna remember?"

"Yes." Festus' brains clicks immediately he sniffs the gem. "Don't you think you should ask Kimberly and Charles what they did or the pledge they made with the moon goddess while mating?"

"That's true." George nods his head. "We never asked."

"Seems this is working." Martin remarks. "I'll use this to knows the minds of my forefathers from now on."

Alfred chuckles. Douglas sniffles. Austin clears his throat while Mike walks up to Clarissa and stays behind her.

"Mom, please talk. Festus is making sense." Kellie tells Kimberly.

"Here." George takes the gem from Kellie's hands and places it in Kimberly's nostrils.

"Hmm!!" She says after few minutes. "All I remember is ...."

Then, George puts down the gem and hands it over to Kellie again.

"Moon goddess told my mother that I would always be a problem to her. She asked moon goddess how that's so and moon goddess told me while I was still 15 that I will always get into trouble and be kidnapped. I told my mom and she pleaded with the moon goddess through the first gamma in the pack. Moon goddess hears us finally but later tells me after two years that it didn't get away, it was only passed to the next generation."

"Ha!" They all chorus. Everyone. Except Kimberly.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was transferred to my Kellie." Kimberly apologizes.

"No apologies." Martin says. "As you said, I tapped a tip from it, we will order the moon goddess through Festus who is the first gamma and she will reverse the curse to the next generation."

"It wasn't a curse."Kimberly says. "It was this fate's luck."

"Okay then." Martin replies.

"So we'll keep reversing and sending to another generation?" George asks.

"Yes, exactly." Kellie replies. "No more interested in having me as a mate?*

"Not at all. Those packed items clogged onto your..." He coughs. "... will keep me busy from now on. When we have our pup, let's reverse the fate to the next generation as soon as possible."

"And we will also let the pup know on rime that he or she has to reverse it quickly for his child. But if we die before he's mature, I'll add the message to this gem and keep it for him. When he finds out that it occurs to his pup, he would pick up this gem and make amends."

"Good!" They all cheer as clapping of palms blares the sitting room, much noise coming from the betas.

"So, now, just like that, I'm free!!" Kellie yells

"Not yet." Festus replies. "I haven't contacted the moon goddess yet."

"But, almost, idiot!" Douglas chuckles and he smiles.

"Already passed." The moon goddess sends a message to all of them in their mind links as they peer at each other and smile the next minute. "Reversed."

Each and everyone one of them hugs Kellie and one another. Mike sniffs Clarissa's scent and knows she is his mate but he keeps that for future doings.

"Finally, we will be together without you getting lost anymore!" George chuckles as he springs up from the sofa and carries her up in his arms and then he darts towards her room.

"Always lost. Now, not anymore." Austin says. Alfred chuckles.

They all smile and thank the moon goddess for the opportunity and awareness.
