Deal from the Devil!!

**Nora’s POV**

“What!? No way! She can’t be there!” I sighed, burying my face in my palms. ‘Why is everything so complicated?’ I asked myself.

“But how?” I couldn’t refrain from asking her.

“Well, low-level servants had only this much brain.” She smirked.

“Vena!?” I frowned at her.

“Okay, whatever! I don’t know what possessed her that she chose to come back in the lion’s den. But I may ask you again if you still want to go there?” Her question ended with a giggle as if she enjoyed seeing me in despair.

“Do I have any choice? Now I have three strong reasons to go there. The first one is to free my granny, the second one is saving my ass, and the third is to make Ronin, a three-head Orynx.” I said this with confidence, as I didn’t want to give her a hint of my weakness. I may be weak, scared and incompetent to fight Dark Prince, but I won’t stop trying for the four people in my life, Ronin, babies and my granny. I don’t care if I lost my life, for they all are dearer to me than my life.

“Oh! I am so flattered by your courage, but what about Dark Prince? Do you believe he is dumb enough to sit and play duck while you fuck him once more and play the wonder woman under his nose? There is no way to go near that place without getting noticed. He is already brimmed with rage for centuries because of your betrayal, so the first thing he will do when you come in front of him is, unleash his wrath upon you. He is already burning with a murderous intention. He should not know you are here.” She warned me.

“So, you are wrong here, Vena!” I spoke. She raised her eyebrow with a slight smirk, asking me to explain.

“Dark Prince already knows, I am here. He took over Rorik’s body and fucked me. That means either the Dark Prince is dumb or; your story is a lie.” I snarled at her before continuing, “This also rules out that Dark Prince wants to kill me. He has no murderous intentions for me, so don’t try to misguide me.”

“What can I do if Dark Prince is acting like a horny love-sick teenager? Maybe he was too desperate to fuck you before killing you. He is a wild predator, after all, to suck every last bit of juice from a prey before throwing the shell away.” She winked at me. I was already burning in rage.

“Whatever his intentions are, I don’t care. Now tell me, is there any way to go to dungeons without Dark Prince’s knowledge?” I asked her. She gave me a weird and indecipherable expression. I was not sure if she meant yes or no.

“Okay, I will take you, but first things first; give me Crescent lure.” She spoke, and I almost jerked in shock.

“Crescent Lure? With me? What…What are you talking about? It is not with me. What makes you think that it is with me? I am sure there is a misunderstanding.” I was fumbling on my words. Meghan gave me a stern look to stop speaking as I was acting like a thief caught after stealing. I just hoped that she doesn’t sense my lie because I am such a worse liar, and she being too sharp is not helping me, so I just let you the last sentence to defend myself, “It must be with my granny. She used it to make the portal last time.”

“She just used it to make a portal; but didn’t bring it back here,” Vena replied.

“How do you know?” Meghan throws the question at Vena. She gave a shocked look, but her evil grin showed she already had an answer to that question.

“If Nhala had Crescent Lure, then it should be in Dark Prince’s possession by now,” Vena replied.

“He must be having it,” I said casually.

“No way!” Vena almost snarled at me.

“Why are you so sure about it?” I asked back.

“Because if Crescent Lure is with him, then I would have known it,” Vena replied, making a mistake. But it was too late to take back the words already uttered.

“Why would you know it? Are you working for him?” My suspicious eyes lingered at her for a few seconds to read her fake expressions. Her body stiffened, and she frowned at me.

“No way! I don’t work with anyone. I think logically. And here the logic is, Dark Prince already has Nhala, and he knows you are here; if we suppose he also has Crescent Lure, then he has all the three things to make a portal, so what is stopping him?” She asked.

“Why does he need a portal? He wants me, and I am already here.” I replied.

“Revenge!” Vena replied.

“Revenge with whom?” I asked.

“One son-of-a bitch!” She replied and laughed at me as if that answer was related to me.

“Whatever, I don’t care,” I spoke.

“If Nhala doesn’t have Crescent Lure, then it must be in your possession. Nhala must have left for you.” Vena said before checking out my neck, but it was empty except for the few bruises, Rorik gifted me, but to my shock, the next thing she did was to scan Meghan’s neck as well before taking a glance at Meghan’s back-pack. At that moment, I knew I had to be extra careful and alert around Vena. Sypha is not even one-fourth of a bitch as compared to Vena. Sypha is cunning without any brains, making her less dangerous than this fake evil-eyed Vena, who claims to be my well-wisher.

“It is not with me. She used to gift me a necklace on my every birthday; I had left all of them on the Earth. You are already aware that granny didn’t tell me anything about Rebekah, so even if she had given me Crescent Lure, I am not sure about that. I must have missed it.” I spoke back.

“Crescent Lure is utterly breathtaking, always intended for you. You must have felt something different in your body which you cannot rule out; if you have ever worn it. Nobody can resist its charm. It is a unique beauty, mesmerizing and fascinating! Anyone laying their eyes on it; wants to own it. The Crescent Lure is not the necklace to be missed.” Vena replied.

“Yes, the name itself says a lot. But unfortunately, it is not with me.” I replied.

“I will accept that as an answer for now.” She snarled at me.

“Excuse me! What do you mean? Are you implying that I am a liar?” I asked her.

“Yes! But no worries as I have other means of getting it out from you.” She smirked with a notorious wink.

“Are you blackmailing me for a thing which I don’t have?” I raised my voice at her.

“No, but I know of your weakness. I know how desperate you are to see your granny, and I am the only one who can sneak you in there, unseen and undetected from the sharp eyes of Dark Prince.” She said by bringing forth her cunning nature.

“And let me guess, you want Crescent Lure in exchange?” I asked.

“No fuck not! I don’t care for that damn piece of shit. You can keep that. It is for those who want to run away, but I am not running anywhere. What I want is already here?” She said by looking over at Ronin.

“What do you mean, Vena? What are you talking about?” I asked her in a murderous tone, well aware of her intentions.

“Well! If you give me what I want, I will sneak you to the dungeon and help you in rescuing your so-called useless granny. She can make you a portal with the help of your blood and Crescent Lure, which you had hidden somewhere, and then you live happily ever after.” She said with a half-smile decorating her face.

“Vena! Since when do you care about my happily ever after? I doubt your intentions when you are making this so easy for me. What will you gain from this? Why am I having a bad feeling about this? What is your hidden agenda behind this? Come on, now tell me, what do you seek?” I asked her with calculative eyes.

“Okay, so if you insist. Well! I will start this way. You all, I mean you, your friends, Nhala, Rorik, can go back to the Crixus or the Earth or whatever fucking planet you want to go. You can fuck Rorik all day and, along with that, give birth to your cute-little wriggling boys. I am sure I will miss playing with my cute little serpent nephews.” Vena was hesitating to speak further.

“And?” I prompted her to speak further with a darkness in my tone.

“Marry Rorik and lead a happy family life. You can even plan more children, like a cute baby girl with the same adorning dimpled smile as Rorik. You also have Dasan. You may have one more son-of-a -bitch, if Dark Prince fails to take revenge on him. So many options to choose from.” She said, and this hit my nerves.

“And what of Ronin? Why there is no mention of him in my happily-ever-after?” I growled at her, garnering everyone’s attention on us. Meghan tried to hold my hand, to calm me but fuck calmness; I didn’t give two flying hoots to stay calm; when the murderous rage was pumping through my veins.

“Well! Ronin stays with me!” She replied, and that was when I fucking lost it. Darkness surrounded me, Rebekah took over, and all I could see was red.
