"Hmm... I want more hugs," he whined, then hugged me tighter.

"L-Later again," I just whispered.

Luca's eyes opened, and he looked at me. His smile widened, and he bit his lower lip. "Really? No takebacks?"

I just nodded and looked away from him. "Y-Yes, so go out now. Miri might catch you here. I still have to shower," I just whispered.

Luca sat up and kissed my forehead. "I'll take care of Vanna. Take your time... I love you so much," he whispered before finally leaving my room.

I just blinked and sat up. I grabbed a pillow and buried my face in it, then let out a muffled shriek. I don't know what it was for... Was it because I was embarrassed by what happened... or because I was giddy?

I just shook my head and gently slapped my cheek. Am I not too old to feel those things?

After rolling around on the bed, I got up to shower and get ready. I just stared at myself in the mirror while wearing the peach two-piece bikini. I bit my lower lip... I already feel embarrassed and I feel like backing out.

I just took a deep breath and wore a white see-through beach dress. I gulped and stared at myself in the mirror once again... It's alright. I'm beautiful and sexy... well, slightly.

I just went out of my room. My knees were still trembling because of nerves. I also don't know why I was nervous. I was embarrassed to face Luca, but I also wanted to wear this... I don't know anymore.

"OMG, Crescent..."

I froze when I ran into Miri. Her lips parted, then her eyes went down to my body. My face seemed to heat up even more because of what she did.

"W-Where's Vanna?" I just asked, trying to change the subject.

"Over there in the dining area, eating breakfast," Miri whispered while staring intently at me. "OMG, girl. Luca's eyes will pop out when he sees you," she said, shaking her head.

My face got even hotter. "I-I told you, we don't have a relationship," I just said and looked away.

"Oh, come on... I already know that he loves you," she just said, shaking her head.

I just blinked at what she said. "H-Huh?"

"Whatever... go on, go to Luca in the dining area. Oh, wait... You have to remove this, girl," she said, then went to me and took off my see-through dress; it was robe-style, so she easily removed it from me.

"W-What are you doing?" I asked, stuttering, then hugged myself.

She winked at me. "Rawr."

What?

"I'm just going to take a selfie on the balcony. Bye!"

My lips just parted when she left me, carrying my see-through dress. I went to the dining area and found Vanna and Luca there, laughing while eating. It looks like the father and daughter were chatting again... I just swallowed and looked at my body... Should I just go back to the hotel room to get a dress?

"Mommy! Wow! You're super pretty!" Vanna cheerfully greeted me.

Luca looked at me. I saw how his lips parted and he dropped the spoon he was holding. My whole face got even hotter with his reaction. He looked at me from head to toe. I saw how his Adam's apple moved. I was taken aback when he suddenly stood up and came in my direction.

"C-Crescent... you take care of Vanna for a bit," he whispered.

"H-Huh? Where are you going?"

"To the bathroom," he just said, then immediately left.

I just followed him with my gaze... Why would he suddenly go to the bathroom?

I got tired from playing with Vanna all day. Luca also joined us. I caught him a few times giving me a possessive look. I just told him to stop, but all he would say to me was... "Damn, sexy."

"Mommy..."

"Hmm?" I asked and caressed her hair. I also fixed her blanket.

She yawned and closed her eyes. "I want to tell Daddy that I love him but I'm shy," she muttered.

I smiled at what she said. If only Luca could hear this, he would probably cry with joy.

"You don't have to be shy, baby. Your daddy will surely be so happy when you tell him that," I just said, then kissed her forehead.

Vanna smiled a little and nodded before she finally fell asleep. I just smiled and stroked her cheek before I went out of her room. I peeked into Luca's hotel room, but he wasn't there, so I just went outside... I was about to go to the seaside to stare at the moon, but I stopped when I saw Miri and Luca at the pool area. They seemed to be having a serious conversation.

"Cad told me what happened to you for the past years... I just want to ask you something, Vincenzo," Miri said, then took a puff of her cigarette.

Luca didn't speak and just kept staring at the pool.

"How can you still love her? Just how much do you love her?"

Luca put his hands on the back of his head. "So much... I couldn't even measure how much I love her." He looked at Miri. "Crescent is my life."

I just swallowed and held my robe tightly because of what he said. My vision immediately blurred because of the tears forming in my eyes... His voice... it was so sincere... He loves me so much.

"I love everything about her, Miri. I love her so much... I love her even more. I love Crescent so much that I couldn't take it anymore..."

I don't know how long I was standing there while listening to what Luca was saying, how much he loves me, how much he loves everything about me while smiling as if I was on his mind at that moment... I heard everything about how much he loved me for six years even though he wasn't with me.

I just found myself sitting by the beach while crying... Luca loves me so much that my heart couldn't handle it. He loves me so much despite everything that I did, despite the fact that I loved another man, despite the fact that I hated him and I hid our daughter from him... He still loves me despite the fact that I stopped loving him before.

He loves me so much even if it was so unfair to him... He loves me so much. 

"Crescent..."

I immediately wiped my tears when I heard Luca's voice. I felt him sit beside me. I looked at him, but that was probably a wrong move because he looked at my eyes.

His eyes softened. "W-Why are you crying, baby?" he asked and caressed my cheeks. He wiped my tears gently while staring at me.

"I-I'm sorry, Luca..." I sobbed.

"Why are you suddenly saying that? You didn't do anything wrong to me," he said in a gentle voice, then kissed my cheek.

I bit my lower lip and touched his hand on my cheek. "I-I... I also... I-I want to give us a chance."

Luca froze at what I said. His eyes slightly widened... "H-Huh?"

"I'm giving you permission... to... court me," I said, stuttering.

"A-Are you serious?" he asked, also sounding like he couldn't believe it.

I held his cheeks with both hands, then lightly kissed him on the lips. He was even more stunned by what I did. I just bit my lower lip while staring at him. "I-I'm falling in love with you... again... I-I'm sorry if I stopped loving you before. I-I'm sorry if I was unfair and--"

I stopped when Luca kissed my lips. It was deeper than my kiss earlier. He pulled me closer to him, then made me sit on his lap and held the back of my neck to deepen the kiss.

"I don't care about those things anymore... I'm so damn happy, Crescent. Damn... I love you.. I fucking love you, so damn much..." he muttered in between our kisses.

I just hugged the back of his neck and kissed him back... I feel like I no longer care about our surroundings. I just gasped when Luca suddenly lay me down on the sand, then got on top of me, not breaking our heated kiss. I didn't protest and just held his hair.

He separated our lips and stared at my blushing face while stroking my thigh.

"L-Luca... Vanna is already asleep... she's a heavy sleeper so... w-we have nothing to worry about," I whispered.

Luca distanced his face and looked at me. He smirked and bit his lower lip. "That's good to hear... Miri just left, so, it's just the two of us here."

I just nodded... "Y-Yeah, that's good to hear."

Luca just smiled and crushed his lips on mine again... I just hugged the back of his neck and kissed him back... I guess we're both excited, but well, I don't mind doing it here.
