Chapter 101- Sweet Revenge

Chapter 101- Sweet Revenge
Aria felt her pretty eyes widen the moment she saw both Adrian and Hunter go for each other and throw punches. Hunter was faster but Adrian was more rougher,
“You want to know the truth, here I’ll tell you everything, yes it was me who got someone to kill your mother, I was also the one who got rid of Rosalina and the reason I took up the job of becoming your woman’s bodyguard was because I wanted her dead. I wanted her to suffer the way she made me suffer, its only a matter of time before she will do the same with you as she did to Rylan” Hunter said to Adrian loudly as they both fought each other to the ground.
Adrian punched him on the nose as hard as he could and watched the blood splatter out from it,
“I should have never trusted you and let you in to my circle, Aria was right about you from the very beginning, you were nothing but a waste of space” he said before he punched him again, not giving him enough time to fight back.
Aria walked over to them both and looked down at Adrian, thinking she had never seen him look as angry as he did in that very moment.
“I need to talk to him” she said quietly about Hunter, hoping he listened.
Adrian stopped what he was doing the moment he heard her soft voice and looked up at her, thinking she looked scared.
“You can talk now” he said as he held Hunter down firmly with his knee.
Aria kneeled down next to him and looked down at Hunter who looked angry.
“I need to know if was you who tried to kill me and our unborn son” she said quietly as she remembered that night and felt herself shiver slightly.
Hunter looked up at her grinned with blood still dripping out from both of his nostrils,
“I guess you’ll never know” he said and that was all he had to say before Adrian punched him again, this time on the side of his jaw, making him flinch.
Aria took hold of Hunter’s arm and pulled back his sleeve, thinking there was only one way left to find out if it really was him who had tried to kill her and her unborn son.
The one thing she remembered clearly from that night was that the person who had stabbed her had a small tattoo on their forearm and the only other person she knew who had that exact same tattoo was Rylan.
“It was him Adrian, I remember seeing this tattoo the night it happened” she said the moment her eyes fell on it, and she felt her eyes fill with tears.
Adrian felt the anger built up inside him as he listened to her quietly and remembered the moment, he saw her and their lifeless son in the hospital.
“No one takes from me and gets away with it, I will make you sure suffer for every tear that’s dropped from Aria’s eyes because of you” he said before he tightened the grip he hand on his neck.
Hunter didn’t fight back and just snickered,
“Do as you wish but none of this will bring back everything you’ve lost” he said with a shrug, that only angered Adrian more.
Aria grabbed his arm and twisted it as hard as she could,
“You’re right it wouldn’t but at least it’ll give us some sort of satisfaction to know that in the end you didn’t win. Adrian and I are still together and stronger than ever, even after everything you did to sabotage our relationship” she said coldly.
Hunter tried fighting both of them off, but Adrian didn’t let him move and held him down firmly.
“I may not have done a good job at getting rid of Rylan but with you I definitely will, because this time I have the love of my life here right by my side, to help and guide me. He is the very strength I need to finish you off once and for all” Aria said before she grabbed his neck with both of her hands and dug her fingers into his skin as hard as she could.
Adrian took a step back and let her take control, knowing very well that she was more than capable of finishing him off.
“You’re just a pretty face that likes to break hearts, I hurt everyone else because of you, you’re the cause of all of this, is that so hard to understand” Hunter barked.
Aria put a hand over his mouth and looked down at him heartlessly,
“I wish I never met you or Rylan” she said before she took out a knife from her back pocket.
Hunter looked at her shocked,
“You wouldn’t, I mean would you really be able to live the rest of your life with my blood on your hands?” he asked with a frown, thinking unlike him she had come prepared it seemed.
Adrian held him down firmly and looked at Aria,
“Don’t listen to him beautiful and do as you wish. The night is ours, take your time and enjoy every moment of it” he said quietly as he put his free hand on her shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.
He noticed her hand tremble slightly and knew Hunter was doing a good job at making her doubt her intentions,
“He’s just trying to mess with your head, think of everything he’s done and everything he’s take from us. If it wasn’t for him our son would still be alive and so would mum” he said quietly as Hunter continued to try get out of his strong hold.
Aria listened to Adrian quietly, thinking he was right. She lifted Hunters head up from the floor and slammed it down as hard as she could,
“Even death sounds too good for you right now” she said as she looked down into his dark eyes, with nothing but hate.
Hunter tried to push her away, but Adrian held him down firmly. Aria tightened the grip she had on the knife she was holding in her hand and without giving it a second thought she stabbed Hunter in the chest heartlessly, letting the sharp blade pierce through the few layers of his skin.
Adrian placed his hand over her blood stained one and made sure she didn’t stop. They both stabbed him repeatedly and let his loud screams fill their ears, until that was all they could hear in the quiet night.
Aria felt the strong smell of blood fill her nose as she watched Hunter cough up some blood and take his last few breaths,
“I should have done this sooner” she said before she slowly pulled out the knife from his chest and looked down at him.
Hunter looked up at her and Adrian weakly as he kept falling in and out of consciousness,
“You will regret this, you can get rid of me but not my people, they will always find you” he said with his voice barely above a whisper before he closed his eyes one last time and took his last painful breath.
Aria looked away from the bloody scene in front of her, thinking she couldn’t believe what she had just done.
“You ok beautiful?” Adrian asked her quietly as he pulled her into his arms and kissed her on the top of her head softly, thinking unlike him she wasn’t used to seeing this much blood.
He held her close and gently stroked her back,
“He is dead, isn’t he?” Aria asked Adrian quietly as she held onto him by the front of his shirt, feeling scared and sick to the stomach, even though it wasn’t her first time trying to kill someone.
Adrian looked down at her trembling lips,
“Without a doubt” he said before he leaned down and kissed her softly, hoping it wasn’t a bad decision of making her finish him off as she looked pretty scared, almost like she couldn’t believe what she had done.
Aria hugged him tightly and silently cried in his warm chest, thinking even though Hunter was dead that still didn’t change the fact that she could never see Angela again or hold her little son in her hands.
“Everything will be alright beautiful” Adrian said in her ear quietly before he rested his chin on the top of her head and looked at Hunter’s lifeless body, thinking he still wasn’t done with him just yet.
He called Jared to the house and told him to stay with the body before he took Aria upstairs and helped her wash the blood of her hands.
“We’ll fly to Lyla first thing in the morning” he said before he took off her white blood stained top and tucked her into bed, thinking she looked good despite the situation.
Aria rested her head back against the pillow and looked up at him,
“Please don’t take too long” she said as an unsettling feeling settled in the pit of her stomach, and she felt even more anxious than before.
Adrian kissed her on the forehead softly and gently untied her hair that was all put back in a bun,
“I won’t” he said before he stood up and quietly walked out of the room, thinking both him and Jared had a lot of work to do before sunrise.
It was almost near the crack of dawn when they both finished getting rid of Hunter’s body. Adrian had also got a few of his men to clean up the entire back garden, leaving no trace of a murder scene behind.
He was about to call it a night when he got a phone call from Aria’s younger brother Nate,
“Dads been shot, could you and Aria please come as quickly as you can” he said with the worry clear in his voice.
Adrian raked a hand through his hair and felt his whole world stop for a moment.
“Tell me he’s alright” he said as he prepared himself for the worst, thinking just when he thought his day couldn’t get any more worst, it had.
