Revenge: Submitting To The Mafia King

Cara was just trying to get by, and that can be a bit frustrating when you have a drunk and gambler for a father. Her only comfort and hope was her douchebag fiancé until everything went downhill when she caught him cheating on her 22nd birthday. In a fit of rage, she kisses the first person she sees to spite him, and he turns out to be a possessive, hot-looking stranger who had been poisoned by an aphrodisiac... but with her most recent heartbreak, Cara does not have the time for boys anymore, especially boys who think they run the world.

Except Adonis is not a boy. He's a man, and he might not run the world, but he runs half of it.

He's rich, uptight, hard, brooding, unforgiving, and sexy, and it's his turn to lead the family. It's all he has ever known and has been trained for. What happens when the requirement is a family of his own?

From escaping heartbreak to being poisoned with an aphrodisiac, somehow they both end up beneath the sheets. An experience Cara describes as the best sex she had ever had.

Presenting Cara with a proposition, Adonis promises to protect her and pay off all her family's debt if she would be his wife for a year. It was more than she could ever ask for; the sex was just a bonus... or so she thought.

What happens when she wakes up the next morning to news of her father's death and it turns out that the person she just signed a year marriage contract with is not only the reason for his death, but is actually the leader of one of the most dangerous mafia families in the world?

Guess it's time for revenge... or time to fall in love?
