No longer want him

No longer want him
Without a warning, I felt a sharp pain rip through my back as Torren shoved his claws inside me again. The pain amplified and I coughed out blood. Every muscle in my body quivered and tears swirled at the edges of my eyes.

Before he could kill me, I found a little strength to run away from him and his filthy wolf. The ache didn't stop and it wasn't going to anytime soon.

I raised my head to look at the males standing, hoping any of them would come for my rescue-hoping Kade could come for my rescue but he didn't. He totally didn't want me as his mate and he didn’t care if I was killed. He just stood there and watched me without any remorse in his eyes, it caused me more pain that what was crippling inside me.

I let out a soft blow as a tear escaped my eyes. This wasn't going to be the end of me. I wasn't going to get defeated. I was a woman of my own, I fought for myself, made my own rules, and survived.

I survived.

For three fucking years as a rogue.

There was no way I was going to let a wolf kill me.

Being a Rogue was better than being Kade's mate.

I pushed my pain aside and shifted into a wild beast. A beast that couldn't be harmed or defeated.

My wolf.

The everlasting pain coursing through my body didn't come to an end when I shifted, revealing my dark wolf to everyone in the packhouse-including Kade. A choice had to be made quickly and when I did have any option, I shifted. Anger boiled deep in my system as I fixated my attention at Torren who seemed to back away. The hunger for injuring and bleeding him to death was strong.

He messed up with the wrong wolf.

I charged at him without a warning, bit into his warm flesh and wounded him. Mercy wasn't valid. I ripped him apart till he purred like a wounded wolf. That was my cue to escape. Too much damage was done, I was hurt and my wolf was revealed. I peeked to my side and found a way to escape.

When I glanced back at Kade, I found compassion surfacing his wild eyes as he came into realization. There was no way I was going to stay here for another moment. My heart wrenched and cried along with my wolf as I ran, making my way out of the pit.

Shockingly he followed me.

Kade himself.

I sensed it. His wolf behind me, trying to get a hold of me but I was faster-faster than an Alpha. I was trained to be a wild monster, I was trained to kill Alpha's, beat them and destroy their packs. Sympathy or regrets weren't going to do any good now, I had made my mind up, to leave and never return, to make sure that Torren would wither with pain and a craving that only I could fulfill.

The breeze shifted and the weather turned cold as I ran through the bare and wintry woods that led to the north where I could find shelter for a few days. The northern leaders-Alpha's were more cold, and old. That's where I came from, a town in the north and that was where I was going now.

Yes I escaped from there , three years ago but now I had no other option.

The splinters in the woods pierced into my paws, causing a bit of uproar in the pain that was already in my body but I didn't stop there. I ran for a few more minutes, the time passed by quickly and once I reached the snowy mountains, I stopped.

Looking down, I found the rough woods and the city ahead of me. I was far away from it. Kade could never know which route I took, he could never find me.

When I shifted back into a human, I fell on the ground, my bare back rubbing against the snow as I looked up at the sky. My throat clenched as tears came out of me. There was a lot of pain. More than I could handle. I sobbed and whimpered like a child and curled into a tight ball to keep myself warm. My cheeks turned wet and I closed my eyes tightly.

Everything was ruined.

The chances of ever being with someone-being in love, was ruined. My mate didn't like me. He wanted me to suffer. He liked it when he saw Torren fight me to death.

I was ruined just like the rogue I was. I had no home, no friends, and no family to look back too. Wherever I went, I was fucked, literally, in the ass. Three years ago, this pack was my hope and it was all great. It was fun running as a rogue through out until I was captured. The chances of living the same life were impossibly low. There was no purpose of my life.

I didn't want any mate now

I had to hide in the shadows, away from packs, away from Alpha's and away from wolves to keep myself alive.

That was all.

The air around me grew still as my sobs echoed into the emptiness of the mountains. My wolf whimpered inside me, still raw from the pain of rejection and the fight. She wanted to run back, to confront Kade one last time, but I couldn’t. There was nothing left to say, nothing left to feel but this endless void.

I forced myself to my feet, shaky and weak, the snow biting at my bare skin. The frigid air was a harsh reminder of my vulnerability. I needed warmth, a place to rest, and time to heal. My gaze swept over the mountainside, and in the distance, I spotted a faint light flickering—a cabin, perhaps? Shelter.

Wrapping my arms around myself, I trudged through the snow toward the light, every step a battle against my battered body and wavering will. The light grew brighter as I approached, and soon I could make out the outline of a small, worn cabin nestled against the trees. Smoke curled lazily from its chimney.

I hesitated. My wolf growled low in my chest, wary of the unknown. Whoever was inside might not take kindly to a rogue showing up uninvited. But I had no choice. If I stayed out here much longer, the cold would claim me.
