Zane’s POV
I was so impressed with the twins, they took control and did more damage than I could have ever dreamed off. By the time we left to come back to the tower the men were looking at Dennis like they wanted to kill him.
“That was amazing” Betty gasped as she gave the twins a hug
“We just made him tell the truth” Lachlan shrugged “Now the hunters all know what kind of man they were following”
“What is the plan for the rest of the day?” Zara asked “As I know that tomorrow morning the vampires will be here and then the hunt will begin”
“I was thinking of taking Ivy shopping for some items for the house” Gerald told me “We can choose what we want and arrange for delivery when we take possession of the house”
“Can we shop too?” Zara asked
“We will only need a bed, and some draws for when we are at your house” Roland told us “So if you all want to go shopping, we are fine to stay here, and I can get started on dinner”
“We will stay here with you” Bethany told them “Just in case something happens, I have people I can get to furnish my apartment for me during the hunt”
“Usually I would do the same” I chuckled “But if Zara wants to go shopping, then we will go shopping”
“I am sure the twins will want to choose their own beds” Zara told me while rolling her eyes “And if they know how big they will be tomorrow we could get them an outfit”
“We will be the size of a five-year-old” Lachlan told us “We can choose some clothes for the next few days for while the other vampires are here”
“We will be back intime for dinner” Zara told everyone as she took the twins hand and walked over so that the twins could also take my hands.
Once I was holding on to then I moved us to a large mall that I knew would have everything that we would need, including a large bookstore so that Zara could start to fill our new library.
“Let’s start with the bed’s” I suggested “As we need somewhere to sleep”
“And bedding” Zara agreed
We carried on holding hands as we walked around the mall grabbing everything that we would need for our new home. Including some clothing for the kids that would last them for the next week.
“Why am I grabbing clothes for a teenager?” Zara asked once we left the clothing store
“We will grow about two years a night” Lachlan told her “So in a week we will look about 16”
“When will you stop?” she asked
“We will be fully grown in about 10 days” Isla grinned
“So, then you will stop?” I asked them
“Yes” Lachlan nodded “Unless we chose to age more”
“Are we ready to head home?” Zara asked
“Let’s go” I chuckled as we walked down an empty isle and I transported us back to the tower.
“Did you get everything you need?” Bethany asked us
“We did” Zara yawned “It will all be delivered when Zane gives them a call”
“Are the others back yet?” I asked
“Not yet, but you guys were super quick” She smirked as she looked at the bags
“You didn’t get many clothes for the kids”
“That’s because they can only wear an outfit once before they outgrow it” Zara grumbled “They will grow about two years a night. That is just crazy, that in ten days I will have adult children”
“Go relax and read” I told her “I will come and get you when dinner is ready”
“Fine” she sighed as she walked away
“Why is she tired?” I asked Bethany as soon as she was gone
“It’s been a full on few days” she shrugged “Or the birth control didn’t work and she is knocked up”
“Is that possible?” I asked with a huge grin on my face
“Yes” Lachlan giggled
“Mummy is having another baby” Isla singed
“Fuck” I groaned “She is going to castrate me”
“I will watch the twins” she told me “ I would start giving her blood now and I will do a scan on her after dinner”
“Let’s just hope she does not kill me” I groaned as I went to break the news to Zara.
“Did you miss me already?” Zara asked as she was only just walking into our room.
“I have something to tell you” I groaned “Please don’t kill me, as it’s not my fault”
“What?” she asked “You cannot have done anything wrong in the short time I have been away”
“I need to start giving you blood again” I told her hoping she would read between the lines.
“What?” she looked confused and then I saw the moment it clicked and she snarled at me “I am on birth control”
“I know” I groaned “But it looks like I have super sperm”
“Our twins are only two days old?” she screamed “How the fuck is that even possible and how do you know?”
“I have a hunch and the twins confirmed it, Bethany said she will do a scan after dinner”
“Fuck after dinner” she growled “She is doing it now”
“Ok” I agreed as I tried to hide my smirk. Bethany was already waiting for us when we arrived back.
“Come on” she laughed as she led the way to her clinic.
“If I am pregnant what the hell can I use to stop it happening? Or do I just not let him fuck me?” Zara snapped
“Condoms?” Bethany suggested “Honestly I have no clue, the IUD should have worked”
Zara grumbled under her breath as she climbed on the bed and lifted her top up.
“Zane won’t use a fucking condom” she sighed
“Let’s just check first” Bethany chuckled as she poured on the gel before pushing the wand to Zara’s stomach.
Zara gasped as we all saw the image of a baby on the screen.
“Fuck you and your super sperm” she growled
“Hey, at least its only one this time” I tried to tell her just as Bethany moved the wand and showed the second child.
“Fuck” she sobbed
