Chapter 7

Truth is, he’s my little brother, and I'll make him stay that way. He’s always been a brother to me, and he'll be nothing more. No matter how much obsessed he is with me, doesn’t change the fact that “violent delights have violent ends”. We don’t defy Shakespeare here. It stands true, always.

“Lev…” Reign breathes out, gripping harder on my thigh, making me look at him. What does he want now?

“What is it, Reign?” I look quizzically at him, when I see him shake his head.

“Leave it. Nevermind.” He replies, before looking out of the window. See, this has become awkward, hasn’t it? That’s why I never fuck my friends or people I genuinely care about, because the relationships never stay the same as they used to.

The rest of the car ride is quiet. A solemnly quiet atmosphere enveloping us both; where we occasionally keep glancing at eachother, but no one speaks a word because they're too afraid to pick the topic up. When we finally pull up in the parking of the school, Reign hastily gets down from the car without even throwing a glance at me. Wow, the situation is detoriating.

I take a deep breath, as I get out of the car, slingling my bagpack on my right shoulder and I lock the car. I quickly put the keys inside the bag, as I rush towards the school entrance. Reign is nowhere to be seen. Probably he’s gone to his class. I walk towards the locker as I take a few books out, before closing it when a hand rests on my back.

“Hey Levy!” My best friend Lucifer cries out in happiness. Woah, dude. Go easy, there. “Hey, Luc!” I reply, as I hug him tight. Uh, I've missed him, though it has been only two days since we last met. “What class do you have now?” He reluctantly asks me, leaning against my locker after we break away from our embrace.

“It’s Calculus, or so I think.” I look at him, while he scans me with his hooded eyes. “Okay. You seem a bit off colour. Something wrong?” He grabs my wrist, to prevent me from backing off. Oh shit. “Nothing is wrong, Luc. You’re being paranoid.” I stutter, avoiding his hard stare. “Fine. Tell me when you want to.” He says, patting me on the back once more as he disappears in the hallways.

Nothing escapes his eyes, right? Ofcourse nothing does. He’s my best friend. He has always knew when something was wrong. And he’s physically attractive as well. A tall guy, a bit shorter than me, black wind swept hair, a pale marble like complexion, and deep azure eyes. Definitely would’ve spent a night with him, if he wasn’t my best friend. Plus, he is in the football team as well. Honestly speaking, we jocks, are tad overwhelming.

I sigh, as I proceed to head over to my class, when suddenly I bump into someone and a hot, scalding liquid falls on chest, quickly soaking through the white t-shirt, I had just wore. I wince, when the hot liquid comes in contact with my body. Fuck, who the hell did this? And what is that liquid? When I look at my t-shirt, I find it having a huge coffee stain, and a girl is gazing at me with her puppy eyes. Guess she’s the one who did this.

“I’m so sorry!” She quickly apologizes, rummaging a handkerchief out of her jeans pocket, as she reaches over to me, to clean the stain.

“What the hell, huh? Don’t you see where you’re going?” I bark, making her shiver but then she lifts my t-shirt to inspect the burn.

“I didn’t mean to…really…” She mutters an inapt apology, when she peels most of the t-shirt off me, bringing my naked front to her sight.

A blush quickly passes over her facial features, and she avoids looking at my face. She caresses the slightly reddened abs, and she draws in a deep breath. I want to just know what she’s doing with her touches. She particularly doesn’t look like someone who craves for attention. She hastily pulls the t-shirt down again, and I heave a sigh of relief.

“There’s my number. Call me, if you want.” I say, scribbling my number on a paper, as I hand it over to her. I need to get laid, and that to, very soon.
