ALPHA JED

My eyes were closed but I knew the exact minute she walked in. I know it's her because no one else knows about my whereabouts but her.

"Father?" Her voice came out weak and tired like she's just ran a marathon to come here.

"How are you feeling father?" She asks when I don't acknowledge her previous call.

Ever since I managed to escape from that prison, I have been hiding out here. My wolf is battered and injured and I need to gain full recovery if I am ever going to unleash my revenge on Asher and his brother for everything they had done and put me through.

I don't know what this place is but Sally requests that it's safe and I should rest here while I recuperate.

I open my eyes slowly to see her standing there. She is staring at me with so much intensity like she's expecting something from me.

"Why are you here?" I deep like growl escapes my lips "I specifically asked you not to come till I'm ready for you"

"I know you did but I'm here because I want us to start with your plan before—"

"Before what?" I snapped angrily at her "What have you done this time Sally? Did you manage to blow our cover you useless child!" I spat angrily.

She shivers "No father. No one suspects anything but Fred is smart. He is not like Asher. If Alexia says something then It's only a matter of time before he figures us out"

I stand up from the rock like chair and advanced towards her. I slapped her hard on the cheeks which I am almost certain will leave a mark.

"What did you say to that little slut?" I searched her face as I tried to make her talk. She looks everywhere but my eyes because she is scared. She's supposed to be scared.

"Did you go about bragging and blabbing all my plans to her?"

She shook her head slowly "I will never. I didn't tell her anything"

"Then how is it that the Alpha's brother is unto us now?"

"They won't find you" she stutters in a low voice "I promise"

"You better make absolutely sure of that Sally because if my plan goes wrong, you'll be dying in place of both of them" I warn he sternly. My face devoid of all emotions.

I watched her swallow.

"Whatever twisted love you have for Fred, you should let it go. He will never belong to you because that slut is his mate." I gave her a cynical smile when she looked at me in disbelief "I should've had my way with her when we had the chance but not to worry, she'll be satisfying my cock soon. I cannot wait to see the looks on their faces when they watch me claim their mate In front of their very eyes just as I killed their good for nothing parents as well" I closed my eyes and licked my lips as I envisioned her wet dripping womanhood on my cock.

The imagination is bliss but the reality be heavenly.

"You're bleeding?" Sally rasps out as she crouched down next to me in an attempt to stop the injury from oozing out so much blood but there's only little she can do.

I hold her hands in place and push her away.

"But father—" she was saying but I hold out my hands to her to shut her up.

"This is nothing compared to what's coming. Don't worry about me and get to work. We still have a lot to do" I seethe. She turns and starts walking towards the entrance of the cave before she stops and turns to look at me.

"Do not forget to apply what I gave to you. Otherwise they'll sniff you out in a matter of seconds." With that she she turns and exits the cave.

I stare at the entrance a little longer as though she was still there.

She reminds me of her mother. Daring, bold but then again extremely stupid. When her mother got pregnant for me after our usual sexcapedes, I forbade her to terminate. A witch with my blood will be very powerful and might be of great use in the future to me.

Like honey to bee, she succumbed and gave birth to Sally but died afterwards. Witches doesn't coexist with werewolves so it was impossible for Sally to live close to me and plus, I had my Luna. The queen whom I loved with all my heart and I didn't want to disappoint her. I had one of my trusted maid, raise her instead but I did visit from time to time.

When she had her first shift. I was filled with estacy. The fact that she would carry out my wish excited me. She always wanted to please me like her mother so she never hesitated for a second in serving me but then Asher attacked my pack and killed my woman in front of my very eyes. He killed her like an animal. A gruesome animal. He should've killed me but he chose to kill her instead.

Every day in that dungeon, I was being hunted by her spirits. I could tell that she was angry at me and that she also wanted revenge. I could tell that she wanted Asher dead as much as I did so I endured the bitter torture. I took all the pain. I took everything because I know that my revenge will be swift and victorious and that was when my daughter came in handy.

She was my eyes and ears in the palace.

I wanted my escape to cause a lot of confusion between the brothers so when she told me about Alexia being their mate, and how Asher despised her, I figured it out.

I would blame it on her. She would be my pawn.

The rift between the brothers would be of great use to me. I know that even though he hated Alexia, his wolf doesn't. You cannot stay away from your mate and very soon, she'll also be out of there, In my arms where she indeed belongs. A smirk played on my lips as the plan began to come together piece after piece.

ALEXIA

"My lord" I hugged him like my life depended on it after he kissed me. It was the only way I could tell that it was him and I am extremely grateful that he thinks nothing about it as well.

"Is Asher still mad at me?"

Fred looks at me wordlessly "Everything will be fine Alexia. I promise. Asher doesn't know who to believe and that's why he's confused."

"But why do you trust me? For all we know, I could be lying and trying to lure you into a bigger problem"

He touches my cheeks lovingly "Because I know you Alexia. You cannot even hurt a fly. You're one of the purest souls that I have ever met and I am grateful that you are my mate"

A smile breaks out on my face when he says that.

"Thank you my lord" I tell him sincerely.

With everything else going haywire, it's refreshing to know that someone actually believes in you despite the scandal going on.

"Everyone must hate me now" my face tightens when I say that "They will all think that it's the truth because I am not from here."

"Think nothing of it" he shuns me "And you shouldn't bother yourself with what they have to say. I trust you and that's what matters"

"Sally visited my dungeon last night" I whispered to him and just looks on.

"I sent for her yesterday"

I jaw drops open. Why would he do that?

"What did you say to her?" I ask, brushing my thoughts away.

"I do not think that she has a hand in this"

I breathe out "She does. You have to trust me"

At that moment, my eyes becomes blurry as a wave of dizziness hits me hard. I almost fall but Fred catches me just in time.

"What is it? What happened?"

"Asher found out that you came to visit so..." I lift up my gown to show him the bruises under my skin, right beneath my thighs. "He ordered them to hit me. That was before Sally visited"

Fred's lips curled up in anger as he stared at the bruises so I quickly cover it up. "It's just a minor injury. I'll be fine." I try to reassure him.

"You are not Jed. He has no right to hurt you?"

My wolf whimpers when he said that "But he does. He's also my mate as well."

"Alexia—"

"I will be fine" I hold his hands and squeezed tightly "Trust me"

"Okay."

"Did you manage to get any news from Jed concerning his whereabouts?"

He sighs tiredly "There is no news. It's almost like he disappeared into thin air"

"Sally mentioned something about not being able to catch what you cannot see or smell"

"I don't understand"

"Neither do I my lord but she was so confident when she said it. Almost like it's full proof and that we're just wasting our time."

"Why don't we just hold her captive?" He suggests

"Sally is smart. She won't tell us where he is. We'll only be wasting our time and Jed will have the upper hand no matter what we do. He'll attack. We can't risk her knowing what we know. It's too dangerous" I whisper to him.

"What do you propose that we do then"

I think for a while before saying "Let her come to me"
