Chapter 87 GOODBYE MY FIRST LOVE
Chapter 87 GOODBYE MY FIRST LOVE
Cassian got outside the hotel, and sent a text to Dante.
I'm coming over.
He pocketed his phone, and turned to the hotel. Giving it a last stare, he got into his car, and drove away.
Bella ran out, and saw his car driving away. Rushing back inside, she met Lalissa already up.
"Lissa?..."
Sniffling, she wiped her tears. "Let's go, Bella."
Bella held her. "Are you okay? I'll talk to him—"
"Don't," Lissa cut her off. "It's for the best."
"Lis—"
"I'm going home." Lalissa didn't give her the chance to speak again, before she left the hotel.
Bella ran her hands through her hair. "What's going on?" She got her phone, and texted Ziggy.
Can we meet up?

\[CASSIAN'S HOUSE\]
Lalissa returned home, and met Sara pacing around, looking like she was trying to call someone repeatedly cause she was with her phone.
"Mom." Lalissa smiled, walked to her, and wrapped her arms.
Sara was taken aback. "Lissa, are you okay?"
Lalissa broke the hug. "I'm fine. I just missed you."
Sara raised her brow. "Are you sure?"
Lalissa nodded. "Tell me, why do you look worried?"
"Oh, it's nothing I—" she paused, then continued. "Actually, it's something. The wedding is in three days time. I'm trying to call the florist, and he's not answering."
"Hm," Lalissa muttered, her eyes getting moist with tears. "Congratulations mum."
"Is everything okay? You don't look happy?"
"Sure. I'm going to my room." Lalissa didn't wait for her response, as she took the stairs to her room.
Sara's phone dinged, and she hastily checked her phone, almost dropping it on the floor.
Ace: I've informed the doctors. His body will be moved today. The buyers have scheduled the next three days for the delivery.
Sara typed back: Good. Convince them to make it in the next five days. It's my wedding in three days' time.
Almost immediately, his text came in.
Ace: I'll try.
"Who're you texting?" Someone asked behind Sara, causing her to jolt.
Quickly she hid her phone, and turned around. "Cassian." She placed her hand on her chest. "You scared me."
"Didn't know I would," Cassian replied. "Who were you texting? You looked worried?"
Sara smiled. "The event planners. I want everything to be in order. It's Cassian Reid and Sara McKenzie's wedding, after all." She hugged him, and kissed his chest. "I can't wait."
Cassian trailed his eyes towards Lalissa's room. "Is Lalissa back?"
"She returned a while ago, but she didn't look okay." Sara unwrapped her arm around him. "I wonder if something happened."
"Don't think too much," Cassian hung his arm on her shoulder. "She's an adult. I'm sure she'll come around."
Sara laughed. "I hope so. I can't have my daughter looking like a rat on my wedding day."
"That aside," Cassian said, settling his eyes on her face. "You never told me what happened to her father? How did he die?"
"I didn't?" Sara traced her finger on his chest. "He had a car accident," she sniffed. "It's been years, but I still miss him. He was the best husband I could ever ask for, until I met you."
Rising to her toes, she began going for his lips. He tilted his head, and her lips met his neck.
"I love you so much, Cassian." She stayed in that position.
Cassian allowed her, his eyes going towards the stairs.
The door to Lalissa's room shut. He exhaled softly, knowing she was standing there.
His phone buzzed in his pants. "It's important," he whispered softly, and Sara stepped away from him.
From Ziggy.
Tracked. Azine healthcare.
"I have to leave."
"You just got back."
"It's necessary."
Sara watched his shadow until he closed the door. She got her phone, and sent a text to Ace.
Get someone to follow Cassian. I'm suspicious.

\[LALISSA'S ROOM\]
Lalissa laid on the bed, using the pillow to cover her mouth as tears poured out of her eyes uncontrollably.
She had gone inside her room, and upon hearing Cassian's car, she had come out because she wanted to see his reaction. If his face was cold, troubled, or normal, she met him and her mom discussing their wedding.
He never loved her. He never did. He only used her to satisfy himself.
The muffled sound grew louder, and she kept pushing the pillow inside her mouth.
Her tears and saliva soaked the pillow.
Tracing her palm on the bed, she found her phone at the side of the bed.
She raised her head, and clicked Sienna's number.
Lalissa: He broke my heart.
Sending the text, the phone slipped from her hand as she buried her face on the pillow, crying.

\[ACE'S HOUSE\]
Sienna read the text, and then looked at Ace's door. "Sorry, Lissa, this is more important." She kept her phone inside her purse, and raised her hand to knock.
Closing her palm, she bent down, and lifted the floor carpet.
Her face lit up when she saw the spare keys there. "He changed my password and forgot to remove the keys."
Pushing the key inside the knob, she twisted it, and the door came unlocked.
She pushed the door slowly, and tiptoed inside his house. Her heart hammered against her ribcage as she knew she was doing the wrong things, but she couldn't help it. She needed to know why he broke up with her, and his strange behavior.
Throughout their college days, they were together, and he never gave her a reason to doubt him, but after he slapped her, he changed to the point of breaking up with her. All she needs are answers, and she'll go to any length to get it.
She walked past the sofa, and her eyes caught his phone lying on the couch.
"That means he's at home." She looked around, making sure there was no sign of him before picking his phone.
She typed in his password, and luckily for her, it came unlocked.
Her fingers trembled as she thought of where to click first. Ace has always been so secretive with his business, and sadly, this is the only way to find out even though she knew the danger that awaited her if Ace found out.
She went to his call history, and a name instantly caught her attention.
Lady S.
"Who's she?" She scrolled down, seeing he'd gotten a call from that number the most in his phone.
Removing the call history, she went to his SMS, and saw he'd also gotten quite a number of texts from that number and also another number.
Clicking Lady S, she hurriedly scrolled through the chats. Her eyes widened at the text, and the more she scrolled, the more she met more shocking information that the phone eventually slipped from her hand.
"Sienna."
Her mouth refused to close as tears began sliding down her cheeks.
"Y... you're an organ trafficker!"
Ace stared at her wordlessly, then his lips curved into a smirk. "You've found out."
Staggering, she missed her steps and fell on the floor, looking like she had seen a ghost that had been haunting her for a very long time.
"Y..." She couldn't breathe.
"What?" Ace picked up his phone. "I harvest organs and sell them for money," he confessed without remorse.
"Ah!!!" A scream left her lips, and she tried to stand but fell again. "You're a monster! A monster!"
"You dated that monster, sweetheart." He walked towards her.
She crawled on her butt.
He held one of her legs, stopping her as he squatted before her. "You shouldn't have snooped around, Sienna."
"Let go of me!" She kicked his hand away, but he grabbed her by the neck.
"You should have minded your damn fucking business!" He growled, increasing his grip around her throat.
"A... Ace..." She struggled for her breath, tears rolling freely down her cheeks.
"How dare you sneak into my house?" He pushed her away, and she laid on the floor.
Holding her throat, she coughed, trying to catch her breath.
"I am a monster." He laughed, standing. "Your biggest mistake is coming here, Sienna."
Sienna found her strength, and managed to stand, taking backwards steps while holding her throat.
"I...is that why you burst out when I took your phone? You're a criminal!"
"Yes, I am, and I don't regret it. Look around you, I'd have lived in a slum if I hadn't done it. I'd have died the same day my parents died, but Lady S took me in, and raised me up! What was I supposed to do? Betray her?"
Sienna shook her head, wondering the monster she'd been dating all along. "I didn't mind providing everything for us, but you had to ruin your life!"
"Save me that crap, I met her before meeting you, and since then she's been my savior!" He ran his hand through his hair. "You decided to end your life by choosing to snoop in."
"W...what do you mean?" She hurried her backward steps towards the door.
Her eyes widened when he brought out a gun and pointed it at her chest. "I'm sorry, Si."
"Ahh!!!!" She spun around, running to the door.
Boom.
"Ahh!!!" She froze, a sharp bullet piercing into her back.
Slowly, she fell on the floor with a loud thud as blood gushed out from her body.
Ace walked to her dead body, and knelt beside her. He used his hand, and removed the hair from her face.
Lowering himself, he planted a soft kiss on her forehead. "Goodbye my first love."
Getting a handkerchief from his pants, he wrapped it around the gun, and positioned the gun on his arm.
Boom. Boom.
