Episode 37 — “The One Who Touched Without Permission”

Episode 37 — “The One Who Touched Without Permission”
The next two days, Rae still wanted to go jogging early in the morning.. She felt better.
She left the house and start running...

“Ohh Rae… you just recovered, got too excited about jogging, and forgot your favorite book in the kitchen since last night.” Kenny said.

Kenny stopped at the doorway of Rae’s bedroom. The room was quiet. The curtains were half open, letting the morning light dance across the wooden floor.
He stood still for a moment, looking around, then stepped inside. One hand held a thick book under his arm.

“Her scent is still here,” he thought, his eyes moving across the neatly made bed.

He sat down at the edge of the mattress, placed the book gently on the pillow, then stood up and began to smooth out a small wrinkle on the blanket, something that didn’t really need fixing.

His movements were slow but precise. Like he was caring for something fragile, not just fabric.
“Done.... So when you come back from jogging, you can rest right away, Rae…”

Just as he turned to leave, his eyes caught a strange glimmer on the top shelf. He stepped closer, looking up. A tiny flash, barely visible, but enough to make his jaw tighten.

“What’s that? I never told anyone to put anything up there…”

He pulled Rae’s desk chair over, climbed onto it, and reached for the small object hidden between books and a wooden ornament: a micro camera, the kind used for remote surveillance. Perfectly hidden. Small. But not his...

Kenny’s hand clenched slowly. His lips moved in a whisper.
“Bastard… who dares… touch what’s mine?”

Kenny sat in his working room. Sunlight from the big window reflected off his glass desk.

The camera now lay in front of him like a piece of evidence in court. He wiped it clean with an alcohol pad, then opened his encrypted laptop. His fingers moved quickly across the keyboard.

A secure line connected.
“Mr. Blackwood. How can I help you?”

“Pull the last log data from this camera. I’m sending its signal. Trace who installed it. Now!”

The voice on the other end didn’t ask questions. Just the sound of typing, then a short silence.

“Sir… This camera is linked to our field surveillance system. It’s active. User ID: Kevin R. Morris. Division: Surveillance.”

Kenny said nothing. His hand clenched into a fist on the desk.
“Surveillance… pointed at Rae’s room? That bastard…”

“Correct, sir. The camera has been active for twelve days. There are recordings—”
“Delete them! All of them. Right now. And send me Kevin’s last known location.” Kenny cut.

“Yes, right away, sir…”

Kenny closed the laptop slowly. His eyes stared at the small camera one last time, then he crushed it under his shoe without a word. Only his breathing grew heavier.

That night, several black cars drove toward a warehouse…

“Hey, what’s going on here? Why is my head covered with a cloth?” Kevin asked.
“Shut your mouth. You’re the dumbest man alive, Kevin!” said the man beside him, hitting Kevin with the butt of his gun.

The warehouse stood on the edge of the city, hidden among old shipping containers and port buildings. Light rain made the tin roof shine under the dark sky.
Kevin’s head covering was pulled off. He was dragged inside...

Two men dressed in black pulled Kevin’s tied-up body into the room. His eyes were wild. His breathing fast. He recognized this place. But he never thought he’d be brought here, as a guest.

Kenny was already there. Standing in the center of the room like a shadow. Black suit, leather gloves, and a cold expression. A single light bulb hung from the ceiling, casting a harsh glow like an interrogation room.

“M.... Mr. Kenny?” Kevin thought in panic...

He was dropped to the floor. He curled up, trying to speak, but the cloth in his mouth made him groan instead. Kenny walked over slowly, crouched down, and pulled the cloth out of Kevin’s mouth.

“Sir… it’s just a misunderstanding, I—”
“You installed a camera. In Rae’s room,” Kenny interrupted.

Kevin swallowed hard. “I just… I thought you wanted tight security. I was worried—”

The slap came fast and clean. Not hard, but insulting. Kenny stood back up.

“You think this is about safety? This is about power.... About boundaries. About who is allowed to see. And you… touched something that was never yours, you bastard!”

Kevin started to cry. His body trembled. “I’m sorry, Sir. I… I’m just a man. She… she’s so beautiful, and… her body… I just—”

“How dare you talk like that…” Kenny said coldly. “She’s not yours to enjoy. She’s not even mine to hurt. But you? You broke something deeper than orders.”

A steel table in the corner of the room had been prepared since the afternoon. The tools were lined up neatly. Pliers. A scalpel. A small screwdriver. Saline water. Thin wires from a battery.

Kevin was tied up, half-suspended from a pole. His breath was quick. His eyes pleaded.
“Sir… why? Isn’t Rae a problem for your project? She’s an activist. Always causing trouble. Why are you… becoming this angry?”

Kenny walked slowly to the table. He picked up a small knife. Wiped it clean with alcohol. Then stepped closer and whispered:

“Because she doesn’t belong to anyone. Except me. And you… you tainted her,” Kenny said, cutting Kevin’s skin with the blade.
“Aaaaaaargh… Please, sir, I’m sorry… forgive me!” Kevin screamed.

His cries couldn’t be heard outside. The warehouse was soundproof. But inside, time moved slowly. Blood dripped onto the floor. The screams were muffled. And Kenny… never raised his voice.

He wasn’t angry.
He was making sure no trace of desire remained.

A few hours later, the sea welcomed them.

The sky was dark. A small boat moved slowly away from the dock. The sea wind was cold, but Kenny stood calmly at the front of the boat.
His suit covered by a long coat. In front of him, Kevin was tightly wrapped in plastic. His face was swollen. His eyes still open. His breath, fading.

Kenny crouched, bringing his face close to Kevin’s ear.
“You saw her body, but you never knew her soul. And now… you don’t even have your own body left.”

One of Kenny’s men attached a heavy metal weight to Kevin’s feet.

“I treated you like a brother… and you betrayed me. Goodbye, Kevin.”
Then Kenny pushed the body gently. There was a small splash.

SPLASH....

The body sank slowly. There were no screams. No drama. Only the sea… calm as a night without stars....

The next morning, warm sunlight slipped into Rae’s room. She stood in front of the mirror, brushing her hair slowly.
“I don’t know why… but I slept really well last night,” she said softly, like talking to her own reflection.

Behind the wall, Kenny stood. A two-way mirror separated them. He watched Rae without blinking, like an artist who couldn’t stop looking at his masterpiece.
There was no smile on his face. Only a dangerous calm....

“No one will ever have those filthy thoughts about you again, Rae…” he thought. “No one. Even if I have to burn the whole world...”

He took a sip from his matte black mug. His eyes stayed on Rae. Not a single movement went unnoticed.
The world could keep turning....

But for Kenny Blackwood, the center of the universe was only one person.
He had just made sure: that center stayed pure.

And he made sure that anyone who ever tried to hurt Rae........ got the message.
