DOUG's POV
We got back to the hotel, he handed the flowers back to me, and we walked slowly in silence back upstairs. 
I walked in front of him as he kept opening every door for me.
"You know I am also a man, huh? I know all of these."
"Ah, one can't even be nice to the one they love anymore, huh?"
I chuckled. We got into the elevator and he collected the flower from me.
"Wow, this is really huge don't you think?"
"She deserves it."
I said with a cheeky smile.
"She surely does. She is fine as hell, by the way."
He finally said and I nodded sharply.
"She fucking is. Ah, Natalia.."
I said softly and he tapped on my chin with his hand.
"Get away from me."
I said, but he grabbed my waist and pressed me against his body.
"Mikey.. Get off.."
We both chuckled, but I kept staring at the elevator, watching it count, to know when to push him away.
It was the last floor of about 10 floors or maybe more, so it was a lot.
"How did Natalia manage to get you even?"
He asked while still caressing my back.
"Well.. If you must know, she asked me out."
I looked back at him and he looked stunned and breathtaking at the same time.
"Wow, I guess both genders can't seem to let go of you, uh? Champ!"
He waggled his eyebrows teasingly and I decided to do something crazy.
"We might not see each other tonight, so this is your chance to get a good night hug.."
"A hug?! Come on.."
"And a kiss."
His eyes lit up, but it was too late because the elevator door opened.
"No, no, no, Doug. Hold.."
I jumped out of the elevator, and he groaned angrily.
"This is not fair, Doug. Do not press the door, please."
"Well, I am standing right in front of it, huh? So why not?"
We were both whispering.
"Let me get my kiss and hug first."
"Look around you, Mikey. Someone might step out of the room.."
"I don't care Doug!"
He sharply exclaimed, but I looked away.
"Well, I care. My baby brother and girlfriend are both here."
I pressed on the door and Natalia welcomed me back with a big hug.
I handed the flower over to her and she looked very pleased. Her smile widened and she gave me a big kiss.
Immediately she placed a kiss on my lips, my and Mikey's eyes locked in, and I remembered our little moment earlier in the car. 
It was great, and he is just like me, we both love reassurances, and physical touch.
I know I was growing on Mikey, not sure if it's a good thing or not, but I just knew we would end up doing crazy shits together.
We walked back inside and most of the guests were at the pool outside the main room. 
"Seems y'all are having loads of fun."
Mikey managed to speak and Natalia gave him a tiny hug.
"Ah, thanks for taking him out to get me flowers."
She said with a big smile and he barely nodded.
"Told you, Mikey, is your go-to man whenever my brother isn't acting right, huh?"
She nodded and we all smiled lazily.
"Less before we forget, there is someone in there waiting for you, Mike."
Mateo said and Natalia nodded and smiled at me.
"Me? Who? More friends?"
"Nah, this one is a guy.. A badass guy. Well, I mean he looks like one."
"What was his name again?"
Mateo asked as he turned around like he was about to call for him.
"Zade?"
Mikey said and Mateo clapped his hands.
"Zade, Mike is back."
A young guy with full plump lips, blond short hair, 5 '9 tall or thereabout stepped out from the kitchen, ran, and gave Mikey a big hug. Mikey looked shocked, and traumatized.
'He has a friend as close as this or who the fuck is he even?'
"Zade.."
Mikey softly said and the guy nodded as he caressed Mikey's hair.
Mateo stared at me and I shook my head.
"Sorry. I couldn't come earlier.. I was caught up in a lot of things.."
Mikey kept stealing glances at me. He looked like he was scared and in a tight corner.
'Is he really feeling this way and fidgeting because of me? Does he really like me that much? No! Doug, chill out! It might be something else.
"Okay.. I guess we will leave you two to it.."
I said and attempted to leave with Natalia, but Mateo held me back.
"Zade, this is my brother, Doug, I am Mateo, and this here is my brother's girlfriend. We are all acquainted with Mikey here. I see he is too stunned to speak, huh?"
Mikey nodded slowly and managed to force a smile.
"Oh, hi everybody."
He waved at us. Everything about him was screaming Gay, it was so obvious! 
'Mike, you told me that you have no guy in your life. Did you lie to me? I would be so disappointed if you lied to me.'
I thought as I attempted to walk away again but Mikey held me back.
"Can I have a word with him, please? Quickly."
He said to Natalia and she nodded.
"Mikey.."
Zade said softly and I rolled my eyes.
'Mikey? I thought only I called him that? Whatever.'
"Zade, I will meet you. Just go inside."
"But Mikey.."
"I said!.."
He raised his voice but I cut him off short.
"He will be right back, Zade."
I said with a warm smile and he walked away.
We walked to the kitchen and I stared at him.
"What is so important that you had to treat your guest like that?"
"Doug.."
"You almost raised your voice at him. Why? He didn't do anything to you, Mike."
His eyes shot wide open at me.
"Mike? You don't call me that."
"Well, it seems a lot of people call you Mikey, but that aside.."
"Douglas, please don't do this."
"Do what? What am I doing? You are the one with a guest. A man? I have no words, what is it you wanted to say to me?"
"Douglas, Zade is.. Nah, he was.."
"Your ex? I do not want to do this with you, Mike."
"Doug, please, listen to me.. Do not make us go back to square one.. I have waited years to make us this close, please."
I rolled my eyes, gulped down a glass of water, and looked back at him.
"I do not know how he managed to find me, I swear.."
"I am not interested in all of these."
Immediately I turned around to leave, he pulled me back in and my eyes opened wide.
"Mikey, anyone can walk in on us.."
"Douglas.. Please."
I pushed his hands away and he looked extremely frustrated and wrecked.
"Fix your shit, Mike! You are one of the fucking best lawyers that I know. Goodnight."
I walked away but I was also hurt seeing him that way. He looked truly broken but I wasn't sure why. 
'Is he like that because of me or did Zade bring back bad memories?'
