Chapter 10

I gape at the inscription on the walls with a placid look, as I feel the blood drain from my face. So, somebody knows. And, probably that can be the potential murderer who might be coming after me next. My hands instinctively reaches to my auburn hair, slightly tugging on it, hoping to calm down my raging nerves. It was an accident! We didn’t do that intentionally! It was a pure accident! Holy Christ, that guy should come after me, then why is he going slaughtering innocent people who just have no connection with this?
Who can the next victim be? Max? George? Me? Lucifer? I don’t like where this thing is going. Lucifer and the other two guys should know about this. My phone beeps in my jeans pocket, as I take it out and a message flashes on the screen.
Unknown : “Be at your house at 8, today? Ashley.” My muscles go from tensed to relaxed at once. I could really do with some sex at the moment. The odds aren't really in my favour. Getting laid is the only thing that does keep me sane. I type a quick reply.
Me : “Sure. 54 Park Avenue, the white mansion. Text me when you arrive.” I smile at the screen, as I put the phone back in my pocket. Then another clashing noise shoots around the room, making me jump. Lord, is the guy here? I silently walk towards stall number 3, from where the noise is possibly coming from. My fingers reach the door, as they quietly part the metal door open. The view which lies infront if my eyes, makes me open my mouth, and close it again.
I stand there, dumbstruck gaping at the two naked men wrapped up around eachother in the deserted bathroom. Reign. And Colin. Fury shoots through my veins like adrenaline, as I feel my body heat go up a few notches. Colin shuts his eyes when the fuming football captain, cum the star quarterback comes to his sight. I watch him, as his face flushes crimson red, while Reign just snorts. “EXPLAIN THIS, REIGN!” I shout out, not caring that I scared the living daylights out of Colin, who takes that opportunity and scurries out of the bathroom after collecting his discarded clothes from the bathroom shelf.
“Is there something to explain, Levy?” He huffs, as he crosses his arms across his chest, not caring about the fact that he’s standing stark naked infront of me, not at all bothering to cover himself with clothes.
“How dare you screw someone from MY football team, keeping him from football practise!? We're in Seattle, Reign! Grow the fuck up! Gem High is going to try their best to beat us in the sports arena! Don’t you care about all the effort the whole team to putting under this to uphold our reputation?” I snarl at him, trying my level best not to slap him then and there.
“Sorry, Lev. That guy was just irresistible. The body that he has is just…bewitching. Don’t you see that, huh?” His voice has a mocking tinge to it, but I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy creep to the pit of my stomach. Why do I even care if my brother is fucking someone else? He has always been like that.
“Reign, I warn you this last time. Leave.” I hiss at him, venom dripping from my voice as he just shakes his head and lets out a soft chuckle.
I stand firmly to my ground, when I suddenly feel him too close to me. His hands reach to my cheek, as those green orbs regard me with an intensity that can put the whole world to rout.
“Why won’t you just realise, Lev? How much I love you?” He breathes out, his hands reaching my back, slipping under my jersey.
“No, you don’t love me. You never have. How morbid are your actions, Reign? Trying to seduce your own brother, just because he’s the star footballer, and the hottest guy at school? I know your mind, R. I won’t be a trophy for you to decorate in your list of the people you've charmed into fucking you, though even the thought of that was forbidden.” My voice is calm, bit barely soothing. Whatever I uttered, may be the truth and a part of my mind knows that it is.
“What? You think that low of me?”
“Yes.”
