Chapter 79 Seventy nine

Chapter 79 Seventy nine
Luna PoV

I released Vincent and eased towards the being that owned me, knowing that if I hesitated again, I would be dead. The others would not allow me to live. My eyes were cast down as I moved to stand beside his chair, nervously tugging at the long sleeves of my dress. I didn’t know what was going to happen, I didn’t even know if they would change their minds about me. I had never been as terrified in my entire life, but I had to remain compliant, I had to obey my master, or it would be the end of me.

”Good girl.” He praised softly, seeming to know I conflicted with my own mind. “Now, I want you to send a mental message to each of them, but do not glance at their thoughts under any circumstances. Am I clear?”

“Yes master.” I whispered before taking a deep breath, I didn’t need to raise my head to do what he asked, I could already feel the heavy presence of each mind in the room; all I needed to do was reach out with my power. “Hello. I am Luna Marshall. I am branded with my master’s mark.” I sent, ensuring that Silas received the same message.

I wanted to puke, I wanted to hurt them all, but I had to play nice. I had to play my part.

Gasps of shocked awe ran through the room and I tensed once more, unable to stop my petite form from quivering with terror. What would they do now?

“Amazing.” Came the voice of Luka Caprotti. “I have never seen anything such as her in all of my centuries.”

“My oh my, her offspring will be unlike any other.” Came a Feminine voice to my left, one that had remained silent until now.

“When will you breed her?” Asked Remus Griswold, the anger that had radiated from him no longer present. “I would like one of her children.”

Victoria snicked, but it was Kanata who spoke. “Agreed. Her children will have great power.”

Wait a second, were they talking about making me have children just so they could have one?! They are mad, all of them mad. I didn’t want any kids, hell; I was still a kid. Surely, they didn’t expect me to breed like an animal so they could sell off my offspring, like I would even give my children away if I were to have them.

Vincent growled from beside me, but he said nothing, clearly knowing that he couldn’t argue with all of them, and my ovaries seemed to be something they were all in agreement with.

Now it was Luka Caprotti who my head snapped towards as he spoke. “I have a male who would be a good candidate for her, he will keep her in line.”

He wasn’t serious. He couldn’t be.

“Agreed. The Octavian line will also contribute a mate for the slave.” Added a strong-minded male somewhere towards the edge of the table.

Oh hell no. This wasn’t happening. They couldn’t make me!

“Then so will we.” Victoria growled, seeming to know she was being out ruled by the majority and not wanting to be left behind.

There was no way I was going to bare any children; let alone with men I didn't know! They had to be joking, oh dear lord I hoped that they were.

The closest male to me spoke next, his tone level and serious. “I wonder if she would be able to bare offspring with our kind also, I propose that we try. The Silvan line have two sons who are proven to be fertile.”

My body swayed as my mind threatened to shut down, the room spinning around me, Silas caught me with ease and pulled me onto his lap, my back pressed against his muscular chest.

“Now I don’t disagree with you on perhaps breeding our dear Luna so soon, but if I decide to do so then I shall choose the stock and it will be after this business is done with.” Silas remarked, smirking.

I could feel his arm tighten around my waist, urging me to stay silent and still; but I couldn’t exactly move or run if I wanted to, it would take him mere seconds to subdue me. Was he really thinking of making me have children? I won't do it, they can order me all they want, but I will not mate with a random being just so that they can take my children from me.

“Shame.” Said a voice that I could not pin-point.

As my eyes began to focus again, I picked out Vincent from the crowd, the room span around him, yet I managed to focus on his bulging form, the muscles in his neck twitching. He appeared sad, and in a world of his own whilst the vampires discussed the future for me as if I was cattle. Ready to auction off my womb.

I tried to reach him through my mind, trying to ensure that he was the only one that heard me. “Vincent? Are you ok?”

There was a moment of intense silence before I received a reply. “Yes, Luna I am ok. I just do not enjoy the talks of you been bred like a pedigree dog.”

His thoughts were, angry, harsh, but I knew they weren't directed at me. He was furious with Silas and the others, he didn’t believe that they should be treating me this way, he was the only one who perhaps saw me as an equal. Someone on the same level as him, someone who the deserved right to choose.

“I’m sorry dear friend, but neither of us can argue this. I am Silas’ property and as such I have no choice.” I sent back, my sadness passing through me and into his mind.

I could see his hands visibly clench. “This shouldn’t be happening! You are not even nineteen yet! How can they think this is right?!”

“I don’t think that I ever want to bring a child into the world, they would just become property to these horrible creatures, and I don’t want that.” I admitted to him, hating the thought of baring a child for the undead to use.

Suddenly I feel a pressure enter my mind. “Now Vincent, Fraulein, what would we be discussing here?”

Fuck. He’s heard everything.
