“Mom can Elijah and Emmerson come and visit” Maxi asked me. “Yes, Maxi they can come and visit. It has been 5 years since everything happened. I had two more boys, Kia, and Trey, and they both are Alpha’s. After they were born, we decided we wouldn’t have any more children. Alpha Russo and his pack disappeared over a span of a week and about three months later a new pack moved there. Red Moon pack. Alpha Valencia and his mate is around our age.
Their youngest son is Elijah Valencia, he is two years older than Maxi and Sage. They moved al the way from Italy to here. The moment Maxi met Elijah they became best friends. And then when the boys went to school they met Emmerson, who is the son of Alpha Brown. Elijah is an Alpha whereas Emmerson is an Omega, but he doesn’t look like one. They are best friends and are almost always together.
What we also find cute, not Nash though, is that Sage has a liking for Elijah. If she is not with one of her brothers or with one of us, she is with Elijah. Nash doesn’t like it that our little girl has someone she likes, but there is nothing we can do to stop her because they are still young, and he is her only friend beside Emmerson and her brothers.
“Hi Luna Dill” Elijah and Emmerson greeted when they saw me in the kitchen. I smiled at them. “Hey boys, you guys can play in the back yard but please ask, Keiran, Kasey or Zain or your dad to look after you while you play” I tell them and also mind linking the people I named to tell them. Because these three boys here will run off to somewhere if they aren’t watched.
“Yes mom” Maxi replied and off they went. Nash took over as Alpha about three years ago and I took over and Luna. Our parents still live here but they are traveling to some place ever time. I finished with the snacks that I was preparing when I felt a tap on my leg. I looked down and saw that Sage was there. I smiled and picked her up and placed her on the counter next to me. “Hey baby girl” I said to her.
“Who is here” she asked quietly. “Ohh, Elijah and Emmerson” I replied, and her face brightened when she heard Elijah was here. I smiled sadly at her. I placed her on the ground and took the snacks and walked outside with her. It has been 5 years since everything that happened, but she still has nightmares. She also doesn’t just go to anybody and never says anything if she doesn’t know you. She is still terrified over everything and Maxi and now her other two brothers are very protective over her.
That is why school was hard for her, but the teachers understood and helped out a lot. She has gotten a lot better, but she is still not fully healed. Elijah is also helping a lot with her not being so afraid of Alpha’s anymore. I won’t tell Nash, but I think Elijah might be Sage mate. “Mack” Elijah said when he saw her. He is the only one who calls her that. Her brothers call her Zen or Sage or sis, the rest of us call her Sage or baby girl and Elijah just said he wanted to call her something that nobody calls her, so he calls her Mack.
She ran to them to play, and the rest of the kids also played with them. I went and sat down with the rest of the parents and watched them play. When Elijah’s parents came to fetch them, I walked with him and Nash to greet them. “Alpha Valencia, Luna Valencia, it is good to see you guys” I said. “Really Dillion, when will you stop with that” Stella asked. I just laughed. “So, we wanted to know, it is Maxi and Sage’s birthday in two weeks, would you guys like to come to the party” Nash asked them.
“Please mom, dad” Elijah asked his parents. “Everybody will be there, even Emmerson’s family” he said. His parents just laughed. “Yes, we will come, see you guys later, come Elijah we have to go, your grandparents are here” Quincy said, and they left.
The next two weeks were so busy, getting everything ready for the party. Our parents also came back to help and to celebrate Maxi and Sage’s birthday. They are turning 8 years old. The day before there party, Maxi, Sage, Kia, Trey, Emmerson and Elijah were playing in the backyard while the parents sat and watched them. The children didn’t wan to go home and tried to le us have a sleep over but we all said they will see each other the next day.
The last to leave was Quincy, Stella, and Elijah. “Bye Max, Kia, Trey, Luna Dill and Alpha Nash” he greeted then walked towards Sage and gave her a hug. I saw that Luna Stella had a sad smile but thought I imagined it. “Bye Mack” he said to her. They then walked out. Elijah turned around and said “Remember our promise” he said. “You mean that we will always be friends and return to each other wherever we are” everybody shouted and with that they left…
We just didn’t know that it would be the last time we would ever see Alpha Quincy Valencia, Luna Stella Valencia, Elijah Valencia, Parker Valencia, Owen Valencia, Deniece Valencia, and Jessica Valencia.
