Chapter 412 The End of Singleness Party
As soon as Seraphina and Stefan got back to Border Ridge City from Majestic City, she received a call from Stanley.
"Seraphina, I'm taking you flying tonight." Stanley's excited voice came through the phone.
"Speak in plain language." Seraphina rubbed her ear.
"Alright, darling, I've organized a bachelorette party for you tonight. Surprised? Happy? You can't say no, or we're done as friends!"
Stanley threatened childishly with a dark tone.
Hearing Stanley's childish threat, Seraphina couldn't help but smile. "A bachelorette party? I really didn't expect you to be so thoughtful. Thank you."
Stefan turned to look at Seraphina. Seeing her speak to someone else in such a relaxed tone, he smiled faintly.
Stanley said proudly on the other end, "We're good friends, of course I have to put in effort! This is a party I specially prepared for you, you absolutely can't miss it! You have to come. I've already set the time - tonight at eight, at The Daily Club. I guarantee you'll have fun!"
Hearing how happy Stanley was, Seraphina didn't want to refuse his kindness. She laughed, "Alright, since you've put in so much effort, I'll agree. But this party better not disappoint me, or I'll hold you accountable."
After they agreed, they hung up.
Seraphina turned to Stefan with a playful smile in her voice. "My good friend organized a party for me. Do you want to come with me tonight to the bachelorette party?"
Stefan raised an eyebrow. "Your friend is quite thoughtful. I don't think I've met your friends before."
Seraphina said with a smile, "You've seen him. Remember that time you came to pick me up at Seraphina Enterprises and a sports car suddenly stopped beside me? That guy is my good friend Stanley."
Stefan remembered - so it was that flashy, arrogant-looking Stanley.
Stefan smiled lightly. "I'll go to the party with you tonight."
Their car stopped in front of Seraphina's house.
She told him she'd see him tonight and got out of the car.
Elizabeth and Timothy were already sitting in the living room waiting for Seraphina.
Since Seraphina had gone to Stefan's house, they naturally wanted to ask about the situation.
Elizabeth asked, "Baby, did everything go smoothly?"
Seraphina sat down next to Elizabeth. "Pretty smoothly. We even went to see the wedding venue."
They had chosen to hold the wedding in Majestic City.
As the wedding day got closer, Timothy and Elizabeth were privately even more nervous than Seraphina, the bride-to-be.
At eight o'clock that evening.
When Stanley saw that Seraphina had actually brought Stefan along, thinking of the special program he had prepared, he looked at Seraphina with resentment.
Seraphina took the juice Stefan handed her and looked at Stanley's resentful face, asking in confusion, "What's with that expression?"
He looked like a neglected wife.
Stanley moved closer to Seraphina and said quietly, "I prepared a special program for you. With him here, it's going to be awkward."
Although Stanley spoke quietly, Stefan was standing right next to Seraphina and naturally heard what he said.
Stefan smiled. He had come at the right time.
Seraphina's brain also picked up on Stanley's wavelength. She kind of regretted inviting Stefan.
A mistake!
She turned to Stefan. "Don't you have a lot of work at the company? You should go take care of it, you don't need to stay with me."
Stefan calmly looked at his watch. "It's so late, I don't need to work overtime."
"No, you need to work overtime." For the sake of the special program, Seraphina insisted unreasonably.
Seraphina and Stefan looked at each other.
Finally, Stefan gave in. "After you're done here, call me and I'll come pick you up."
"No need for you to pick her up, I can take Seraphina home." Stanley smiled.
Stefan gave Stanley a warning look.
Stanley immediately hid behind Seraphina and complained, "Seraphina, his eyes are so scary."
Stefan fell silent. He actually hid behind Seraphina. Stefan was speechless.
Stanley looked at Stefan provocatively.
Stanley really was asking for a beating with that look.
Seraphina turned to look at Stanley's innocent expression and couldn't help laughing. "You two are ridiculous, stop acting like kids."
Stanley immediately put on a serious face and promised, "Mr. Hensley, please rest assured, Seraphina is absolutely safe with me! As soon as the party ends, I'll contact you to come pick her up."
Stefan smiled slightly, but his eyes still carried a hint of warning. "I hope so."
Stanley quickly nodded.
After Stefan left, Stanley rushed onto the stage, grabbed the microphone, and said, "Now let's invite our Seraphina on stage to receive bachelorette blessings."
Stanley hadn't invited many people to the party, just a dozen or so.
Seraphina generously went on stage. She didn't know what kind of blessings Stanley had arranged.
When she stood on stage, Stanley clapped his hands, and confetti fell from above.
A moment of silence.
Seraphina looked helplessly at the confetti falling from above and couldn't help laughing. "Stanley, you really are childish!"
The friends below applauded and cheered, calling out teasingly, "Congratulations Seraphina! End of being single, entering the palace of happy marriage!"
Stanley walked proudly to Seraphina's side, raised the microphone, and said, "Everyone quiet down! Today is our noble and elegant Seraphina's bachelorette party, everyone needs to celebrate properly for her! Next, each of us will come up and give her a blessing."
Seraphina smiled.
She was very happy.
She wasn't actually very familiar with these people below.
The dozen or so people came up on stage one by one.
Some seriously offered blessings, some wished her an early pregnancy.
Someone wished her a harmonious sex life after marriage.
Seraphina held back her laughter.
When it was Stanley's turn, he stood in front of Seraphina and said with a smile, "Seraphina, no matter what happens in the future, we'll always be friends. If he treats you badly, you can come marry me."
Seraphina laughed softly. "Thank you, Stanley. No matter what the future holds, you'll always be my best friend."
She had very few good friends.
Next was the special program Stanley had arranged.
Seraphina felt a bit awkward and finally understood why Stefan couldn't stay to watch.
The special program was a handsome guy fashion show, with muscular men dancing, a very special arrangement indeed.
