Axel’s P.O.V.
As Kristoff steps back and his three new members goes back out into the crow I take my place and call my new member up.
“Jasmine!” I call out to her as I too cut my hand like Kristoff did and then going up to her I do the same. Placing our hands together I repeat the same words that Kristoff did a moment ago asking her to repeat after me. “I Jasmine accept Axel Livingston as my Alpha and Tessa Livingston as my luna of the Blue Moon Pack.” She repeats it so I go on to my step of the initiation ceremony.
“I Axel Livingston Alpha of the Blue Moon accept Jasmine as a new member of the Blue Moon Pack.” After saying those words and Jasmine goes back over to Curtis, Kristoff comes back to stand next to me.
“Ok now let’s get on with the party!” He says as everyone turns around and starts to go over to the food and drinks tables, some even went over to the dance floor to dance with their mates or friends first. Me? I went over to my mate Tessa which was standing next to my sister Emerald. I stopped and looked at them together, you wouldn’t know that the two of them were in-laws just by looking at them you would think they were actually sisters. I start walking towards them again.
“Hey sis!” I say to her as I kiss the top of her head in greeting like I always do.
“Hey! You did good up there.”
“Thank you. What are you two talking about?”
“When are you going to ask this she-wolf to marry you before she rejects you for another wolf?”
“I don’t know, to tell you the truth I was planning on it but since the new pack and all I postponed it.”
“Oh really? What are you waiting for, me to be pregnant with your pup?” She asked me with a wicked grin on her face.
“No, just for things to settle down.” I say to her before she can even think of rejecting me for some other wolf.
“Well, I think you should start thinking about it and soon.” She said sarcastically.
“Oh, really now! And why is that my dear mate?”
“Because Axel you are going to be a father soon.”
“WAIT! WHAT? I….AM…WHAT?” I stuttered.
“I am pregnant with your pup and would like to get married before I start to show my darling mate.” She says matter of fact.
“Ok! But I want to do this right. A proposal first then planning. Are you ok with that.”
“YES!!!OH, OH, YES!!!” She squeals. Wrapping her arms around me I place a kiss to her cheek.
“Who else knows?”
“Just you and Em!” She says excitedly.
“Good keep it that way for now, I don’t want anyone to think that is the only reason I am marry you.”
“But aren’t you?” She asks playfully.
“NO!” I yell. I then walk away from them. Playful or not that is the last thing that she should think of me. I go around then looking for Royce and Brandon.
As the party carries on for most of the night Emerald decide that it was her place as Luna to speak to the members.
“HI EVERYONE, CAN I GET YOUR ATTENTION FOR A MOMENT?” She waits until everyone settles down before addressing the crow again. “I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE MEMBERS WHO DIDN’T HAVE TO BE HERE BUT DID COME ANYWAY IT SHOWS HOW CLOSE THESE TWO PACKS ARE. I WANT TO HAVE MORE OF THESE GETOGETHERS IN THE FUTURE. I ALSO WANT TO EXPRESS MY PRIDE IN MY ELDEST BROTHER AXEL FOR THE POSITION THAT HE WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO LEAD, HE WILL BE A GREAT ALPHA FOR THE BLUE MOON PACK. {HEY AX, DO YOU WANT TO MAKE ONE OF THOSE ANNOUNCEMENTS?} {YES, WE WILL BE THERE SOON.} I WOULD NOW LIKE FOR AXEL AND HIS MATE TESSA TO COME UP HERE THEY WOULD LIKE TO SHARE SOMETHING WITH LL OF YOU.” She finishes just as Axel and Tessa makes there way to the front.
Holding hands Axel addresses the crowd. “HI EVERYONE, AGAIN!” everyone starts to chuckle as he clears his throat to continue. “My baby sister is right, we do have an announcement to make to everyone here. I asked Tessa to marry me and she said yes.” Everyone in the crow cheers for the newly engaged couple. “Now let’s finish this party with a bang!” He presses a button and fireworks begin to go off, everyone makes their way into the yard to watch as they go off in the night sky.
As the night starts to break up, the members from both packs say their goodbyes to one another. To their surprise there was no trouble between the two packs coming together to night. Emerald walks over to the clearing that has always gone to either because she was pissed off at Kristoff and needed to clear her head or she just wants to sit there and think over the days events. As she sits there Kristoff comes and sits beside her on the log that she has claimed as hers.
“Eventful night, huh?” He asked her.
“Yes very. I am so proud of the man that Axel has become, I always knew that the day would come for him to become an Alpha of a pack, I just never thought he would have been hand picked by the Moon goddess herself, my mother.” They sit there for a while before heading in the house for the night. “Where is Christian?”
“In our room face asleep. Katie brought him up to our room as the party was going on. Don’t worry she did have a guard stand by who wasn’t in the mood to party like the rest of us.” He told her. “Let’s go in, it is getting a little chilly out, even though we don’t feel it as much as a human would, but I would hate for you to get sick.”
“Your right let’s go1” She says as she stands up and grabbing his hand again she helps him up. They walked to the pack house hand in hand.
