Yes I am Santiago De León

The next morning, while Ruth was taking a bath, Santiago planted a tracking device on the dress she had selected from her closet. He left the house with Andrew and Dera, Dera had no clue about what was going on but she followed them without asking a question.

Ruth dressed up and prepared to go to the address that was sent to her by Mateo. "I'm going out for a walk, please inform the others when they get back," Ruth informed one of the maids in the house.

"Where are you heading to?" One of the guards asked, although they'd been told not to stop her from leaving the house, they didn't want to make it seem so obvious that they knew what was happening.

"Ugh, the house is suffocating, I want to go out for a while but I'll be back soon. There's no need to follow me, I just need some air." She smiled.

"But we were ordered to take care of you and to follow you wherever you are going, I'm sorry but we can't let you go by yourself."

"I'm not going far from here, I want to be free from all these for some time, please don't follow me." Ruth was trying so hard not to reveal anything.

The guard looked as though he was in deep thought before he replied. "Okay Miss, please be careful and don't hesitate to call us if something happens."

She nodded and hurried out of the house, the guard texted Santiago and told him that she just left the house. Ruth boarded a taxi to the location, and she received a text from Sofia.

"Stand there, someone is coming to get you." She read the message without replying, and soon after one of Mateo's men came for her. She was taken to the place where Sofia was.

Ruth rushed to her side and knelt before Sofia, tears spilling out of her eyes. Sofia was covered with bruises. She removed the clothes that were used to gag her mouth.

"Are you ok? Did they hurt you?" She asked.

"I'm fine, did you come here alone? Where is Santiago?" Sofia asked.

"I couldn't tell him, he threatened me, and he told me that he would hurt you if I told anyone about this."

"I'm already hurt, what more is there to be done? He can't kill me." Sofia smiled, she stared at Mateo who was watching them, and a taunting smirk playing on her lips.

"This is a beautiful family reunion but I'm sorry, I have to break it," Mateo said, he held Ruth by her arm and roughly pulled her up.

"Hey watch it she is pregnant!" Sofia yelled.

Mateo was taken aback by what Sofia said, "What do you mean by she is pregnant? Since when? God Santiago, you always get what I want!" He yelled angrily.

"But don't worry, we are going to have the baby aborted." He smirked, I'm not going to raise his child." He was about to go out but Sofia stopped him.

"You see why I said you are a fool? Sometimes I wonder how you became a mafia." She laughed "Mateo Santiago is not a fool, you think he doesn't know that Ruth was on her way here? My brother isn't slow-witted like you." Sofia laughed.

"Don't give him too much credit, if he was here then I would have known by now." Mateo snickered.

"Are you sure? Then who is that staring at you as if he wants to rip you open just because you are touching his woman?" Sofia laughed.

Mateo turned, Santiago was indeed staring at him, both pulled out their guns and pointed at each other. Mateo let go of Ruth, she hurriedly untied Sofia.

"You know Mateo I should give you credit for finding out who I truly am, kudos." Santiago clapped.

Mateo pressed a button by the side of his top, "So you admit that you are Santiago De León." Mateo asked.

"Yes I am, I am Santiago De León." Santiago smiled while answering the question.

"And you are a drug lord who has been causing this country more harm than good." Mateo continued.

Santiago chuckled, "I don't remember being a drug lord, have I ever been present in any scene concerning drugs? There are only mere speculations. And this is all because of the people who do dirty business and pin it on the name of people who have done nothing wrong." The smile was still on his face.

"What do you mean by that? Then why did you change your name from Santiago De León to Robert Pattinson?" Mateo asked angrily, he gritted his teeth against each other, his plan wasn't going as planned.

"Because after my parent's death, I found out that he was a mafia, I didn't want to be known as the son of a mafia so I changed my name and sent my sister out of the country and also people were using my late father's life to cover up their dirty business."

Santiago yawned and rolled his eyes "Are you done recording? If yes then Officers please come in." Santiago stepped aside and the police officer came in.

The police officer who had been hiding behind outside came in, and Mateo was arrested for kidnapping Sofia. When Dera, Andrew and Santiago left the house to give Ruth the space she needed to go meet Mateo, they went to the police station to tell them the truth about certain things.
