Lucy
Matt pulled me onto the dancefloor to dance with him.
“I don’t know how to dance,” I said.
“Doesn’t matter,” Matt said.
He led me around and he really didn’t seem to care, happy to just spin me around in whatever way he wanted.
Suddenly, he stopped as Tony interrupted sometime in the middle. He pulled me close, leading me around slowly and not caring that I stepped all over his feet.
Then, the music stopped. I looked around, wondering if that meant the whole ceremony was over. Everyone had worked so hard to make the ceremony and reception as pretty as possible. It seemed a bit like a waste for it to be over so soon.
“Come on,” Tony said.
Tony and Matt pulled me to the center of the room. I glanced around. Everyone was watching us, but I didn’t know why. I had never been to a wedding, let alone a werewolf wedding. Was this normal?
“Our first gift of many,” Tony said, holding a small box out to me.
He opened it after a second and revealed a large blue gemstone inside. I didn’t know what it was for, but as Matt took it out of the box and pinned it in my hair, I tried to smile. It felt heavy and cold, but it was nice that they had given me something.
“Is this… like the werewolf version of a wedding ring?”
His lips twitched. “Sure. It’ll look better when your hair is longer.”
Tony rolled his eyes. “It looks perfect just as it is.”
Everyone clapped again, and soon, Matt was pulling me out of the banquet hall. As soon as the doors of the hall closed behind us, he pushed me up against the wall and kissed me deeply.
He groaned. “Finally, I can get you out of this—”
Tony pulled him back and away from me. “Not here.”
Tony scooped me off my feet and kissed me, licking into my mouth and carried me towards the stairs. The kiss was gentler than before, but I could still feel his irritation in the way he threw me on his bed. Matt huffed.
“What about my room?” I asked.
Tony didn't reply. He was too busy trying to get my dress off. Then, I felt Matt get on the bed beside me. He pulled at my dress and got the pins out of my hair.
“Finally,” he groaned.
Tony slipped off the bed and threw all of my clothes over his shoulder. Soon, I was completely naked. Matt put his hand between my legs and kissed me again as Tony got undressed. I could hear his clothes hitting the ground. When Tony came back, he crawled between my legs and pulled me towards him. He pushed into me and slid his hand into my air. I froze and pulled back.
Tony groaned and thrust into me. I shuddered at the feeling of him inside me, even as I tried to push him off. He didn’t budge, clinging tighter to me.
“Tony, please.”
He lifted up and looked down at me. “What is it?”
“It's gone….”
I whispered, feeling so embarrassed that it was gone and I had just now realized it. I reached out to where the gemstone had been clipped my hair but it was gone. I looked around, thinking maybe they knocked it off when we came upstairs, but I didn't see it. I tried to get up, but Tony pushed me back down, holding me in place.
“What are you talking about?”
“Your gift…” I said. “It’s gone. I must have dropped it. I could—"
He scoffed as Matt crawled back onto the bed, and he started to thrust into me again.
“Don't worry about it. We can buy you another one.”
“But, you just—”
Tony kissed me again, and I couldn't say much else as Matt started touching me. I gasped and tried to hold on as Tony had his way with me. When he came, he slid out of me, and a second later, Matt pushed inside me.
I don’t know how long we had sex, but I noticed the late evening light streaming through the window, growing darker and darker the longer we had sex.
Peter
“When you're ready Alpha Peter.”
I looked around searching for her again. it seemed that those two had already switched her away from the floor and were busy enjoying their new mated life. it was a shame she was quite a pretty little thing. I walked out of the banquet hall and down the hallway. Then, something caught my eye. I stopped, kneeled, and picked it up. The blue gemstone glinted in the low light of the hallway and I remember seeing it in the new luna of Blue Moon’s hair.
Lucy, I believe, was her name. I ran my finger over it, imagining what it must be like to run my fingers through her hair.
“Alpha Peter, your car's arrived.”
I walked past the servant of the Blue Moon Pack with The Hairpin in my hand. I got into the car, closed it, and pulled it back out to look at it. The car pulled away from the house.
Then, my phone rang. It was my beta calling.
“So, is it true they have a luna now?”
“Yes. Mated the traditional way.”
He scoffed. “How long will it take before Tony will start being able to push and pull those old men the way he wants?”
I ran my hand over the surface of the hem and smirked.
“Longer than he imagines, but not long enough to rest easily, I believe. See what you can find out about their Luna. Her name is Lucy, and it didn’t seem as though she was from within their pack….”
I paused, thinking back to the interaction she had with David of the Blood Moon Pack.
“Check our sources with the Blood Moon Pack as well.”
I hung up, and for a moment, I imagined it was still warm from where it had been on her head. I lifted it to my nose, and I could still smell her soft vanilla scent.
