Chapter 3
Elena;
Upon entering the room, I immediately scrunch my nose at the pungent odor of weed. Yes, I knew what it was and what it smelled like due to the nature of my job. But I still couldn't get used to it. It always messes with my system.
Coughing slightly, I took a good look at the shirtless man in front of me. Angelo Fabian.
My first time setting my eyes on him and I couldn't help but notice his well-defined looks. His eyes were a shade of light blue and.... tattoos covered his whole chest and arm.
Regardless, I still noticed the not-so-faint gory scars on his torso and abdomen. I felt a chill run down my spine at the deadly aura emanating from him.
He was just as I'd expected, except for the fact that he was way younger than I had imagined him to be In my head. Plus, I wasn't expecting him to be so devilishly handsome and sexy at the same time.
I didn't realize I was standing and gaping at him until his deep voice sounded, making me jerk slightly and I felt my face heat.
"Damn sweetcheeks, it is a pleasure to finally have you here."
I scrunched my brows slightly in shock, 'Does he know me from somewhere?' I wondered to myself.
He gave a toothy smile and got off the bed. My gaze trailed down to his almost naked form, his shirtless body, and down to his...
I shook my head at the disgustingly dirty thoughts. 'What the heck is wrong with me?'
He was by my side in less than a second and I felt his hands grab my waist. "I have been dying to have a taste of this luscious body of yours, love."
His hands went downwards and he grabbed my boobs, causing a wave of panic to wash me over. I forcefully pulled his hand away and stepped back in shock.
"What the heck!" I snapped out loudly. I saw his eyes darken and for some reason, the room suddenly became chilly.
He must have mistaken me for someone, cause I certainly wasn't a slut or whatever he thought I was. I cleared my throat and said as calmly as possible.
"I am not... who you think I am. Not a slut!"
His expression hardened but then he blinked.
Composing myself, I went straight to the point. "I am the daughter of Eric Donovan." I paused, watching his reaction. And true to my guess, he was enraged. But I continued.
"I know what my father did. And I came here to... plead on his behalf... if you can spare him and give me a little more time to come up with the money and settle all he owes you."
I took a deep breath as I let the words out. My eyes met his and I saw his countenance transform into a scary one. His eyes darkened and his jaws and fists clenched by his side.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me!" He took menacing steps toward me and I stepped back further until my back hit the door.
He grabbed my cheeks, forcefully and said, "It seems you have no clue as to who I am sweet cheeks. I am the fucking Angelo Fabian, the number one most ruthless Mafia Lord in this fucking country. And no one--not even your dim wit of a father messes with me and goes scot-free!"
He enunciated every word, leaving me breathing hard with my eyes wide open. His hot breath caressed my cheeks and I saw his eyes flicker to my lips. My heart was beating so fast as his hands grazed my nose and my lips.
"Your father is never escaping from this. You, on the other hand, have a lot of guts showing up here."
I wanted to snap his hands away for his guts but I felt handicapped, his gaze paralyzing me in place.
"But," he added, "I could make an exception though. I could spare your father and forget about his debts," he glanced over my face and then back to my eyes, "I could go against my principles' and forgive him,"
I felt a surge of relief wash over me but a flicker of doubt crossed my mind. 'Wasn't he considered unforgiving? Was he perhaps playing at something dangerous here?' I wondered.
His masculine scent washed over me, messing with my senses. I didn't notice he was kissing my neck, and I heard him whisper, "On the condition that you would be my sexual plaything..."
I felt my heart skip, "wait, what!?
"For a year," He completed.
I shook my head, planting a disbelieving look on my face. What was I expecting by the way? He pulled back slightly, watching me with an amused expression and I couldn't control my next words any longer.
"You must be joking to suggest something as disgusting as that. Over my dead body would I agree to such shameless request from you..."
"Sorry baby, I don't do c**pse. So you are staying very much alive."
"I am not a toy to be played with. And besides, I have a boyfriend, so look elsewhere."
The corner of his lips curled up in a smirk and I simply turned my back and made to open the door, but his words stopped me. "Be ready to receive your father's bones if you are sticking on rejecting my offer."
I turned sharply back at him and he raised an eyebrow, "However, I do not need your permission to have you. I do not care what you want or do not want."
"You are one hell of a cocky bastard. Keep being delusional." I placed a hand on the doorknob and turned it, planning to leave, but it didn't budge.
In an instant, I felt strong hands on me and I was thrown on the bed. Angelo hovered over me, his breath reeking of alcohol and weed.
I was beginning to panic and tried to get up sharply, but he held me back down. He was enraged, and as much as I was repulsed and angry at him, I felt so scared.
