Chapter 323 Your Skills in Bed

Chapter 323 Your Skills in Bed

Anya's hand froze as she toyed with her wine glass, then slowly turned her head.

When she saw clearly that it was Xandra, a flash of disappointment and disgust crossed her face.

She ignored Xandra and turned back to tap on the bar, saying to the bartender, "Get me another drink."

It was already 1 AM. Xandra said coolly, "Looks like you haven't had enough. Fine, how about I rent out the whole place tonight and let you drink to your heart's content?"

Anya ignored her and said to the bartender impatiently, "Hurry up!"

The bartender said politely, "Miss, it's getting late. Our bar is about to close. You should head home with your friend."

"Who's her friend? I told you to make me a drink. Do you have ears or not?" Anya shouted.

"Sir, please make her a drink. If it delays your closing time, I'll pay you triple."

Xandra smiled slightly and placed a card on the bar.

Seeing this, the bartender didn't waste words and started making the drink.

Anya's chest heaved with anger as she glared at Xandra. "Who asked you to come? Get lost. I don't want to see you."

Xandra glanced at her. "Don't want to see me? Who do you want to see? My husband? Sorry, but he listens to me now. I told him to rest at home, so he's staying home like a good boy. So even if you drink yourself into a stomach bleed tonight, I'm afraid he won't come see you."

Her cool eyes held a hint of mockery.

Right now, she looked like a winner facing a loser.

Anya's heart burned with jealousy, nearly driving her mad.

"Xandra, you shameless slut, what gives you the right to take him away? Tell me, what does he like about you? Your skills in bed?"

Xandra looked at her expressionlessly without saying a word, as if watching a clown perform.

Anya felt like she was punching cotton, about to die of frustration.

Just then, the server brought over the drink.

"Here's your drink."

Anya grabbed the glass and downed it in one gulp.

"Another one!"

The bartender glanced at Xandra, and seeing she didn't object, continued making drinks.

Anya drank glass after glass, while Xandra simply sat nearby playing on her phone, waiting for Donald to arrive.

Half an hour later, Donald finally showed up.

And Anya was completely drunk.

"Mrs. Flores."

Donald was slightly out of breath. After calling out to Xandra, his eyes had already landed on Anya, his face full of concern.

"Donald, you're here. She's drunk. Take her home." Xandra stood up and put away her phone.

"Okay."

Donald went over to help Anya up from where she was slumped on the bar.

Anya groggily opened her eyes, her gaze landing on Donald's face, and grabbed his hand.

"Ray, you came! I knew you wouldn't leave me."

She mistook Donald for Frederick.

She hugged him and nuzzled against him.

Xandra let out a light snort and handed her card to the server to settle the bill.

Donald awkwardly helped the completely wasted Anya walk outside.

Anya had drunk too much and threw up as soon as they left the bar.

Donald patted her back and said to Xandra, who had followed them out, "Mrs. Flores, could you please get a bottle of water from my car?"

Xandra agreed and went straight to her own car instead.

The driver had been waiting nearby.

She had the driver get her a bottle of water, then opened the cap and handed it to Donald.

Donald thanked her, then said to Anya, "Ms. Bellamy, rinse your mouth first."

At that moment, the cool breeze outside, combined with throwing up, cleared Anya's foggy mind a bit.

She rinsed her mouth and looked up at Donald.

Seeing it wasn't Frederick, her expression changed repeatedly.

"Why is it you? Go away. Who asked you to meddle?"

She had thought it was her Ray who came.

Now she didn't want anyone. She only wanted to wait for her Ray to come!

But that man—how could he listen to Xandra so much!

Would he have to keep his distance from her from now on, reporting everything to Xandra, or even letting her handle things for him?

Donald stumbled from her push, lost his balance, and fell on his butt.

Anya also lost her footing and fell.

Donald showed no impatience. Instead, he quickly got up to help her.

"Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?"

His eyes were full of concern.

Xandra, watching from behind, noticed something.

Did Donald like Anya?

Seeing Anya struggling to push Donald away, Xandra walked over and helped support her.

"Anya, making a scene won't help. I told you, even if you died here today, he wouldn't come take care of you."

Hearing her voice, Anya cried out, "You're lying! He wouldn't! You must have threatened him. He wouldn't abandon me. He wouldn't!"

She cried heartbrokenly.

Donald couldn't help but say to Xandra, "Mrs. Flores, please say less. Ms. Bellamy is drunk. Why argue with a drunk person?"

Xandra glanced at him but said nothing.

Donald supported Anya, coaxing her gently as he helped her into his car.

Watching him care for her so carefully, Xandra looked thoughtful.

"Mrs. Flores, aren't we going back?" the driver asked cautiously.

Xandra thought to herself that she'd love to go home and sleep right now.

But Anya was an important person to her husband.

If she didn't make sure Anya got home safely, she couldn't explain it to her husband.

Xandra got in the car and told the driver to follow Donald's car.

Following along, they soon arrived at the complex where Anya lived.

This was a wealthy neighborhood in France—the area was new and quiet.

Anya had fallen asleep.

Donald carried her out of the car.

Xandra closed the car door for him.

"Thank you, Mrs. Flores."

Donald's attitude toward Xandra was now respectful.

Xandra said nothing and followed him into the elevator to Anya's apartment.

Donald carried her into the bedroom with practiced ease.

Xandra looked around, observing.

The apartment looked to be about a hundred square meters.

Two bedrooms, two living areas, with balconies front and back. The place was decorated very much in Anya's style.

"Mrs. Flores, could you please help Ms. Bellamy change her clothes? I'll go make her some honey water."

Donald came out of the bedroom, wiped his sweat, and asked respectfully.

He was a man and couldn't help Anya change clothes, which was why he was asking Xandra.

Xandra agreed, then went into Anya's bedroom and to her closet to find clean clothes.

She first found a nightgown, then looked for her underwear.

There were several drawers at the bottom of the closet where the underwear should be.

Xandra casually opened a drawer and saw it didn't contain women's underwear.

Instead, there was a black velvet box.

Xandra hadn't meant to snoop.

But the logo on this velvet box looked somewhat familiar.

Xandra paused for a moment, picked it up, and opened the box.

Inside was a necklace.

And this necklace was identical to the one Frederick had given her before!
