Dillion pov

“And as far as I know, my mother and father has only one child and that is me, so I have no sister and have no brotherly duty to someone, and why should I give your daughter my mate, my man, Alpha Beck” I asked him. They were furious. “You…” Alpha Beck started. “Watch you mouth” dad spat at them.

“Alpha Beck this is a happy night, if you continue like this, we will have to asked you to leave” Dad Gabriel stated. Alpha Beck smiled. “Sorry about the fuss Alpha Gabriel” Alpha Beck said. He then grabbed his daughter and wife and they disappeared somewhere too. I felt arms wrapped around my middle. “Are you okay” Nash asked me. “Yeah, I am fine, I finally told him what I wanted so I am happy” I said and kissed his cheek.

We mingled the rest of the night. Right after we ate the babies fell asleep and we pushed them around in their strollers not leaving them alone. After the ball ended at around 11 pm I decide to take the babies home. “Hey, love I am going to take the babies home” I said to Nash. “Okay babe, I will join you guys after we are done, let one of the guards help you to take the strollers back” he said and kissed my cheek.

I got one of the guards to help me get the strollers home. When both strollers were inside the guard left. I grabbed Maxi with his blanket and walked upstairs to go and placed him in his cribbed. I made sure that he was comfortable and covered with his blanket before exiting the room. Just as I stepped outside the room, I felt that something was off. I felt a hand over my mouth and in that moment, I closed the babies door and it locked. If the babies door is closed you can only open it with a key card that Nash, me (Mine is hidden), Dad, Mum, Keiran, Zain and Kasey, Dad Gabriel, and Mum Aurora and then Carlos has for a backup. And the keys are always secured. Because after the card you need to put in your unique code.

So, I know for a fact Maxi was safe. I was feeling myself losing consciousness. My last thought before I passed out was, please don’t take Sage, please let her be safe and that they haven’t found her yet and that our unborn child/children are safe. I then passed out.

Nash pov

After Dillion left to take the babies home, we send the last of the guests off. “Look I don’t know about you guys, but I am tired, and I am going home” I said to them. “Agreed, we will clean up tomorrow” dad said. “Night dudes give the babies a kiss from us” Zain said. “I will” I replied. “I will pick them up tomorrow at 8” Keiran said, and everybody looked at him. “I promised I will take them out” he said. “What we wouldn’t do for those little monsters” Carlos said. We all laughed and nodded our heads.

With that I walked back to our house. When I came to our house something was off because our front door was open. He probable forgot that it was open. I walked inside. “Dillion” I said when I entered our house. I got no reply back. Something is wrong. There is a scent here that doesn’t belong here. I ran upstairs and saw the babies room door was closed. I quickly opened it with the card and code. “Dad something is wrong” I yelled through the mind linked.

He mind linked me back but I didn’t hear a thing. Only Maxi was in the room. I grabbed a crying Maxi and held him close to me. “Mommy” was all that he cried. “Shh baby boy Daddy is here” I said while keeping him close to me. I ran to our room with Maxi in my arms. Dillion nor Sage was there. I then looked through the whole house. They were not there. With Maxi still crying I slide down on the kitchen floor trying to calm myself and Maxi.

“Son” I heard someone say. Then everyone came into the kitchen. “They are gone” I said. “Somebody took them” I yelled. “They took my mate and children” I yelled. I felt hands go around me. I looked at the person. It was my mother. “They took them mom” I said to her. We kept quiet and around us everybody was looking for clues, Maxi fell asleep a while ago. I passed him to my mother. “Nash where are you going” my sister asked me. “To find my mate and child” I replied. I stood up and walked towards the babies room.

When I arrived my father, Uncle’s, Uncle Kenndrick, Andrew, and my friends were there even my grandfather was there. “Nash, where is Maxi” my father asked when he saw me. “He is with Ria” I answered. “You should be with your son” my grandfather said. “No what I should be doing is finding my mate and child, so that Maxi will have his mother and sister back” I replied while looking for clues.

“There is nothing here son, we think Dillion closed the door before they could enter and get to Maxi” Uncle Kenndrick said. With that I walked out of the house and shifted into my wolf. I smelled for the scents I was looking and went off in a direction. I ran and ran until the sun came up. While I was running something bumped into me. “That is enough son” my father’s voice came through my mind. “I have to find them” I said back. “You also have a duty to your son, to be there for him and not to leave him alone” he said. “But…” I started.

“No buts, get back to your son and get some sleep, you can sleep at our house, but just go to your son, we will sort this out tomorrow” he said. With that we both ran back to the house. When I arrived, I shifted back and put on some clothes before taking a crying Maxi from Ria. I then walked with him to my parents house where I went to my old room. I climbed into the bed with him, and after a few minutes he fell asleep crying and I followed a few minutes later.
