Chapter 192: Waiting to Go to Jail

Kelly's face immediately tightened into a frown when she heard the sudden outburst of crying.

What she had asked for was perfectly reasonable.

How did it turn into RH Aromatics being unwilling to take responsibility in these two women's mouths?

Kelly exchanged a glance with Hazel, and they both instantly received the same signal from each other's eyes.

These two might be here to stir up trouble on purpose.

Taking a couple of steps forward, Kelly suppressed her temper and spoke, "Ladies, you say RH Aromatics products caused this. I'm just asking for proof. If it's our fault, we'll own up to it. But if someone's making fake claims to cause trouble, should we just let it slide? You've got all these reporters and people here today. RH Aromatics wouldn't do anything to hurt its own reputation. Everyone wants a quick resolution, right?"

Kelly directed her last sentence to the crowd.

Sensing her straightforwardness, the crowd responded immediately.

"Yeah, lady, your daughter is in the hospital now. Just show the evidence. With us here, if RH Aromatics refuses to take responsibility, we'll help you expose them online and report them."

"Exactly, crying here won't solve anything!"

"I think Ms. Ross is right. What she's asking for is perfectly reasonable."

Different voices emerged from the crowd, and the two women sitting on the ground showed a flash of panic in their eyes.

They hadn't expected the crowd to suddenly change their stance and support RH Aromatics.

The two women gritted their teeth and kicked their legs, "We can't read or write. How would we know about purchase records? My daughter said she bought it from RH Aromatics!"

Their attitude further confirmed Hazel and Kelly's suspicions.

It seemed these two were indeed here to cause trouble.

"Then what about your daughter's hospital records and medical reports? You must have those, right?"

Hazel asked, and the two women started stammering, unwilling to provide them.

"Are you here without evidence, just to cause a scene?"

Hazel narrowed her eyes slightly, her voice suddenly deepening, "Ladies, you've been cursing and holding up a huge banner outside our company for so long. Now that we're here, all you've done is curse and cry about your misfortune without providing any evidence. I now have reasonable suspicion that you're here to cause trouble on purpose."

As her words fell, the two women visibly trembled.

Now, even the crowd began to doubt them.

After a moment, one of the women spoke up, "Who said we don't have evidence!"

She then pulled out a perfume bottle from her pocket. The design indeed looked like RH Aromatics' latest perfume, Reminisce.

"Everyone, look, isn't this RH Aromatics' product? My daughter had an allergic reaction after using this!"

Hazel took the perfume bottle from her hand, glanced at it, and laughed.

Others were puzzled as to why Hazel would laugh in this situation, but then they heard her speak, "What about the hospital report? If your daughter had an allergic reaction, there must be an allergen test. Show us the results to see if the allergen is indeed an ingredient in our perfume."

The two women started shouting again, "We didn't bring the hospital report. We've already shown you your company's product. Just tell us if you'll take responsibility!"

"That design does look like Reminisce, but something seems off."

"These two are so shameless. They can't even provide medical records or hospital reports. Could it be fake? And I saw Hazel laugh just now. She must have discovered something."

"I feel like RH Aromatics has been facing a lot of trouble lately. Maybe they're being targeted because of their success."

The crowd started discussing again, and Kelly stood nearby.

She hadn't understood why Hazel laughed until Hazel showed her the perfume bottle.

Kelly immediately saw the problem and raised an eyebrow, turning to the reporters nearby, "Make sure to record this well. You don't want to miss a good show."

The reporters were still a bit confused, but hearing Kelly mention a good show, they perked up. They had come all this way and needed to capture something worthwhile.

Otherwise, it would have been a wasted trip.

Hazel smiled at the two women, her cheerful gaze making them uneasy.

How strange!

She was just a young woman, but her gaze was so intimidating!

"Call the police. Report that someone is causing trouble and attempting extortion."

Hazel's words caused an uproar in the crowd.

The two women widened their eyes in disbelief, "What nonsense are you talking!"

"Everyone may not know, but every bottle of RH Aromatics perfume has a unique code engraved on the bottom, visible when held up to the light. Each code is different to prevent counterfeiting. And the scent is clearly not Reminisce. You've brought a fake perfume and expect us to compensate you? Do you think RH Aromatics is weak just because it has two female owners?"

Hazel's voice was icy, and Kelly had already taken out her phone to call the police.

Seeing them actually call the police, the two women panicked.

One of them jumped up and tried to snatch Kelly's phone, "Don't call the police!"

Fortunately, the security guards intervened in time, preventing Kelly from being attacked.

Her actions immediately revealed the truth.

The crowd and the reporters quickly realized what was going on.

"You think I have to listen to you? Coming here without evidence to slander and spread rumors can get you detained for a few days. You two can wait for jail time!"

Kelly didn't hold back, directly calling the police.

Everyone understood now, and some enthusiastic bystanders blocked the two women from escaping.

Soon, the police arrived. Seeing Hazel and Kelly, they assured them they would thoroughly investigate the matter.

After the two women were taken away by the police, the crowd gradually dispersed.

Hazel saw the reporters trying to leave and called out to them, "Why are you leaving so soon? Don't you want to ask more questions and take more photos? I can thank you properly later!"
