Colton
*Four Years Ago*
*I entered the house and glanced around the party. There were couples grinding on each other as the music blared from the speakers. On one side, some were chugging down beer with a beer bong. I glanced to the other side to see a half naked girl lying on the counter as one of the members of the football team took a body shot from her. I glanced to the corner of the room to see a pretty little blonde sitting all alone. I think her name is Jeanne. No, Jenna Bradley. Yeah, that’s the name.
I tugged the collar of my shirt and made my way over to her. I sat down and asked, “What are you doing here all alone, beautiful?”
“Me?” She squeaked.
“Well, I don’t see any other beauties here?”
“You think I’m beautiful?”
“You are the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever laid eyes on.” I said, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
“You must be drunk.” She rolled her eyes and took a sip of her drink.
I yanked the red solo cup from her and sniffed. She hissed, “Hey, that’s mine!”
“You shouldn’t drink anymore of this. It’s drugged.”
“Give. It. Back.”
“I’m trying to help you out, darling. Do you really want to get raped?”
“I-no, I guess not.”
“Colton.”
“What?”
“My name is Colton Davenport, and you are?”
“Jenna.”
“Pleasure to meet you. Just, be careful. I’ll be seeing you around.”
I didn’t want to leave her. I wanted to stay there all night and make sure nobody approached her. The thought of one of these punks touching her made my blood boil. I walked through the party and picked up a bottle of Jameson. I didn’t bother with a cup because I would just be drinking from the bottle. I couldn’t stop thinking about Jenna. How her eyes widened as I yanked the cup out of her hands. The way her nipples protruded through the skin-tight top as I tucked her hair behind her ear. The reason I had to walk away was because my cock was hard. It was raging and angry. Wanted to grab Jenna and take her upstairs and spread her thighs. Fuck her until the sun came up.
“Fuck, stop perving on her. She’s too good for me.” I whispered to myself.
“Colton, there you are.” Candy, one of the cheerleaders cooed. She ran her hands down my arm and pressed herself against me. Any other time, I’d jump right on her, but now I only had one girl on my mind.
“Not now, Candy.” I hissed, gripping her wrist.
Candy let her free hand roam down and place her hand over my cock. “Is this all for me, big boy?”
“Candy, get your hands off me before I make you regret it. You don’t want that, do you?”
“But you know I love it when you hurt me. It makes me so wet.”
I spun her around and pulled her wrists behind her back forcefully, shoving her against the wall. “Don’t fucking play with me!”
“Yes, there he is. The man that gets me off.”
“Candy, go find someone else to fuck tonight. I’m not in the mood.”
“So you can go fuck Jenna?”
“What the fuck did you just say?!”
She turned her head and glared, “You heard me.”
“Candy, you knew what you were getting into when you agreed to just sex—no feelings. You’ve become too attached. This is over—we’re over.”
Candy frowned, tears forming in her eyes, “Please, you don’t mean it.”
“I do. Maybe you’ll get lucky and Benjamin will fuck you. I’m sorry, but we’re done.”
I released her and walked away from the crying girl. I know it was a dick move, but it had to be done. She was acting like we were exclusive. Candy and I weren’t a thing. Just fuck buddies. And now, it’s over. I had a new conquest to chase. The beauty with the striking blue eyes. The one who had my cock hard as a rock. I returned where Jenna had been sitting and clenched my jaw. Tommy was sitting next to her with his arm around her shoulders. I stormed over to them and raised a brow, “Jenna, is he bothering you?”
Tommy glared, “Fuck you, Colton. She’s free to talk to anyone she wants.”
“I’m okay. He was just leaving.” Jenna replied, taking his arm off her shoulders.
“Jenna?” Tommy asked, hurt in his face.
“Please, Tommy. I don’t want to cause a scene. You should just go.”
“Fine. You know where I’m at if you need me.”
I glared at him as he stormed off. I hated Tommy. He hated me. And, why was that? Because of this girl. I knew he wanted her, but I also wanted her. I didn’t deserve her, but I also didn’t want anyone else to have her. I was selfish. I knew it, but I couldn’t help it. She intrigued me.
“Thank you, Colton.” Jenna said, rising from her chair. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek.
“Anytime, sweetheart.” I whispered, inhaling her cherry-vanilla perfume.
Jenna stumbled as she pulled away. Fuck. She was drunk, or was she drugged. My arms wrapped around her waist before she fell, and she began to sway. She giggled as she wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me closer. “Do you want to go to my place? I don’t want to be alone tonight.”
“What to you mean tonight? Where’s your parents?”
“I’m all alone. My family is gone.” She slurred.
“Shh, sweetheart. Where do you live?”
I picked her up and carried her to my car. By the time I placed her in the backseat, she’d fallen asleep. I sighed as I closed the door and leaned against the car. Jake, the quarterback, stumbled towards me and leaned on the car for support. “I need a ride. They took my keys.”
“Sure. Hey, I need a favor. Can I crash at your place?”
“Sure. You know you can. Is that Jenna Bradley?”
“Yes.”
“You do know she’s a virgin, right?”
“I’m not fucking her. Someone drugged her, and she passed out. I don’t know where she lives.”
“She lives on Chestnut and Avenue B. The white house with a wrap-around porch.”
“Okay. I’ll take you home and get her to her house. I do need a favor. I want to know who was giving her drinks. I have my suspicions, but I just want to be sure.”
“It was Tommy. I don’t need to ask around to know. He was slipping her drinks all night.”
I nodded my head, but clenched my fists. Tommy’s plan was clear to me now. He was going to get her good and fucked-up, so he could take her against her will. I dropped off Jake and I took Jenna home. I carried her inside and tucked her into bed. I leaned down and kissed her forehead, “I’ll protect you Jenna. Even if I have to go to jail over it.”*
