Chapter 60 Unexpected Revelation
Justin's eyes darkened, and he gazed at Quinn Murphy. His expression turned serious. "The plane we were supposed to board has been confirmed missing just ten minutes ago."
"What?" Quinn Murphy did not anticipate Justin's sudden change of topic and struggled to respond.
Justin sneered contemptuously, his lips curling slightly. "But for you, it doesn't make any difference whether you boarded the plane or not!"
With that, he walked towards the door with confidently.
Coincidentally, the door opened at that moment and a tall European-looking service staff entered with a large suitcase, nodding towards Justin as they crossed paths.
Justin only exchanged a glance with the staff, then walked out of the room without hesitation, listening to the sound of the door closing.
In the corridor, another staff member pushed a cart towards Justin. As they passed by, they whispered softly, "The airline has already taken care of it!"
Ignoring him, Justin walked towards the elevator. After leaving the hotel, he took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket.
It was brand new and unopened.
He leisurely opened it, took one out, lit it, and exhaled white smoke into the midnight sky.
Suddenly, the words Quinn Murphy had said to Daisy echoed in his mind: ”I will never agree to a divorce in this lifetime. Only widowhood awaits me when my husband dies.”
Such an ironic and funny statement!
He smirked, extinguished the cigarette in his hand, and answered a call on his phone. "Hello, Dad?"
The voice on the other end sounded urgent.
Justin replied quickly, "Yes, I didn't board the plane, but Quinn did."
Instantly, heart-wrenching cries came through the phone. Justin was shocked and his expression overwhelmed. The phone dropped to the ground and the screen shattered.
About thirty seconds later, the call was finally hung up.
Justin regained his composure, coldly looked at the shattered phone, and walked over to take out another phone from his pocket. He dialed an unfamiliar number and said, "Hey, make sure the incident of me and Quinn Murphy being on the plane trends on social media until 7 p.m. Keep it trending for a day."
As he spoke, he threw the pack of cigarettes into the nearby trash can, his eyes filled with disgust.
He really didn't like smoking, it was difficult to inhale!
"If I don't make you pay today, my surname is not Scott."
When Justin woke up, Daisy was still sleeping in his arms.
The narrow couch was barely enough for one person..
So throughout the night, Daisy lay on top of him, and Justin embraced her small buttocks as they slept.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Daisy's delicate face resting on his chest, her eyes were tightly shut. From his angle, he could clearly see her thick, curled eyelashes.
No wonder she always looked so appealing!
Justin's lips curled slightly, and he gently lifted Daisy, his black eyes focusing on her soft lips. He tilted his head and gave her a light kiss.
The strength of his grasp...
