Chapter 62 You like biting?

Nathaniel had never been the type to comfort a girl.

Seeing Celeste cry, her face wet with tears, really hit him hard—like he was missing a piece of his heart.

"Celeste, please don't cry."

He instinctively reached out and gently pulled her into a hug.

Celeste resisted a bit, her small face lifted up, tear-streaked and her nose red. She put her hands on Nathaniel's chest and hesitated as he came closer.

"No."

"Why not?" Nathaniel leaned in, trying to read her mixed signals.

But he heard her sniffling, tears swirling in her eyes for a long time, her face full of misery. "Mr. Ford, you don't love me anymore, do you?"

"No way."

He denied it flatly, but Celeste, not letting it go, grabbed his collar and pulled him closer.

Their faces were inches apart, her breath sweet and her lips temptingly close, almost like a tease.

Nathaniel swallowed hard.

"Oh, so it's my fault, isn't it?"

As she spoke, Celeste kissed his cheek, her beautiful eyes fluttering, her cheeks tinted with a hint of red, innocent yet seductive.

His gaze darkened, his voice rough, "Celeste, this...I can't resist."

Imagine what it feels like to hold a soft woman in your arms, especially one whose clothes are slightly disheveled, revealing the soft curves of her chest and deep cleavage.

Nathaniel felt like he was being tortured, his body tense, desire flaring up.

"But you don't trust me. You even take Hallie's side. Mr. Ford, do you think I'm capable of hurting you?"

After much thought, this was what Celeste had decided to say, after consulting with Sophia.

If she wanted to stay close to Nathaniel, even if he was suspicious, she couldn't just act on impulse.

The boss's death hadn't been confirmed yet, and her own plan hadn't succeeded. Zoe had slipped her a message during the day.

There was still a batch of drugs missing, and she needed to keep sniffing around for information.

Might as well secure Nathaniel's loyalty today.

With that thought, Celeste's gaze became clear, piercing straight into his eyes.

Suddenly, she said, "How could I ever hurt you? You're my husband, the father of my future kids..."

Though she wasn't pregnant yet.

Celeste mused internally, but that was only a matter of time. Right now, to calm Nathaniel down, she needed to be gentle, to be kind!

Once she managed to conceive, she'd have the upper hand.

Sure enough, her words softened Nathaniel's look instantly.

He realized Celeste was no ordinary woman; she had her secrets.

Yet she had harmed no one, not even Hallie, who harbored great malice towards her.

If truth be told, he had his secrets too... they were even.

"I'm sorry, I am... once bitten, twice shy. I'm just too scared of betrayal. I once trusted someone deeply, only to have her ruin everything."

Who?

Celeste grew curious about the betrayer Nathaniel was referring to.

Celeste found Nathaniel to be more than just a regular businessman. His instincts and tactics seemed to even surpass those who had been hardened by years in the midst of chaos.

Ideally, Celeste preferred not to dig into his background. Sometimes, keeping some secrets from each other was better for everyone.

Little did she know, Nathaniel shared her sentiment.

Once he realized Celeste was genuinely kind, her mysterious past didn't bother him.

Actually, he found himself even more captivated by her.

"You can choose to trust me," Celeste said earnestly, her gaze intense, a rare warmth flickering in her usually calm eyes.

He remained silent, prompting her to pout slightly and trace playful circles on his chest. "Or maybe Mr. Ford doesn't like me anymore?"

In an instant, Nathaniel acted on impulse, pulling her into his arms and kissing her deeply.

"I do like you," he admitted his desire to be close to her again unmistakable.

"Ah, it's so hot," she whispered as Nathaniel's kisses trailed down her neck. Within moments, she felt the pressing hardness against her, the fabric between them effortlessly torn away by his eager hands.

His arousal was intense and uncomfortably hot against her skin.

"Your face is all red again," Nathaniel teased, clearly enjoying her shy, tender expression. No matter how many times they were together, Celeste always blushed deeply in these moments, her voice growing softer.

She gripped him, trying to subtly shift his position. "If you move away, I might stop blushing."

"That won't do," Nathaniel teased back, not budging but instead pressing closer, positioning himself between her legs.

"Ah..." She arched back as the heat increased, her heart racing, nearly breathless.

"I'm not moving away. I want to go deeper. Is that okay with you?" he whispered seductively.

Overwhelmed, Celeste found herself unable to speak.

Her lips were still locked in his fervent kiss, their breath mingling in the charged air.

Meanwhile, he pressed deeper, sending a wave of tingles throughout her body.

"You're not... you're not going to be with Hallie...?"

"Jealous?" Nathaniel was pleased with her reaction. He sometimes relished teasing Celeste, enjoying how she stubbornly denied her arousal.

Celeste huffed and turned her face away, playing hard to get.

Managing a man like Nathaniel sometimes meant playing hard to capture.

But Nathaniel, always domineering and unreasonable, saw her reluctance and intensified his movements, thrusting deeply.

"Ah!"

Caught off guard, Celeste could only open her mouth, biting down on Nathaniel's shoulder in response.

"You like biting?" Nathaniel winced slightly from the pain but was visibly more thrilled, grabbing her gently as he lifted one of her legs, thrusting even deeper. "The upper mouth bites, but the lower one..." he teased, feeling her tighten around him.

"You're so wet... so tight..." he murmured, lost in the intensity of the moment.
