Chapter 50

Zora POV

Where was I? My back ached and my ankles and wrists burned. As the fog cleared in my mind the slobbering slurping sound became more prominent it was like it was right on top of me.

What the hell is going on?

A silver handcuff bound my right wrist to a metal headboard. This is when being a werewolf would come in handy.

"Let me go," I demanded, tugging on the restraint.

"She's finally awake. I knew you'd come around quickly."

I lifted my head to see who the male voice belonged to but instead, my eyes turned to saucers and my mouth hung open.

The man from the bar sat shirtless with his legs spread open as a woman slobbered on his cock. He fisted her hair as she went down on him, caressing his thick hairy thighs. I couldn't believe who the woman was, but she proved venomous.

Rachel moaned as she sucked on the man who kidnapped me! Who was he?

"Let me go!" I yelled.

"We haven't even played yet. Come on, babe."

"Don't call me that."

He laughed. "Don't be spiteful Zora."

My skin crawled and I looked away yet my body felt an unnatural drawl towards him. I didn't even know him! I shut my eyes as desire built in my belly. He moaned and cursed and the fire grew.

He moaned louder as if he were on the brink of orgasm. His moans turned me on more but I wouldn't let him know that.

"Fuck," he panted.

I squeezed my eyes shut and breathed steadily.

"Alright, Rachel, get out of here," he ordered.

"Excuse me?" she scoffed.

"Don't look at me like that. You did a good job but you can leave now. Zora and I have things to talk about."

Rachel scowled but seconds later I heard a door close. A presence settled next to me. His warm fingers brushed the hair out of my face before he grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.

"Don't be cold, mate," he demanded.

"Don't call me that! Put on some clothes too."

He smirked. "You're wearing my shirt."

I yelped and he laughed. "You look good in it."

"Dash is my mate," I blasted.

He leaned back in the chair he dragged over to the bed and rolled his eyes.

"Dash is not your mate. He's pretending to be your mate," he said.

"He chose me and I chose him. I don't think you're alright upstairs."

He had a body that spent hours being worked on in the gym. His eyes were beautiful and might fool someone into believing he was innocent but he kidnapped me and then I noticed the snake tattoo on his abdomen. My eyes widened in horror.

"You're the Serpent?"

"Or Gabriel. The friends I haven't killed called me Gabriel."

That sent a chill up my spine.

He laughed sinisterly. "Relax, Zora, I'm your mate I wouldn't hurt you."

"You have me tied to a bed!"

"But are you hurt?" he raised a brow.

"I'm not your mate. You're wrong," I sniffled. "Let me go, Rachel's waiting for you."

He grimaced. "Yes, she is."

I turned away again but Gabriel made me face him again. His touch was like ice on a hotel rock.

"I am your mate. I got permission from your Father. A special kind of blood promise that bonded us together."

"That's not how it works!"

"I said it was a special blood promise, Zora of course that's not how mate bonds work but that's how ours works."

"Why would my Father give me to you!" Why me and not Zelda?

"He had no choice maybe to save his skin. You know Martin Dean is a brilliant man so he found a way."

"Couldn't you find someone else to mate?" I scowled.

"I'm not all bad, Zora. Wait until you get to know me. Besides, I can tell you want me as badly as I want you."

He dragged his hand up my calf to my thigh. It was painfully slow and agonizingly pleasurable.

"You know where my Dad is?" I asked through gritted teeth.

He nodded. "And your Mother and Grandfather. I don't want them though I want you, mate."

"Please just leave me alone," I begged.

He smirked. "I brought a few things from your house to get us started."

He was in my house!

Gabriel stood and wandered off out of my view and that worried me
