Chapter 73: The Arrogant Visitor
I can’t believe that now we are responsible for a small life, looking down at my son I see just how precious he is, Christian Blystone the next Alpha of the Blue Lake Pack. So far he has Emerald’s green eyes and my light brown hair, his facial features shows signs of both mine and Emerald’s, he sure is a blessing especially how he came about, I can’t believe I almost lost her because of my stupidity, and I would not be able to experience this small family and being a father without her. They are both sleeping now. Christian in her arms and Em in mine, I also got word from the other pack members that Sabrina went into labor at the same time and now my brother Derrick has a son of his own. We have always dreamed of raising sons together and now here we are, the both of us father’s.
“Kristoff?” I heard Em whisper to me. Looking down I see that she is just blinking those beautiful eyes of her’s open trying to focus her sight, she looked down at our son before glancing up at me, I don’t mind him getting her attention first, I mean how could I, he is going to be our pride and joy and so won’t the other pups that we have. Kissing her temple and then his I start to get out of bed slowly and carefully to not disturb his sleep.
“Do you want me to take him so you can take a shower?”
“can you?”
“Of course.” I gently take him from her arms and cradled him in mine, she gets up and heads to the shower with her clothes in hand. (I have to figure out how to have this meeting and have two babies cared for a the same time) I thought to myself, because knowing my brother there is no way he would leave his son in the care of Sabrina even though she is his mother.
Getting into the shower felt like heaven after the day that I had yesterday, I let the stream of hot steamy water run down my sore body, as I wash my hair and body I remember hearing Derrick complain about the actions and blame that Sabrina had the morning before. (I will find out more about that after my shower, I don’t want anything to ruin my good mood this morning.) Getting out of the shower I then dry my hair and body off and put on the outfit that I picked out for today, which reminds me I am going to want to pick a presentable outfit for Christian so when he officially meets the pack this morning. I chose a pair of light blue jeans with a light beige crop top, and a pair of tan high-heeled open-toed shoes. I did my hair up in a braid and wrapped it around to the front, I then put on earth ones for my make-up. Walking out into the bedroom I then go to the baby’s dresser and pulled out a dark blue sleeper and a ha o match, I take the baby from Kristoff so he could take a shower.
The three of us goes down to the family dining area, in which we always notice the seas that are empty upon our arrival, Axel and Tessa’s seats along with Brandon and Theresa’s, glad to see that at least Royce and Brianna is still here. We sit down as one of the omega’s comes over to take Christian from me and another goes over to take Saber from Derrick, I am definitely not surprised to see that Sabrina isn’t sitting with us anymore, he did tell her that she only had his protection while she was carry his child. Before our meal is served Kristoff makes an announcement.
“I would like to introduce the two new additions in to our family and Pack, first Christian your future Alpha and his cousin Saber the future Beta. I do realize that we have three new baby additions to the family and we have that meeting with Axel today, so we need to think of babysitters for the three babies. Does anyone have an idea?”
“ I think Katie and Dylan would be perfect a lease for the cousins, now we need someone for Camdyn.” Emerald says.
“How about that new girl from the other pack Salina?” Brianna asked.
“Great Idea, this way it will also show that we trust them even if they did come from the enemy pack. Ok, so if Derrick and Caleb doesn’t have any objections then we will put Katie, Dylan and Salina on baby duty.”
“I agree.” Both Derrick and Caleb chimed in at the same time.
“Ok, with that settled let’s enjoy our breakfast before going to the meeting.” Kristoff says as the food is brought out to them.
Blue Moon Pack
We left the dining hall to go over to the conference room to get it ready for the meeting with Kristoff.
“Did you grab the books from the library Brandon?’ I asked my brother and Beta.
“Yes, it was nice of the Moon Goddess Diana to supply us with the needed resources for anything that could come up.”
“It was, now we need the books on the prophecy. It will give us an understanding just why this pack wants to get rid of our sister and cousin.”
{Alpha, there is a Jenifer Mills here to see you and she doesn’t seem very trust worthy.}
{She’s not, I will send Seth over to retrieve her.}
{Yes Alpha!} He says before ethe link is cut off, now to get Seth and Patrick to the front of the house to retrieve this bitch! Good thing we were told about her.
{Seth we have an unwanted visitor at the door, I want you to retrieve her and bring her my office.}
{On it, Alpha!}
“Brandon, come with me. We have a visitor.
Standing there in front of the new pack house I knew this was the best choice of action, with them just starting out they are not going to have their guard up and they will be easily manipulated. Finally, a member comes to the guard post to bring me inside of their pack house.
“Hi, I am Seth and this is Patrick we are the head warriors and trainers, I will take you to see Alpha Axel now.”
“Thank you, my name is Jenifer Mills. Sorry for this I just didn’t know who to turn to, my own pack won’t listen to me because my father won’t break allies with my ex-mates pack.” I explained to the warrior named Seth. He takes me inside the house and walked down an enormous hallway, we turned right and come up to a set of double doors. I looks like to me that this pack is more into wealth than anything else. He knocks on the door.
“COME IN!” I hear a loud growl voice out from the other side of the door. Guess they are more into scare tactics instead of fighting. We walk in and Seth closes the door behind the three of us. “Take a seat please, and tell us why you are here?” Noticing that he isn’t alone, looks like he brought along with him his whole inner circle minus their mates, if they even have mates.
