Bonus Scenes #5: I’m Not Mad, I Get Even
Jake’s POV

It’s been a few short hours since entering Tori’s home and finding his sweet face covered by a big, fat bruise, or the fact that it was Lilyanna who’d done it to begin with.

Tori currently sleeping within my arms. That need to hold him in order to keep myself grounded and to keep from flying off the walls, the only thing preventing me from hunting her down and demand fucking answers. Answers only Lilyanna knew herself.

Tori and I both currently within his room. My body now sitting upon the bed with my back against the headboard while Tori slept silently beside me. My hand stroking his hair. Vox still angry and clearly wanted blood.

‘We’re gone for 4 fucking years, and when we finally come home, we find out he’s been bullied by a low-ranking she-wolf! She’s lucky I don’t take over right now and return the favor twice over,’ growls Vox.

‘Easy pal. We just got back. We can’t go stirring up trouble. Not yet.’

‘But Jake… how are you not mad about this?’

‘I never said I wasn’t. But this is personal. Has been since Tori was little, thus, I’m getting even, and Lilyanna’s going to learn what it means to piss off an Alpha whose deadly protective of his future Luna and mate.’

Meanwhile, Zak and Alex both finally arrive and the moment they do, do their eyes instantly flash with rage. Both trying to remain calm so as not to wake up Tori.

‘WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?’

‘WHO DID THAT TO HIM?’

My eyes soon locking to theirs. My gaze cold. ‘Take one fucking guess. Four years. Four years we’re gone and this is how the pack treats him.’

‘Who?’

‘Lilyanna, that’s who. And Vox wants blood. Her blood.’

‘Um Jake… you do know that it’s currently illegal right. Your finally 18, she’s not. She’s only 16. Thus, still technically a minor,’ admits Zak who knew of the laws.

‘Do I look like I fucking care Zak? No. Look, I may not be able to kill her, not yet, but there’s no rule saying I can’t scare the living hell out of her. Thus, when finished, Lilyanna’s going to learn one way or another what it means to touch what’s mine.’

Zak soon pausing. His eyes on mine. Zak soon speaking again. ‘Want me to stay here with him? Until your return?’

Upon hearing the offer do I suddenly pause. That need to find Lilyanna growing, yet I also wanted to stay close to Tori. Tori clearly upset by what Lilyanna had done. Vox still urging me forward until finally, I sigh.

“Yes. Please, stay here and keep Tori safe Zak. Alex and I are both going hunting for a bitch.”

Alex suddenly pleased. Volt soon flashing within his eyes as Zak and I switch places. Tori quick to whimper but settles almost instantly once Zak settles beside him. As if he knew somebody was there.

“Keep him safe Zak. I mean it.”

“Yeah, yeah. I will. Just don’t hurt Lilyanna to badly or else your father will have a cow.”

Growling, I answer him slowly. “No promises. But I’ll try not to commit murder to a minor before it’s allowed.” Then, with that said, do Alex and I both turn and leave the house in search of Lilyanna.

Lilyanna

“OMG… did you guys see how fast the freak ran away after one hard hit to the face?”

“Yeah, talk about lame. How’s he our next Gamma when he can’t even take a hit?” laughs Dylan. He and Sam my two newest recruits. Recruits who took bribery easy. Having learned a long time ago when growing up that it was far easier to manipulate others into doing the hard work for you then doing it yourself.

The three of us currently beneath a tree. Each of us laughing about Tori. Tori our new favorite toy since Jake, Zak, and Alex had all left for Alpha school. Tori their little pet, and frankly, it made me mad at how manipulative he was to them. Each of them his own personal shield that he eventually became easy prey for me. Willow just purring. Willow not one to choose sides if she could possibly help it.

The guys and I so highly amused at how easy it was to torture Tori, that we fail to notice when a big looming shadow slowly approaches. At least, not until it growls and I’m forced to take notice.

“So… you think it’s funny do you? Let’s see how funny it is once the favors returned twice over, hmm?”

The voice in question eerily familiar and one that makes us pause. My blood now cold when turning to greet the person who spoke only to notice both Jake and Alex. The guys noticing too. Neither of them pleased. My face instantly paling.

“Ja.. Jake…” I stammer, now suddenly scared. Unsure of when Jake had finally returned home nor Zak and Alex as well.

Jake just simply scowling as did Alex. Sam and Dylan both running away. Neither one wanting to stick around for what Jake planned to do. Jake’s tone scary. Especially when pissed.

“So… you and your two little friends both think it’s fun to laugh at Tori? That without us being present that Tori’s fair game to you?”

“N.. No…” I stammer again. My heart instantly racing because I knew the truth behind the words.

“No? Funny, because that’s not what Alex and I both heard just now, right Alex?”

“Right Jake. Pretty sure it sounded like each of them found complete humor in Tori’s pain.”

“What? No.. of course not. You completely misunderstood us…” I attempt to say, only to pause when Jake swoops forward and grips my jaw tightly. The grip hard. So hard it puckers my lips but not to where it caused bruising. His eyes narrowing.

“Don’t.. lie.. to me... Lilyanna… you don’t want to see what happens to those who piss me off do you?”

The grip instantly tighter and I suddenly wince. The grip so tight, I’m unable to speak. Jake now smirking. “Now then, since it’s been brought to my attention that your still technically a minor in the eyes of the law, I can’t give you any sort of extreme punishment… but… I can scare you…”

My eyes suddenly wide, and a whimper begins to rise. “Ja… Jake…” I finally manage to squeeze out from along Jake’s hold. “He… He started it… I only finished it.”

Alex soon scoffing. “Please… Tori? Tori could never pick a fight with you. He’s too sweet and innocent. But you, you totally would in order to cause havoc with us.”

Alex now drawing his blade. A blade that causes my heart to skip. My heart nearly stopping. Alex clearly amused by the reaction he got as he continued to hold his blade. A blade he loved to carry. My eyes now dancing between them, and Willow becomes silent. Distant.

“Now then, here’s the deal Lily. If you promise to be a good little girl and can manage to leave Tori alone, then maybe, just maybe, I’ll let things slide. Choose not too and… well… let’s just say, three strikes and your out. Got it?”

“Y.. Yes…” I whimper, and I swear I peed my pants. Jake and Alex both scary at times, and both clearly not pleased about Tori. A situation to keep in mind going forward when planning my next moves against Tori.

Jake’s eyes just narrowing before shoving me away. “Good. Then clean up, you reek of piss.”

My cheeks just flaming when feeling embarrassed. An embarrassment I’m forced to endure while Jake and Alex simply walk away. A piece of me swearing to the great Moon Goddess herself, that I would not stop until I found all the possible loop holes in making them pay, including sweet, innocent Tori.
