Wait for me

Wait for me
Sandra was trying to figure out why Beta Khan would want her at any costly restaurant. He doesn't love her, so why would he do that? She tried checking out her best outfit just to make sure she looked good, but she couldn't settle for anything.

"Why am I worried? Why the need to dress nicely? Am I attempting to impress him?" She ruffles her hair confusedly. She sat down for a while in a confused state of mind. Then a messaged chimed up on her phone.

"I ordered a car to come and get you; please don't hesitate to come here with him" she reads out, opening her mouth in bewilderment. Why would he order a cab for her? Is this some kind of special occasion? She couldn't get a proper answer of what's going on. She gets up from the chair and finally chooses something to wear; it was a short gown that barely covers her knees, bringing out all her curves. She packed her hair in a ponytail and wore herself some light make-up just to get a perfect look, and she poured her hair freely as she braided it into a curly style. She also wore a red lip gloss on her lips, giving her the look of a queen. She went to look at herself in the mirror and couldn't contain her amusement.

"Wow! I appeared so scary, but at the same time lovely." She chuckled as a smile swept her face. She settles for a black-heeled shoe that completes its beauty; she gulps down nothing.

"Sandra, why are you dressing up like you are going on a date?" she asked herself, and she doesn't understand why. She decided to put on something casual when a strange number popped up on her phone. She scoffed and clicked on the answer button.

"I am the driver sent here by Khan Wesley to pick you up; I am right in front of your building," she sighed in disbelief. That was so quick.

"Wait up. I will join you briefly." She rushed to get her pause and rushed out of her room. She met her brothers and mother. In the living room, the surprise on the face said it all. "Are you going on a date? When on earth did you start roaming around at this time when you knew you were wolfless?" her troublesome brother demanded.

"Fuck you!" She gave him a fuck you thumb before heading out.

"Mum, I am hanging out, I will be back soon. The driver of right infront of out building" She blew her kisses and gave her naughty brother an eyeroll before heading out. She tried to maintain her outburst, so she took a deep breath. As she walked towards the car like a gentle lady, watching her steps. The driver couldn't get his eyes off her as he was over her from head to toe.

"Get in, ma, but I must say that you are indeed the epitome of beauty," he said, opening the door, and she smiled.

"You don't really have to do that; I have my hands," she said, showing off her hands. She got into the car and spoke further.

"Thanks for the compliment. Can we go now?" Her voice is polite and lovely at the same time. Getting to the restaurant, he packed properly in the garage. And getting down, a lady in her uniform walked towards her.

"You are welcome, Mrs. Sandra," her words seemingly suggestions. She sighed..

",Why should I follow you? I mean, just like that, when I don't know you. Is that how it works?" she replied, her phrases leaving a tinge of doubt.

"You are safe, ma'am; this was the instruction from Mr. Khan Wesley," she said, and she couldn't conceal her amusement. She wonders why she was suddenly using Mr. instead of Beta.

"Are you here to show me to him?" She asked, and she nodded a yes in reply.

"I will take the lead." She said as she walked behind her that she feels a little bit of awkwardness, maybe because she hasn't been to this type of place or because she's not used to this type of life. But it's a good experience being there, yet she doesn't know how to feel. She maintained her composure and didn't attempt to ruin this; however, she started feeling so uneasy getting into the grand restaurant filled with wealthy werewolves, some having fun as families and some as business personnel. She felt on top of the world, and as they walked away from the main building, she felt a surge of doubt. Contemplating whether to still trust her or not.

"Aren't we there? Where exactly is he?" Her voice is demanding, with a touch of worry.

"We are almost there, and the rest is for him to announce." She replied politely with deference and diligence. After walking for a second, the door to the VIP slide opened.

"You can get in, ma'am; all your questions will be answered in there. I guess you shouldn't keep him waiting," she said respectfully, leaving some confusion in her mind. "What are you talking about?" She had already left before she could gather her tone. She made her way in and was surprised to see how decorated everything was. And there's a different inscription on the wall.

"I am really sorry

I have a confession to make

Accept this little date with you she bursted out laughing; she couldn't believe he went this far just because of a date. She tried checking him around, but he came from behind, and turning around she was amused to see the inscription he was holding. "You are welcome, my mate." She was dazed and couldn't help but retrieve her bewilderment.

"What are you talking about, Beta Khan?" she asked, and he chuckled.

"You are my mate, I never realized this earlier. I am so sorry." The word sparked up an eerie atmosphere.

"What are you talking about?" her tone denied her as she let out her confusion.

"You are my mate, Sandra. I am sorry for treating you badly in the first place." His voice was filled with skepticism as he bit his lips in regret.
'

"How can that be possible? You are about to get married to Benita; how was I supposed to be your mate? Please can you stop joking, I mean right now? I already have a lot going on in my head lately" Her voice changed to an annoying tone, and she was about to leave, but he dragged her back.

"I told you I had a confession; please try to listen before you make your decision" His voice shook as he let out

"Tell me what it is because I can't take anymore of your surprises again; it's literally not working. She hit her head, maintaining her composure.

"You should at least calm down; I will explain everything' he says, gulping down his lumps. "I know I said a lot of things to you; I told you I didn't love you; I told you I was happy with that marriage; I know I said a lot, but everything was a lie. I love you, Sandra. I can tell you everything you want to know, but please just believe me. "He held her hand, looking into her eyes. But she looks away.

"Why will you do such a thing, and why do you think I am your mate? I am just a mere Omega who feels blindly in love with you. Why are you confusing me? she shouted frustratedly.

", I know I approached you on poposed; I did that because I wanted to know things about Octovia. But I swear I later realized I was in love with you, that marriage is all a lie, and that child isn't mine. It was all Benita's plot, and this is the only way to stop her from causing more damage" he explained as her lips narrowed in shock.

"Are you kidding me right now? You know you don't always have to joke with me." She hit his chest angrily. And he pulled her into a hug, not ready to let go.

"Benita lured Alpha Xander into this; she drug him and made him had sex with her." But somehow we save him and gets her confused that I was the one who had sex with her, but she's unconvinced. If Benita were to be our Luna, many things would be destroyed, so to keep her shut, I had to do this. I wanted you to move on and shouldn't wait for me, but Alpha Xander insisted if I don't tell you everything and I should ask for your concept, then he's going to reveal everything without thinking of the mess it will cause. But I really have to do this. I will divorce her after she gives birth, please." He explained further, his voice shaking and heavy while they both cried on each other's arms.

"So you choose to tell me this in the VIP, right?" her voice weak.

"I thought this was a better way of saying this to you. I want to know if you will wait for me; I will reject her after the delivery and marry you" He held her hand, looking into her eyes, desperately wanting to hear her response.
