Zara’s POV
As soon as I left Zane, I found two hunters laughing by a tree.
“We are on an island dude, and if you look you can see land. All we have to do is fucking swim back to land. I was the top swimmer at school, so I know I can make it to land”
“No, you won’t” I told them as I walked over to them “You will die on this island and since there are two of you, then you can both be lunch for my twins”
 “Fuck off” the swimmer guy laughed “We can easily take you”
“Really?” I asked “Then come and show me what you are made off” I wiggled my fingers at him inviting him to make a move.
They both lunged at me as the same time and I grinned as I pulled out my blades and stabbed them both in the leg. They both fell and glared at me as I spun around ready to finish them.
“Come on” I sighed “I was expecting more of a challenge” I didn’t wait for them to have chance to recover as I ran towards them and stabbed them both in the stomach.
“Can we feed now?” Isla asked as she appeared next to me with Lachlan.
“I need to make sure they are dead first” I told them.
“No need” Lachlan smirked as he waved his hands and both hunters froze
“You can use your skill on two at a time?” I asked as they both walked over to the hunters
“Yes” Isla confirmed as she started to feed
Zane came to join me just after the twins left.
“Most of the hunters are already dead” he told me “Dennis was killed by his own men, and I have Bethany draining the rest of his blood”
“So, the hunt will be over soon?” I asked
“Well only two of them are still alive” he shrugged “So I might leave it to the others and go call the agent and lawyer. We might be able to move tomorrow”
“Do that” I nodded as I wrapped myself around him
“As you wish” he chuckled as he took us back to our room and grabbed his phone. I sat on the bed watching him waiting for him to be finished to confirm that we could move to our new house tomorrow.
“Well?” I asked as soon as he hung up “Well the last two hunters have just been killed” he smirked “And we get the keys to the house tomorrow morning, so I just need to call the store and advise them to deliver everything for us tomorrow”
“I guess our guests won’t need to stay the night after all”
“No, but I will need to get Gerald and Albert to help me move the dead bodies back to my crematorium”
“You can do that while the rest of us have lunch” I grinned “Then we can spend the rest of the day relaxing before we all leave tomorrow”
Zane transported us to the lounge where everyone else was waiting.
“Thank you for a fun hunt” one of the vampires grinned “It was a bit sad how many of them killed themselves before it started”
“I agree James but thank you for coming and helping to get rid of the hunter problem” Zane nodded. “Now I can move into my new house with my mate tomorrow and start our lives together without looming threats”
The vampires all said their goodbyes and left leaving us alone again.
“We are moving into our house tomorrow” Zane told everyone “The rest of you are free to stay here longer if you wish, but now that Zara is pregnant again, I want us to get settled in our new house”
“I will call our agent now and see if I can move things forwards” Gerald smiled “I want to also get settled before the baby is born”
“We might go on a wee holiday” Albert grinned “God knows we deserve one”

One year later
Zane’s POV
I watched as Zara played with our youngest kids in the garden. It turned out nothing could stop my girl getting pregnant and now we have four lots of twins and they are all gifted in one way or another. Gerald and Ivy were sat watching with their child running around with our youngest twins. Thankfully the last lot seem to be growing at a more normal speed and are keeping on the same level as Ivy and Geralds baby. Betty and Roland opened the restaurant and restored the apartment above it. The restaurant is a huge hit and is booked out most nights as the locals love that they can go and relax while their kids play in the large playground. They also decided to have another baby, and Betty is now three months along and glowing.
I walked over to Roland who was manning the BBQ and turning the steaks like they were a prized cut.
“How’s it going?” he grinned at me
“Good” I smiled as I looked around at my large family.
I never imagined my life like this, all I used to do was work. Now I have a wife with kids running around. My in-laws who used to run and hide from my kind are now hanging out in my garden and cooking on my BBQ.
“Sorry we are late” Albert apologised as he handed me a bottle of wine.
“That would be my fault” Bethany chuckled
Albert and Bethany were always running off around the world together. They even took the kids with them every now and again. Isla and Lachlan both worked with me at the company while Zara stayed home for now with the younger kids. But she told me that she would only allow me to get her pregnant two more times and then she was getting her tubes removed. I cannot blame her, and she has already given me more children than I could ever wish for.
My life was perfect and more than I could ever have wished for.
