Slave of the Enemy

"I was sold to the enemy." When the aliens invaded Earth, everything we knew collapsed. Desperate to survive, my family made an unthinkable decision: to offer me as a slave to the leader of the invading planet in exchange for protection. I prepared myself for the worst, for endless torment at the hands of the enemy. But when I was brought before Kael, the mysterious and powerful alien leader, my life changed in ways I could never have predicted. Instead of condemning me to suffering, he offered me protection and a place by his side. I didn’t understand why, and part of me still struggles to accept this new reality. As the days go by, I begin to see Kael as more than just an enemy. He confuses me, intrigues me, and to my surprise, I start to realize that maybe it’s not just fear that keeps me here. There’s something more between us, something that shouldn’t exist between a prisoner and her captor. Our romance is forbidden, dangerous, and it threatens everything we both know. Amidst betrayals, conspiracies, and the war that still rages between our worlds, I must discover whom I can trust and what I’m willing to sacrifice. Kael is torn between his duty to his people and the feelings that are beginning to grow between us. And I... I have to decide if I can truly love the man I should hate.
