The family were eating on the dining table, no one was talking, they were equally surprised to see Alex home but wasn't with Mia, they were scared.

"Alex, " he paused looking at his eyes to see if he would object before he continued, "We welcome you back home, it was really a surprise meeting you at home but where is Mia? We are all worried, even your mother

Karen whose face was filled with worry, nodded in agreement, she was worried and had so many questions to ask but she kept it cool, thinking she would say something hurtful but she was more glad that James did the talking

Mia eyes were etched on Carolina, her eyes were pale, and different from when she last saw her, thanks that she had came, leaving Ella inside with tears flowing from bed eyes wasn't the best idea but she also knew if she had not gone out, Ella might do something crazy
