In Murkwell.
On the top floor of a magnificent skyscraper.
It was the office of the Labyrinth Coms' president, Kenneth Hussain.
Outside the office, Natalie Lama, sitting at the secretary's desk, looked at her watch and was lost in thoughts.
"The big star, Irre Fulldust, came to visit Mr. Hussain in the hope of getting investment. Will something happen between them? That's Irre! No man can resist her temptation! She's been in there for 3 minutes. Has she made it?"
When Natalie was thinking, a very stern voice came from inside, "Get out!" Accompanied by the sound of something breaking.
The door of the office opened.
Irre, disheveled, came out of the office with her delicate and beautiful face blushed.
She avoided eye contact with Natalie.
"Did you hear that?" Irre was a little upset.
"Miss Fulldust, please rest assured. I'm a professional secretary. I won't spill the tea." Natalie showed a very professional smile.
"That's the best." Irre breathed a sigh of relief secretly, but roared in her heart: She failed! How could there be a man who could refuse her? If word got out about this, she would be a laughingstock!
Humph!
Irre wiggled her tiny waist and walked away in hatred.
"Did Irre make it? But it's only three minutes. How could Mr. Hussain finish the sex so fast!" When Natalie was lost in thoughts, the internal telephone on the desk suddenly rang.
"Mr. Hussain." She pressed the answer button.
"Come in." Kenneth's deep magnetic voice was filled with extreme coldness.
It seemed that he was very annoyed.
"Okay." Natalie stood up and walked in.
Mr. Hussain's office was brightly lit, and the white carpet was covered with golden sunshine. His well-made custom suit and shirt were thrown on the floor casually.
They might have got laid on the carpet just now...
Natalie blushed inexplicably.
But why didn't she see Kenneth?
Where was he?
Why was he gone?
"Mr. Hussain?" Natalie's voice was soft and pleasant to hear.
"What do you call me for??" Kenneth's voice came from behind Natalie.
Natalie looked back and saw his fit and lean body.
He had just come out of the office bathroom, so he had no shirt on. With a slender neck, delicate collarbone, wide shoulders, narrow waist and tight and clear eight-pack abs, his shape was perfect.
Natalie was stunned.
Wasn't he better than the male models in magazines? ! !
Kenneth lowered his head slightly, and the crystal clear water drops fell down along his black and thick bangs, looking cold and beautiful.
OMG!
She had been working for him for two years, but it was the first time for her to see him like this.
No wonder Irre couldn't even walk steadily when she went out.
It was true that his handsome look made women feel weak in the legs.
Seeing Natalie staring at himself, Kenneth smiled coldly and asked, "What are you looking at?"
"Nothing." Natalie came back to her senses.
This was her boss. She couldn't have other thoughts.
Kenneth sniffed lightly, with an expression of "I'm not someone you can covet".
Natalie was embarrassed. She did have no special feelings for him.
Kenneth took two steps and said, "Come here."
Natalie followed, but she slipped and almost fell.
At this critical juncture, she held Kenneth's waist and suddenly felt the abdominal muscles that made her drool.
"Sorry!!!" Natalie was freaking out. What was she doing? !
The tips of Kenneth's ears hidden in the hair were also slightly red.
"I slipped." Natalie wanted to cry but had no tears, "I didn't mean it. There is unknown liquid on the floor."
It was not her fault. She was innocent!
Kenneth remembered that he broke the coffee cup in a rage when he found that Irre was trying to bribe him with sex.
But Natalie misunderstood.
She was so shy that she was at a loss where to look.
"Go to the suite and help me get a clean suit. Throw away the original one." Kenneth gave the order coldly.
As a secretary, these were Natalie's responsibilities. She couldn't refuse.
She had to live up to her salary of 30,000 dollars a month!
Therefore, she immediately went to the wardrobe of the suite, took a shirt and suit and gave them to Kenneth.
After putting on his shirt and suit, Kenneth returned to his previous cold and noble style.
He sat at his desk, his handsome facial features perfect and impeccable. The slim black handmade suit wrapped his slender and strong body, looking quite elegant and luxury.
"What's this?" Kenneth tossed the folder in his hand on the desk.
Natalie was upset, "The quarterly financial statement you asked for."
"Financial statement?" Kenneth said sarcastically, "I think it's a primary school student's arithmetic problem, and it's wrong! As the secretary of the CEO's Office, don't you know to check it carefully in advance?"
Natalie became nervous as she explained, "But I didn't send in this financial statement. It was the staff of the Finance Department."
"So you are not wrong?" Kenneth's eyes were aggressive.
Natalie was rendered confused. What had she done wrong?
However, her senior once said that as a secretary, she should learn to read the president's mind.
Got it!
That was not what Mr. Hussain meant!
He meant something else!
"Mr. Hussain, I know I was wrong." Natalie apologized.
"You've been working here for two years, but you don't know why you entered the company. Do you need me to teach you?" Kenneth said harshly, "If you don't do well next time, you can fuck off!"
"Yes, sir!" Natalie trembled, "I'll make up for it."
Seeing that she had a good attitude of admitting her mistake, Kenneth's tone became better, "Don't do this again. Now go out and think about what you should do."
"All right." Natalie walked out of the office.
She returned to her chair and exhaled heavily.
That was close!
She almost got fired.
If it weren't for that her family asked her to get married if she didn't work,
she must have been provoked to swear at the president just now.
Humph!
She was not wrong!
It was him who was wrong!
He had a problem!
He vented his dissatisfaction with himself on her.
Bastard!
She opened the shopping app, searched for a product, bought 99 of it and sent to Kenneth's villa.
But it was so expensive. This should be reimbursed, right?
At this time, her phone rang!
It was a message from her best friend, Leona Graves, "Let's have a drink!"
Natalie typed, "No, I just got scolded by my boss."
Leona complained for her, "Your boss is not a man! He has such a beautiful and lovely secretary, how could he scold you instead of getting into you? Is there something wrong with him?"
Natalie texted back, "You've known the truth."
Leona then suggested, "You are so poor to work for a pervert. Come to me! There are macho men here."
Natalie refused, "Macho men? No. I prefer gentle ones."
Leona continued to tempt Natalie, "There are all kinds of men here."
Natalie replied, "I'll come after work!"
Natalie disappeared from her desk as soon as it was time to get off work.
When Kenneth came out of the office, his face darkened as he looked at the empty desk.
Didn't she say she would make up for it?
She really didn't want to work here!
——
Kenneth drove home with a long face.
In front of his villa, there was a Bentley parked.
Seeing the familiar license plate, Kenneth looked worse.
"Ken!" Marnie Burke got out of the car. She was forty-eight years old, but she looked in her thirties.
However, although she was beautiful, she was charmingly naive.
Unlike most ladies.
"Mom." Kenneth rubbed between his eyebrows and asked, "Can you let me know in advance when you'll come next time?"
Marnie took Kenneth's arm and walked into the villa.
"If I had said it in advance, you wouldn't have come home from work." Marnie said with a smile, "I miss you. I want to meet you. By the way, I want to check if you have a girlfriend secretly!"
With that, Marnie let go of Kenneth and trotted into the villa.
She opened the shoe cabinet and looked disappointed, "It's all your smelly shoes, not even a pair of ladies' slippers."
Kenneth walked in, looking speechless as he asked in reply, "Whose are those ladies'?"
"They're mine!" Marnie rolled her eyes at him.
Then she turned her head and was suddenly startled by what was in the living room.
"Oh!" Marnie walked over and cried, "Ken, why did you buy so many couriers?"
"I didn't buy them." Kenneth was also puzzled.
"That's your home address." Marnie opened one of the boxes curiously, took a small box out of it and read, "Sildenafil?!!!!"
Kenneth was at a loss what to say.
Marnie looked stiff. "Ken, you are only twenty-eight. Do you need it?"
Kenneth called through gritted teeth, "Lettie!"
Lettie Quinn came out of the room and greeted Marnie in surprise.
"Lettie, my son has a girlfriend. Why didn't you tell me?" Marnie complained, "Be careful that I'll deduct your bonus!"
"Oh, does Mr. Hussain has a girlfriend?" Lettie was also shocked, "He has never taken her home."
"Ken, don't always go to the hotel. That's not clean." Marnie rubbed her hands. "Where is the girl from? How old is she? What does she do? Is she pregnant?"
"Mom, stop it." After saying that, Kenneth looked at Lettie sternly, "Find out whose prank this is!"
Lettie paused for a while before she was enlightened, "There's no need to investigate. These are all from your secretary."
