Dillion pov
I almost punched him. Uncle Gabriel grabbed me. “No thank you, my son already has his mate, and his children if they choose to, are strong enough to take over our Pack and that is none of your business or concern,” Uncle Gabriel said. “And Dillion has no obligation to you or your family since you decided to sell him when he was younger and if I remember you said whoever takes him, must keep him because if he is sold, he is no longer part of your family,” my mom said, while coming up to where we stood.
“He is my and my husband’s son and as far as I know we don’t have a daughter, so he has no younger sister” my mother replied. I teared up a little at hearing my mother’s words. Yes, I may not be their biological child, but they are still my parents and my family. “Now if you would excuse us, we need to put the babies down for their nap, so we need to get going,” Nash said while holding a sleepy Sage.
He then turned around with the rest of us and we walked to the table where we sat and packed our things. While walking away we heard, “But I promise I can give you everything he can give you and so much more,” the blond alpha girl screamed. Nash turned around and smiled. “I doubt that you can because you can’t give me the children I already have or the family I already have, and I love Dillion not you,” he said while walking away.
We then walked out of the zoo and to our cars. We placed the babies in their car seats and climbed in while driving home. Halfway home Ria said, “The babies are sleeping.” “Thank you, sis,” Nash replied. A few minutes later we arrived at the pack house. I climbed out and got Sage out of her car seat, while Nash got out Maxi. We were trying to be careful not to wake them up because they had a busy day.
“Okay, guys go and do what you have to do and meet me in the office in 30 minutes. I then followed Nash to a room in the pack house. I was so confused, but when he opened the door, I was shocked. It was a room for the babies. “How and when did you do this” I asked him. “Well, the night we came back to the pack house after leaving you guys, I ordered a lot of baby items” he replied.
“And then from the next day we started placing everything where it was supposed to be,” he said while walking into the room. He walked to one crib and placed Maxi into the crib. I followed Nash into the room and placed Sage into the other crib. “It looks beautiful, thank you, Nash,” I said and kissed his cheek. “Well, I wanted everything ready for when you and the babies came, and I am glad I did it earlier rather than later,” he said with a smile on his face.
He stood behind me while holding my waist and we both looked at the babies sleeping. A few minutes later my mother, Aunty Aurora and Granny Claire came into the room. “You guys go to the office, and we will watch the babies while you are away, don’t worry Gabriel already told us everything,” Aunty Aurora said. “Thank you, mom,” Nash replied. We then walked to the babies and kissed both their heads before leaving the room and walking to Uncle Gabriel’s office.
While walking to the office Nash asked, “I wanted to ask you earlier, but what did you and my dad talk about and the entrance of the zoo.” “Mandy and her parents came to your father the previous day, to ask him if she could meet me, so I told him I would do it but not without you guys there,” I said. “So is that why we are going to my father’s office now, to meet them” he asked. “Yeah, I think so” I replied.
We then reached the office. Nash knocked and we entered the office. When Nash opened the door, and when we walked inside the office we saw Zain’s father, Keiran’s father, Zain, Keiran, Andrew, Ria, Zain’s mother, Keiran’s mother, my dad, Uncle Gabriel, Grandpa Ben, Mandy, Danny (Mandy’s brother), Uncle Neil (Mandy’s father), and Aunty Stacy (Mandy’s mother) already in the office waiting for us. Nash growled when he saw Mandy. I grabbed his arm and led him to an open chair where we sat down.
“Don’t worry little bro, that was all of our response when we saw her here” replied Andrew with a scowl directed at Many. “Yeah, and if Andrew didn’t stop me, I would have punched her right here right now, but Dad said that she wanted to talk to Dillion, and he asked that we all be here with him while she talks” Ria replied.
“Yeah, you guys should’ve seen Ria, she almost ripped her head off” Zain laughed. I then saw Nash smile a little at that. Then Mandy looks at us. “Please Nash just hear me out, I just want to explain,” she said. Nash growled while holding me closer to him. “Explain what, why you threatened my mate, threatened to kill my children, there is no explaining why you did that, and no reason will ever be enough for why you did it, so this is just a waste of words for you,” he said to her.
Her face fell. I turned to look at him. I then whispered in his ear, yes, I know everyone can still hear what I am saying because of werewolf hearing. “Please, Nash, I want to know why, why she always said what she said and why she did what she did, we may not forgive her, but I want to know the reason, whether it is real or fake,” I asked him.
He looked into my eyes. “I don’t like this, if I had a choice, I would’ve kicked her out of the pack a long time ago and let her not be near you or the babies” he replied. I smiled and kissed his cheek. “I know” I replied. He sighs.
