Alia’s POV
The weekend was a scary one for me cause everywhere I turned or looked I felt there was someone watching me, I was basically paranoid, I still couldn't tell Mum about what was going on, I didn't want her freak out and then make us move again, somehow, I've come to love this place, maybe because of my friends or because of a certain blonde boy.
"So, you won't be attending the party because you feel you are being followed? “Tracy asked with disappointment written all over her face.
"No, I won't be attending the party because Claire would be there, and I don't want any scene with her “I said folding my clothes and putting them in the wardrobe.
"You are a bad liar you know, for God’s sake if you don't attend the drama club party, we would officially be hated by everyone in school and that is not good at all “Tracy said as she played with my teddy on the bed.
We were invited by the drama club president to a secret party but honestly, I wasn't interested, and you wouldn't blame me.
"Fine let them hate me but am not going and that is final" I said as I folded the last clothing and closed my wardrobe.
"Zion is coming" Tracy said.
I rolled my eyes at how desperate she was becoming. “Zion really you are going down that lane now?" I said and climbed on the bed.
"True it's a secret party for all the celebrities in our school of course Zion is coming “Tracy said dramatically
"No, Tracy respect my decision please “I said
"I won't cause if you don't go, then I won't go and I would be so sad for the rest of my life “Tracy said, more like whined.
"Okay, fine, I would go but I promise to hate you of the rest of my life, I promise “I said and stood up from the bed.
"Hating me can be fixed, hurray am so happy!!!! C'mon go get dressed already “Tracy said with excitement which made me roll my eyes at how a stupid party could make her this happy.
I chose a pink crop armless top and a matching skirt that was actually too short for my liking since it was way above my knees but it's a party right, then matched it with a silver sandals and a silver purse.
I put on the clothes and applied make up on my face, I let my hair loose from the pony tail it was in then brushed it, my hair has always been something am grateful for, I took in my appearance in the mirror and was satisfied with the wat I looked, I nodded my head in approval and joined my friend back in the bedroom.
"Woah babe you look stunning, wow at the mention of Zions name Alia dolls up “Tracy said.
"Shut up “I said and left the room with Tracy behind me.
"Hey mama Al we going for a party by the drama club, and we would be back by eight we promise “Tracy said to my Mum who was reading a magazine and taking juice.
"Seven thirty or nothing “Mum said without taking her eyes from the magazine.
"Fine deal seen thirty" Tracy said.
"Take care of yourselves then and be good girls no drinking no boys and no drugs understood “Mum said "Yes ma’am “Tracy said, and we left.
After a few minutes’ drive we were at the venue of the party, which was in the drama club Presidents house, when we entered the place was already filled up with students, somewhere at the bar, somewhere playing games and somewhere in the pool, there was a big banner that said welcome hanging in the front of the house, I was overwhelmed.
"Wow this is a miracle the Trey girl came! “Daniel said as he approached us, he pulled me into a warm hug then gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"Wow a jealous, where is my hug “Tracy said.
"You want a hug? Your adorable pumpkin wants a hug “Daniel said like he was talking to a baby, Tracy just rolled her eyes and left causing I and Daniel to laugh.
"Dramatic much" Daniel said and took a sip of whatever he was drinking.
Subconsciously I was looking around searching for something or rather someone, I didn't mean to do it, but u believe my heart took control and I found myself longing to see him.
"He is at the basketball ball court behind “Daniel said.
"What....who....w... I. What...I... I....I.....have no idea what.... what...you.... are referring to “I stuttered in embarrassment.
"Zion Alia Zion is at the basketball court, I know you were looking for him “Daniel said and Chuckled.
"Maybe, maybe not, or I am looking for where Tracy went “I said as embarrassment washed through me, I honestly didn't even know why.
"Am your bestie babe I know you so go meet your man “Daniel said and left.
"Daniel do not leave me else I would kill you “I said threatening him.
"Yeah right" he shouted.
"Hey babe here I got you orange juice “Tracy said and handed me the cup of juice.
"Thanks" I said and took everything in one gulp.
"Easy girl why did you do that? “Tracy asked with a frown on her face.
"Am nervous that's all “I said.
"Why would you be? “Tracy asked
"Zion he is heading this way" I said.
"So, what you are the girlfriend and there is nothing anyone can do about that and if your man wants to be with you there is no need to be nervous “Tracy said and took a sip of her drink.
"Yeah right, relationship adviser “I said
"At your service babe “Tracy said and bowed dramatically. I shook my head and prepared my mind as Zion was almost close to us.
"Hey babe" he said and pulled me into a hug the pecked me on my forehead.
I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown as I did not know what a girlfriend is supposed to do when your boyfriend hugs you in a party.
"Hey why so tensed up?" Zion asked with concern on his face.
"No... nothing" I said.
"Hey hey, look at me you don't need to do anything, stop over thinking things okay, let's just go with the flow “Zion said and kissed me or more like pecked me on the lip.
"Okay, how have you been? “I asked.
"Without you? Very horrible “he answered with one of his brows raised.
"Cheesy much “I said blushing, I was sure my cheeks were as red as a tomato already.
"Truth babe, had any drinks yet? “he asked as we made our way to the basketball court, with his hands on my hips, where his hands rested sent electricity through my whole body, how could an innocent touch make me feel this was, I looked up at him and found him already looking at me which made me blush even harder and I looked away.
"You are very funny Liaison whispered in my ears.
Which made me even blush harder, Lord have mercy my cheeks where about to explode cause of the too much blushing.
"Hey Zion baby" Claire said as we entered the court, she was making her way to him but stopped as she saw me, well if looks could kill I would have been dead in the spot.
"Baby I know you are doing this to hurt me, well you already have and am sorry for offending you, please stop this charade with this dumb girl already “Claire said and placed her hands on Zions’s chest.
He took a step backwards like her touch burns him, the took my hands and walked pass her like she wasn't talking to him.
"Zion am talking to you!!!!"Claire shouted angrily.
"Zion answer her “I said as we took our seat.
"Hey, Claire, my babe said I should answer you, you need to be thankful to her cause that's the only reason why am doing this, Claire gets this in that spoilt brain of yours, am with Alia now and this is not a charade I love her and honestly I want to be with her for the rest of my life, if you have a problem with it go see a doctor “he said.
Claire wanted to clap back as always but the pain she was feeling couldn't let her say a word, she gave Alia a death glare and left the court.
"That wasn't what I wanted Zion “I said.
"That's what she deserves" he said and pecked me on my cheek.
After the drinking and dancing and watching Zion play basketball it was finally time to go home, I checked my time and it was seven twenty already, I picked up my bag and said a good night to Zion who insisted on dropping me home, but I refused, I went upstairs to look for Tracy so we could start leaving, I saw Daniel and Pearl making out, so I didn't bother to disturb them.
I searched and searched for Tracy, but she was nowhere to be found, I checked my time again and it was seven twenty-five already, I groaned in frustration as I still couldn't find Tracy, I stood at the top of the stairs to see if I could see her in the crowed of crazy high school students, but to no avail, she was nowhere in sight.
"Goodbye Alani heard someone say behind me and before I knew what was happening, I was pushed and I began to roll down the staircase, and when my head came in contact with the ground everything became blurry, and I was drawn into a thick darkness.
"Alia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
