Vanessa's POV
Everything has been going smoothly for 3 days now. I can proudly say my man is back.
I feel so happy being on good terms with him. He has also been trying so hard to not piss me off or anything. It's both cute and funny. We're back to skipping works on some days and he also hasn't stopped apologizing to me for a while. Though I've told him that the next time he apologizes to me, I'm spraying his most expensive car with fuck off.
You'd think that as a billionaire he'd want to test that theory. He hasn't said sorry since then.
"Cupcake, have you seen my black shirt?" Richard yelled from inside the room
"Come out, let me tell you" I yelled back
"Where is it?" He came out with only his black sweatpants.

"Where's my shirt?" He laughed, slapping my hands away

"You seem to have recovered from last sex" He smirked, leaning in regardless.

"Why? You want back shot?" He said, biting his lips
"You should see this" I turned my back, showing him the fuck off inscription written at the back
"How did I forget that" he palmed his face.
"Who's the real owner now" I wiggled my eyebrow at him.
"Listen carefully. I ordered for cupcakes" He pointed at me, walking into the room
"I thought I was your only cupcake!" I yelled. "Are you tired of eating me?" I screamed dramatically, falling on the couch
I laughed to myself after my dramatic performance. I am indeed a drama queen.
"What were you saying?" He said, caging me in-between his arms
"Are you tired of eating me?" I pouted
"Like I'll ever get tired of eating those sweet, soft, coochie" He said, pecking my lips. "I even want you to wake me up with it on my face"
"Ewww you pervert!" I slapped away his hands which were creeping into my shirt. "Get off my tits" I laughed as he squished my breasts in his palm.

"Huh?" I asked, looking at Richard who was smiling lightly.

"I was holding on to him not knowing he's moved on. I see that he loves you and would really want him to be happy so forgive me for being irrational that day" She said, looking down
Hmm? What do you have on your scheme Paula?
"Babe?" Richard called out to me. I stated at him with a questioning look. "She's apologizing"
I don't buy it
"Yeah, sure. It's fine" I nodded, walking up to Richard. "right, babe?" I smiled at Richard, hugging him
"Yes, Paula. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for accepting the truth"He said, snaking his arms around my waist.
"You might've just earned yourself a spot on my bridal train" I smiled at her sweetly.
"Pfft" She scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"What did you say?" I raised my eyebrow at her
"I should get going." She forcefully smiled at us. "Oh Vanessa, don't forget our last conversation okay?"
There, there! I knew another of her shenanigans.
"Oh I won't" I waved at her, shutting the door
"It's good to see that there's peace" Richard said, picking me up
"As if" I scoffed
"What do - oh! That should be the real cupcake" Richard dropped me down before opening the door. "Thanks, Mateo"
"Your side chick is here. I don't think I'm needed anymore" I pouted, sitting on the couch.
"Come over here, you big baby" He dropped the cupcake on the table gently then came to pick me up and dropped me on his lap. "You're my only cupcake. Why are you jealous of food, babe?" He chuckled.
"Give me one" I pouted
"It was long throat all these while?" He held my waist, laughing into my body
"Your time is running up" I said, laughing.
"Here" He said, giving me one. "It's 12 in a pack. It'll be enough for us"
"Hmm!!!!" I moaned loudly. "Yummy!"
"I knew you'd love it. This will make the main Cupcake sweeter." He said pointing at me
"Get away" I laughed, licking my lips
"So there's this Masquerade themed dinner a luxury restaurant is holding." He said, smiling
"So?"
"I'm just telling you" He shrugged
"I won't be surprised if you're one of the host" I shook my head
"You think?" He smirked
"Why then did you tell me?" I said, looking at him
"You'll see" He said, stuffing his mouth with one full cupcake.
"I can't wait to see. When is it?" I asked, now very curious
"Allow it come to you babe. You'll like it" He said, laughing at my facial expression. "Cheer up!" He pulled my nose.
"Okay fine" I groaned, picking up another cupcake.
"After everything I'm planning, I'll be travelling for a week or two." He said, turning me to face him, arranging my legs properly beside him.
"Huh?" I pouted
"I'm sorry I'll be gone for that long but please don't feel bad. I'll be back with a bigger thing planned for us. The next step to what we have going on" He smiled at me. Hearing that, I began to feel giddy.
Something bigger? Oh my goodness.
"Okay! You bought me there. I'll make sure I use my time well. Thanks for telling me earlier" I kissed him.
"Thank you for understanding babe." He said before kissing me passionately. "I really like you Miss Vanessa Willow"
