Chapter 122 Chapter 122

Chapter 122 Chapter 122
"We will go for twelve perfumes per set," said Mr. Roize, making me breathe. For real? Are we planning to launch that many? I'm not sure what's going on in Ismael's mind that causes him to go crazy, but I have a feeling this will take a long time to complete. It is more difficult to produce twelve scents than one, two, or three. As members of a marketing team, it is our responsibility to see that through testing, manufacture, packaging, advertising, and promotion. I can see this is no longer a joke; perhaps I'm the only one who doesn't take it seriously because I'm the one who began it in the first place. I believe I should set aside the thought of it. We are here, and there is no turning back.
"Is there anything else you wanted to raise before we end this meeting?" Miss Levanier asked, turning off her laptop. "Miss Alvandra, any thoughts or violent reaction?"
I sensed others around me looking. Even Mr. Roize glanced at me. "Oh, I just wanted to see if we might make perfume balms rather than sprays. I investigated it and discovered that balms can last longer than sprays. Also, there aren't many scent balms on the market yet, so maybe we can attempt that, especially if we release twelve in a set; it may be better if there weren't so many competitors."
I noticed other members of the marketing team nodding. I was afraid to express my issue, but I believe it is not awful if I do. Besides, I'm not winding around them. Miss Sapphire told me to help, not stare. I want this project to succeed.
"Mmm, I like your idea. I'll discuss that with our CEO."
The members of the marketing team gradually emerged. I was going to depart when I spotted Mr. Roize and Miss Levanier speaking quietly.
"Let's get some lunch together. Do you still have meetings to attend?" Mr. Roize asked. I remembered what Ismael told me: They are both his relatives.
"Yes, there is more, but it is later afternoon. Where will we eat?"
My eyes widened as I heard that. Are they truly close? Anyway, when Ismael and I were in the office the last time, it was clear that the three of them were quite close.
"I made a reservation at a fancy restaurant three blocks away from this building."
"Wow, extremely good. Let's leave immediately so we can return early."
I was going to depart when Miss Levanier called out my name. "How are you, Miss Alvandra? Where will you eat lunch? Do you want to join us?"
I glanced at Mr. Roize, as if the narrowing of his eyes indicated that he did not want me to come with them. Such a negative attitude. Is he making a move to Miss Levanier?
"No, it's fine," I said. "I have plans." Mr. Roize's face instantly cleared up when I refused.
"Are you sure? Mael still has meetings scheduled. You are welcome to spend an early lunch with us. Is it okay, Yves?" She appears to call Ismael and Mr. Roize this way on a regular basis.
"Of course, she can join us," Mr. Roize replied, staring at me. "What are you still waiting for?" He said, "Time is ticking," which worried me. I lost my mind that they are not my superiors to make me that nervous. I'm here for the collaboration, not as their marketing representative.
I stood and followed them. By the way, Ismael seemed to be busy; therefore, he didn't inform me that his meeting was at noon. Ours finished early, so I planned to simply wait for him because he would later bring me home. I'll just tell him that I'll have my lunch early with his cousins and grab him his meal so that when he finishes his meetings, he can just eat.
I also want to be around his cousins. Maybe I will know something about Ismael that he hasn't told me yet if I linger around them. I want to know more about him and the people around him.
"You made me a driver," Mr. Roize stated as Miss Levanier sat next to me in the backseat.
I noticed Miss Levanier smirking. "Why should I leave Miss Alvandra alone here?"
"So you're going to leave me?"
"You're very dramatic! Just drive there."
My jaw popped open in shock. I am not used to seeing them like this. Are they so easy on me to expose this part of themselves?
Miss Levanier looked at me and smiled. "Simply ignore him. He's really hot-headed, and he's also unfamiliar with women." I just nodded. But, looking at it, it's not exactly because of that that he was furious; instead, it could be because I went with them when they were meant to go out together alone.
