Miguel paced to and fro in the hospital reception after he had pleaded with Dora to give him one of the kid’s belongings.

He bit  his lower lips anxiously, “Mr Miguel Fernandez?” He heard his name being called and ran over immediately.

“Here are your brushes and yeah, the DNA report,” The nurse handed him an envelope which he tore the seal and brought out the paper in it.

His heart leaped looking at the result and tears rolled out of his eyes, “They…they… are my kids! I’m a father,” Miguel muttered to himself with his cheeks turning red.

“I should have done this long time ago Adriana, I’m coming to get you Adriana,” He whispered then took out his phone and dialed her number.

“The person you’re trying to call is unavailable—“ that was the response he keeps getting after trying it so many time.

“Humph, that wedding can’t happen,” Miguel told himself then walked out of the hospital premises.

(The Wedding Day- SUNDAY)

“Are the flowers fixed properly now?”

“Oh my Goodness! The cake haven’t arrived yet! Have you called the caterer?!”

“Can’t you set this properly? The decorations should match with the flowers.”

Everyone is busy going in and out of the big hall in order to make Gilbert wedding party elaborate, His name and Adriana’s were written boldly at the entrance of the hall.

“Hey man! The new groom in the city?” One of Gilbert’s old friend came to greet him where he was standing.

“Oh Auston! You came? It’s so good to see you man,” Gilbert exclaimed giving him a shake.

“You spent a fortune on this wedding, huh? Tell me, who’s this lucky lady?” Auston teased and they both laughed.

“She will be out soon, she’s stunning,” Gilbert boost with a bright smile.

“Sir Gilbert?” He heard his name from the other side.

“If you would excuse me Auston, I’m needed over there,” With that Gilbert went off.

Adriana who was in the bride’s waiting room anxiously grip her veil tight, “Do,,I really have to take it this far? I don’t want to marry him, I-“ She laments as tears almost destroyed her makeup.

She lifted her veil a little bit to clean her tear with a tissue when her charming prince and princess walked in. “Mummy! Mummy!” They called rushing over to her.

Scott and Skyler were putting on a black suit with a blue rose on their left chest while Scarlett was putting on a blue flared gown.

“You look so stunning, kids! I love you so much my babies,” Adriana pull them closer hugging them tight.

“You’re also beautiful mummy, we love you mummy!” They replied in unison while Adriana pull away from them and gave them all a kiss on their forehead.

“So mummy, is Sir Gilbert going to be our Daddy if you’re married to him?” Scott questioned and Adriana gave him a faint smile.

“Do you want him as your daddy?” She asked 

The kids nod in an instant, “Yes but Sir Miguel would have been better. Sir Miguel looks a lot like us, one would think he’s our Daddy,” Scarlett added and her face fell.

Adriana throat dried up, “Hmm, I-“

“Did someone forget me here? Phew! I have been standing here for someone to notice but no one did,” Dora’s voice interrupted her and Adriana lifted her face.

“Aunt Dora!” The kids ran into her arms. “We missed you!” They chorused and Dora giggles 

“I missed you too,” She told them as they pull away from the hug.

Adriana stood up from where she sat, “D,,Dora? You came?” She shutters.

Dora shrugs her shoulders, “I’m sorry I was harsh to you and I had a little understanding about how you must have felt, I’m sorry,” Dora instantly apologized and ran into Adriana arms.

Adriana pull away slowly, “There’s nothing to be sorry about, You were only telling me the truth which I should have listened and now I’m regretting it. Did you know-“

“I don’t think it’s time for you to start talking with your friend? The ceremony is about to begin, let’s head out,” Gilbert cut her off as he stood by the door.

“Oh, Hi!” Dora waved at him but he rolled his eyes, he entered and grabbed Adriana’s wrist.

“I’m sorry to disturb you but I’m taking my wife with me, see you Dora,” With that he pull Adriana out.

Gilbert lifted Adriana’s veil up when they got to a corner, “Behave yourself, Adriana. Don’t test my patience,” He whispered while Adriana bite her lower lips.

“Now let’s welcome the bride and groom,” The Host announced and the doors were opened, Gilbert came in majestically with Adriana.

Guests clapped for them as they slowly walks to the altar, “Adriana Georgia, do you take Gilbert Johansson as your lawfully wedded husband?” The host asked while Adriana looked lost.

Gilbert pinched her and that made her jerk, “Speak up,” He whispered to her through gritted teeth.

“Yeah, I,.. I do,” She muttered faintly.

“Gilbert Johansson, do you take Adriana Georgia as your lawfully wedded wife?” The host turned to Gilbert who was full of smiles.

“Yes I do,” He replied with an  elastic smile.

“Now before so many witnesses, I now pronounce to you as Husband—“

“NO ONE, I REPEAT, NO ONE TAKES WHAT’S MINE,” A deep masculine voice interrupted the wedding, everyone turned. The person was standing at the door way then he walked in with his dangerous sound of his footsteps.

“There’s no way the mother of my kids is getting married to another man in my presence,” When he came into light, Adriana gasped.

“M-Miguel,,?”

“I’m sorry I came extremely late,” Without hesitation, Miguel grabbed Adriana by the waist and placed his lips on hers
