Chapter 46

After taking a long bath, I go to the wardrobe. Samuel has filled it with new dresses, beautiful and stunning. I choose a red, long, and low-cut one. I fix my hair, and Samuel enters the room.

"You need help with the babies? Wow, you look gorgeous!" he praises, admiring my body with devotion.

"Your mother and Camila have already taken them downstairs." The arrogant man approaches me and holds me firmly. He lovingly slides his face against mine, his beard grazing my skin as he softly kisses my lips.

I give in to his passionate kiss. My tongue invades his mouth, and he devours me with such urgency that I feel a slight tingling from the pressure of his lips against mine. I feel warmth spread between my legs from the latent excitement. The arrogant man holds my face with his hands, pulling our mouths apart as he silently admires me. His nose brushes softly against my skin until it reaches my neck, inhaling my scent.

"I love you, and I hope you choose to stay by my side." Samuel seals my mouth with a kiss and then takes my hand so we can head downstairs for dinner.

Still shaken, I steady my trembling legs on the floor, and we descend together. We enter the dining room and sit next to each other. I see Severo sitting at the table and understand what’s happening.

"What are you doing here, Severo?" Samuel asks in an arrogant and impatient tone.

Severo fidgets awkwardly in his chair. "Your mother invited me. It’s just that..."

"Really? You and my mother?"

"Son, calm down. I was going to make the announcement, but I see you’ve already figured out that we’re together."

"You got involved so quickly? Wasn’t he one of Pavel’s puppets?" Severo looks nervous, and I can see the desperation in his eyes; he knows Samuel isn’t stupid.

"Of course not, Samuel!" Anna defends, but Samuel remains unreadable, coldly staring at Severo.

"Samuel, they’re in love. Let them be," I intercede for the two of them, trying to soften the arrogant scowl forming on my beloved’s face.

"If you hurt her, I’ll destroy you. My mother has suffered enough!"

"I won’t hurt her, I promise!" Samuel growls after hearing the statement.

"Well, I’d like to introduce Camila to you all—my great love!" Iurih says, attempting to ease the tension. Camila smiles sweetly, happy to finally be by his side.

I’m startled when I see Adam and a blonde woman walking through the door. He looks awkward and stops next to me. He’s stunning in a black suit, while the woman wears a short, sensual blue dress. I stand, and Adam runs his hand over my face, hugging me affectionately.

"I missed you, Tatyana!" The blonde promptly introduces herself.

"I’m Gisele Colt. We haven’t met yet; I’m Samuel’s cousin." Gisele is tall, blonde, with deep eyes and a warm smile.

"It’s a pleasure. I’m sure we’ll be very close." The two smile and quietly take their seats.

"Where’s John?" I ask, confused.

"He said he couldn’t stay here," Samuel says, saddened.

"Why?" Everyone remains silent.

"John has been withdrawing, and I know I need to talk to him, especially about past feelings. For a long time, he believed my mother’s death was truly my fault." Samuel explains. They spent so much time in pain that I understand why John is scared.

I run my hand over his arm in understanding.

Dinner is peaceful, and everyone talks amicably. Anna is extremely happy, and when the meal is served, everyone eats in silence. After finishing dinner, I pick up the babies. Adam approaches me and clears his throat awkwardly.

"Can I talk to you?"

"Of course, sit down!" Adam hesitantly sits in the chair next to me.

"They’re beautiful, congratulations. I’m relieved to see you well! I don’t know what your future will be like; you’ve been away for months, and many things have happened." He looks at Gisele, his face turning completely red.

"Adam, are you trying to tell me you’ve met someone who makes your heart race? If so, know that I’ll be very happy! Our relationship was always purely physical. You’re wonderful and deserve someone who loves you. I hope you two are happy!"

"Thank you, Tatyana. You’ll always be special to me!"

"You too!" Adam briefly hugs me under Samuel’s irritated gaze.

Everyone says their goodbyes, leaving only the family. I play with Alek, and my heart melts with love. Samuel picks up Sarah and gently smells her.

"Let’s go. I’ll help you!" Magno starts crying, and I rock him in my arms.

"Come on, Mommy will feed you now." We head to the bedroom and lie down together.

The babies snuggle up to our bodies, and Samuel pulls me close to his chest.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes. I’m just lost in thought." He brushes his thumb over my lips and kisses me.

"You’ve been given a second chance. I could have lost you forever and would never have forgiven myself for it. I want you to close your eyes and allow yourself to embrace this new opportunity. Now, live!"

The babies wriggle around, capturing our attention.

"Sarah, you’re still a baby; how can you take up so much space?" The babies look around attentively until they finally fall asleep.

POV Tatyana

One month later

The days passed, and I fully recovered from the C-section and malnutrition. I can finally start defining my future again. Night has fallen, and from Samuel’s room, I admire the stars. I’ve been thoughtful; after all, he’s now free from his marriage and wants me to stay by his side. I walk to the mirror on the opposite side of the bed and look at my reflection without any doubt about my choice and the direction my life will take from now on.

What could I choose for myself? For my life? Samuel Colt? The man who blackmailed me into being his surrogate and then fell in love with me? Am I obligated to choose him? No, he hurt me, broke me, and at the same time, made me reborn. In return, I taught him to love, made him awaken to love. And because of that, I know our children will be the reason to keep him grounded.

Today, even with the chaos that is Samuel Colt, my soul’s choice is him. While I was able to save him, he also saved me. With him, I found a strength I never imagined existed within me. Samuel will be happy when I finally decide to give us a chance.

Today he had some meetings and is in the office of the Bordeaux Room. I choose a short red silk dress and spray perfume on my skin. I fix my hair, and when I’m ready, I quickly go down the stairs of the main hall. I pass through the Bordeaux Room and head to the office door. I push the door open, and Samuel stares at me, letting his gaze travel down my body, admiring every inch of my skin. He leans back in his chair sensually, relaxing his body, and brings the cigar between his fingers to his lips. He takes a deep drag, and I see the small embers burn at the tip of the tobacco.

I walk toward him with sensual steps as he exhales the smoke, which spreads through the air. I glance at the desk, see his glass of whiskey, and study his body. His suit is disheveled and partially open, and his gaze is powerful and intense. The same Samuel I fell in love with, but now more passionate and entirely mine.

I step into the small space between the desk and the chair, standing right in front of his body. I sit on the desk and spread my legs, revealing my completely bare pussy to him. The arrogant man lets his gaze drop to my forbidden area. He runs his hand along my leg, gently tracing his fingers as he sensually lifts my dress.

“Hmm, such a pink, delicious pussy…” He takes a long sip of his whiskey while admiring me with lust and desire.

He smokes his cigar seductively and stands to rip my dress off, leaving me completely naked.
